All repairs went well and were done quickly and as expected.

Showed up more or less on time on short notice, was very courteous, but I think because of the short notice had other family members with him. Maybe a very small contractor. Some other providers listed had ridiculous waiting lists and were dismissive, and gave the impression they were not interested in doing the work unless it was a big job. But to me having a large screen panel falling down and a hole in another was a relatively urgent matter. I hate bugs that bite and I'm no handyman. I just wanted the work done professionally and I was happy to find someone that could come when I needed so I could continue to enjoy my pool. I would not hesitate to call this company again or to give them a bigger job.

Did a good job, pleasant and professional

We first engaged South Florida Screen on 2/13. Shawn came out on 2/18 and we worked out a good price and signed the paperwork a few days later. An estimate of 6-8 weeks was provided. The initial paperwork was fast and I paid $4,250. So far so good. Forward to the end of April. Shawn finally sends me the plans and I say OK, then I pay another $4,250. Company submits the plans to the city on 5/4. The plans are DENIED 5 days later. We start following up and we are told that they will submit the corrected plans right away! One month later, 6/7, we see that nothing has happened so we reach out to Paul who tells us that the city is taking a long time to review plans. So we call the city (we know the mayor). They tell us that NO REVISED PLANS have been submitted! We let Paul know. He promises that plans will be submitted by 6/12 latest (5 WEEKS after they were denied). It is currently 6/14 and Paul is ignoring our calls and messages and Miami Lakes still has not received updated plans! I really hope that the end result is what we were promised as far as the screen is concerned! We have paid out $8,500 and NOTHING to show for it. There is no excuse for the very poor customer service that this company has shown us and for taking so far 16 weeks when they promised 6-8 weeks.

The boss of the company was unbelievably rude after I complained that the guy who does the estimates ignored my calls. I would not want to deal with him ever again. The work was done well and his employees were professional and courteous.

After some weather delays, work proceeded and finished within two days. New door hardware was installed and the screen frame was pressure cleaned. So far, everything looks fine and is holding up. At this point in time, I would recommend South Florida Screen to anyone needing this type of work done at a fairly good price.

Shawn Took My money and wrote up a contract to build a sun-room within 6-8 weeks and never contacted me since. they wrote in the contract that they will get the HOA Approval and then told me that i have to get it when i called they said they are still working on the paper work. when i called 2 Weeks later they didn't answer the phone. don't give them your money and don't trust them it must be a Phoney company

They lied to us from day #1. We hired them on Jan 27, 2017. We knew from the beginning that the city of coral gables is not the fastest about giving permits etc. However, today (June 6th, 2017) my husband called the city and found out this company NEVER submitted anything for a building permit. We then called Sean, the guy we were in touch with from the beginning, and his phone was disconnected. We called the company line and were told Sean no longer works with them. We were NEVER contacted about the progress or the lack there of, we were never kept in the loop, we were never told where our money was going. So, in short; This company so far has collected around 4000$ from us, and did not deliver ANYTHING. The project manager does not return our calls. We were promised by Sean that the project would be finished in April; the worst case scenario would be early May, and that would be ONLY because of the "difficult city of Coral Gables". We are in June now, nothing has been done, and nothing was even submitted to the city. I hope this review would give you some insight of the work ethics of this company. At this point we want a full refund but of course that is IF anyone from the company "bothered" to get back to us. If you want screen enclosures, look somewhere else!

A few months after repair was done 1 roof screen panel came off as the rubber around it came off. Kick plate popped out again. Called the company to come fix it. Was told they guarantee their work for 30 days only!!! After that it's a full price service. A year later, we now are re-repairing all screen panels that were installed by South Florida Screens, using another company, of course! Would not recommend or hire them ever again. This is money washed down the drain.

Shawn and his partner arrived early, worked efficiently and continuously until all screens were installed. They were happy to answer any questions I had before, during and after the installation. They cleaned up their from the work area leaving it look as if they were never there.

2/14/2017: Call to Tiffany. Pleasant and professional. Estimate given. Date set for 2/16/2017 between 12 - 4 pm. 2/15/2017: Call from Tiffany. Time of apt set back slightly because workmen would be further away than anticipated on an earlier job. Pleasant and professional. 2/16/2017: No sign of anyone by 3:30 pm. Call to office. Message left. Received quick call back and was told that they would page the workers. Workers called back and then arrived close to 5 pm. Work done quickly and professionally by two very pleasant gentlemen. Over all very pleased. Would use them again and would recommend them.

Great! Very polite and professional on the phone. We originally set up an appointment on December 1st because of the Thanksgiving holiday but they were able to come the day before Thanksgiving. I purchased the coupon for 8 screens but they also replaced an additional screen at no charge. They did a fantastic job. Pricing was fair. Would highly recommend their work and company. I will use their services at my rental property.

The quality of the screening appears to be very good--so ultimately they did a good job. I liked the sales person (Sean) very much. He was professional and helpful. He said it would likely be 8 to 12 weeks to completion. That was the middle of June. The final inspection was yesterday, 11/15. We got off to a bad start when they wanted me to sign paperwork that was not complete on their side. They said it would waste time, but I wanted the details filled in before signing off. I was shocked that they even suggested this. Perhaps the City of Miami was simply slow in approving the permits (that is the information from S. FL Screen) and that was beyond their control, but they were horrible about giving updates (but the office manager Lynn occasionally did give a good update), and even complained the first time I asked that they were too busy to provide an updates. I kept asking occasionally anyway. Then they finally called about 2.5 weeks ago and said everything was approved and that they were going to manufacture the material, which would take 2 or 3 days, and then would be out to complete the job which would take another couple of days. Ten days later I get a call saying they were coming out that afternoon--but I was at the airport leaving for a 4 day business trip. When I told him I was traveling, he had the gall to complain that I hadn't told that I would be away and the I should have warned them about upcoming trips. But then never had asked. And he also claimed that they were right on schedule (when it had been 5 months after promising 8 to 12 weeks). He actually gave me a hard time. They came out about a week later, on a Friday. Again with only a few hours of warning and started the job. At the end of the day, they said they would come back and finish it the next day, but then did not show up. They called on Monday to apologize--saying one of the crew had taken ill. They came out and finished it a couple of days later. The only real glitch was that they had not accounted for the slop of the patio when planning, so the doors did not open properly. They came up with a reasonable solution, but it meant reversing the way the doors opened. Otherwise I am satisfied with the product, but dealing with them has not always been pleasant. Upon completion, the crew foreman asked me for the last payment (the last 3rd). I said my understanding was that the last payment was made after the inspections were completed. He seemed unhappy, but left. The day the inspections were completed I was at the hospital with my mother. They called in the afternoon and left a message asking for a credit card payment. Because I only got the message in the evening when I left the hospital (poor reception), there was not time to call. The next morning they had already called twice more by 9:15 am, the first call coming at 7:44 am.

However, the quote was more expensive than i was willing to pay. I did not use their services.

On September 26, 2016, at 8:45 a.m., Brian, from South Florida Screen, called to advise me that he was on his way over to begin my enclosure. I was surprised because I called South Florida Screen o September 20 and was advised that, "We are within our time frame and we will call you a few days before work begins." I did not receive a phone call from South Florida Screen advising me that work would begin on September 26, 206. Brian arrived and asked for the 2nd payment which was due at the start of the frame. I explained that because I was not aware that work was starting, I did not have the payment but would pay him as soon as my husband was able to get the money which was 9/29/2016 . On September 30, I received a phone call from Alan Rawyser,President of SOUTH FLORIDA SCREEN, telling me work was complete and final payment was due. I told him I didn't think the enclosure was complete because there were leaks inside and outside the room when it rained. I also told Alan there was a closed can of sealant and a paint brush in the room. He advised that he was going to text Brian to find out what was going on but that I should also call Brian. I called Brian and he advised me that the room was not finished and he would be back to finish. Brian was able to come back after Hurricane Matthew. On Tuesday October 11, 2016 Alan left a message telling me the enclosure was now complete and final payment was due, he wanted to send someone to my house to collect final payment or take my credit card number over the phone. I returned the call and told Alan that I would pay him the following Monday (10/17/16) afternoon when I was sure the enclosure was complete and not leaking. He then started screaming at me that "the contract stated final payment is due upon completion" and he (Alan) says the room is complete, "I am going to put a lien on your house". I couldn't listen to his threats, verbal abuse, ranting and screaming, so I hung up. About a minute later, the phone rang, seeing that it was South Florida Screen, I told my husband to answer it. My husband calmly explained the situation to him and again Alan started screaming, threatening foreclosure and liens, he also told my husband, "You better watch out" my husband asked if he was threatening him and Alan replied, "Just watch out." Alan also told my husband that the final payment was needed to pay his rent. My husband kept calmly stating that we would be in Monday afternoon and that due to our religious holiday nothing further could be talked about now and Alan screamed, "You think the world stops for your holiday, well it doesn't." My husband finally hung up. It rained again Wednesday and we saw there was some leakage so I again called Brian. He came out Monday afternoon, October 17 to seal the leaky area. I left my house at 1:15, I paid South Florida Screen at 3:40 p.m at which time I asked for a waiver of lien, Alan told me I would have it in 24 hours; it is more than 24 hours and I do not have the waiver. When I arrived home there were two messages from South Florida Screen, Melissa called at 1:19 asking when I was coming in to make payment and another from Bill at 2:54 also asking when I would be in to make my final payment. (If I had been home for the phone calls I would have felt as though I was being harassed). We can only hope that the leak was repaired and/or Alan will stand behind his 5 year guarantee. For the most part, Brian (enclosure installer) and Andre (gutter installer) did a professional job. What should have been a pleasant experience turned into a disaster.

Excellent communications to set up appointment: happened the same day, which was great. Work was done quickly and installer was friendly and professional.

Very good...Todd called me twice to let me know he was delayed by rain. I really appreciated that. Plus he informed me when he was blocks away. Screen door looks perfect.

Great! Lynn was very polite and professional on the phone. We set up an appointment for the next day and, if fact, they called back and were able to come that same day. They did a fantastic job, going above and beyond to touch up a few areas that they did not charge for. I was given a price over the phone and I needed one more screen. They replaced that one as well. Pricing was fair. Would highly recommend their work and company. The workers/owners were extremely professional

It went very well. Todd and Travis were here on time and got to work immediately. Todd was able to fix/repair some things that I asked about. 3

My experience was great, from dealing with the office to the installer. They were very professional and did a great job. I had privacy screen put in the two panels by a drywall wall to prevent it from getting wet. And also to have privacy while in the hot tub. I had them install super-screen in the rest of the panels as I have cats and dogs. I also installed a large dog door. All in all I'm VERY happy.

Not sure where to begin but my parents old supper gutter needed replacement and this company had good reviews, and the quote was in line with the other competitors, however we regret our choice. The installer seemed to have reservations about doing the installation but it was completed and after the first rain, there were multiple leaks from the gutter. we called and the installer came back and "sealed" all of the bolts and fasteners that were NOT sealed from the installation. after more rain the gutter seems to be overloaded with water as it is over topping the gutter. the gutter is also not pitched correctly as all of the water is being diverted to one side of the screen enclosure. we called and they said someone would come out to review the situation. another call was made to confirm the appointment and the owner, Alan got on the phone and was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL to my elderly mother..... his words are "we are done with you" and he hung up!..... this is very upsetting to my mother and very disturbing. This man should not be in business if this is how he treats his customers. We feel we were cheated and scammed by this company. BEWARE, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. the owner is RUDE and CANNOT have a normal conversation. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB as a starting point.
