Description of Work: My headliner was falling off in my car. He repaired it, now it looks like new, as if nothing ever happened. My car is older, and the plastic is hardening, so there were some parts that did not snap in place when he repaired it. I brought it back to him, and he fixed the problem. The problem was ultimately the wearing down of the plastic, which had nothing to do with his workmanship. He was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend.

+ 1 moreIt went very well. I was nervous using a non-OEM (aftermarket) part, but the glass they use looks even better than the original. I am extremely pleased with it. And the price was very reasonable and much less than I expected to . Chris, the owner, took such good care of me and my car. He even drove me to and from work. He's been doing this a long time and his excellent customer service and quality work shows. Even though I hope I don't need them again, I am very grateful that I found them and give my highest recommendation.
Description of Work: They replaced my cracked Honda CRV windshield with a new one.

Description of Work: Inquired about having travel scooter seat cover reupholstered in leather versus vinyl. Chris responded to my e-mail inquiry promptly advising me about a scooterparts website which would allow me to buy a replacement vinyl one faster and at a cheaper price than he could fabricate one for me. I found the replacement and had it on my scooter with in 2 days. I really appreciated his information even at a loss of profit for himself. I have an indoor scooter which also needs replacement and I plan to have him do a custom cover for it since with my mobility issues I am very destructive to the vinyl on the seat covers as I get into and out of the seats. Thanks Chris for your very helpful and timely information.

+ -1 moreFirst Chris responded right away to my emails AFTER HOURS! Was super fair, asked if he could sew on Seadoo clips once received and fix my torn seat. He said yes on the clips but no on the Seadoo seat. Super honest. Chris knew I needed the cover back before the end of the week and he had it done. Was very fair, responsive, price was outstanding and was punctual. Would recommend. Opens at 8am which was a super big help.
Description of Work: Sewed extra clips on my on Seadoo wave runner cover.

+ -1 moreChris( owner/installer ) honored our set-up date, installed the top on time ( single day ) with pick-up the and quot;following morningand quot; after the car sat overnight and a re-check by Chris; ( mandated by a protocol used by knowledgeable professionals ). The final product was exceptional , not just cosmetically, but Chris fixed the hydraulic system ( responsible for automatically lowering/raising the top) for a nominal charge ( un-operational for at least 1 year ). Incredibly, by providing a used part he had in his shop, I was saved hundreds of dollars. Chris's exceptional results, personality and care for his customers make this service provider impressive!

When I went to their place of work, they took me right in and the work was completed in the said amount of time. It was excellent work, you would not have known that the windshield was replaced. They did a great job.

+ 1 moreThe car repair went fine. Unlike your website. No wonder there are so few reviews. You make it quite difficult to provide a review by requiring too much information. Location? Year built? We are talking about a car repair here. Why are you insisting on irrelevant information before letting me submit a simple review? This is my first time trying to do a review on Angie's List, and the experience has strongly discouraged me from trying again.
Description of Work: We have a second car, an older Buick sedan, that had no operable windows. Our request to the shop was to do a minimal repair by making the driver's window operable and permanently closing a back window that was jammed open. This involved taking two doors apart. Years ago, we had window problems in another car and our experience was that anything that involved taking a door apart was very expensive. Not so here. They installed a new part in the driver's window which now works fine, permanently closed the other window, put everything back together and even cleaned the crud off the windows, for well under $200, a price we thought very reasonable. They did the work promptly and were otherwise easy to deal with.

+ -1 moreWhen our Honda Dealer said it would cost over $700 to fix a sagging headliner, we headed home and straight to Angie's list. Although Southern Auto was 1/2 hr away it was well worth the drive. We were given a fair quote but Chris explained to us how it could be a bigger problem if rust was involved. Thankfully it wasn't but it was nice to know up front that the cost could've gone up. The headliner looks great. We thought they did such a great job that when we went to pick up the Honda, we left our Acura with him for an interior repair. Yes, both cars were fixed for half the Dealer's estimate on just the head liner. You can't beat that! The Owners are no bs, very professional, stand-up guys.

And when the job took a little longer than expected they dropped my car off at my house when it was finished so I wouldn't be further inconvenienced.
