Jamie and his assistant did an amazing job on our small project. They were extremely professional and prompt and would recommend anyone needing window tinting to go with them! First rate, guys!

We received an almost immediate response to our request. Jaime Fernandez and his assistant completed the work in a professional and expedient manner, yet were friendly and anxious to please. We were so happy with their work that we will have them do an additional larger project for us.

Service and workmanship was excellent and quality of materials was excellent. The new film on the windows is beautiful and makes such a difference from the old torn and scratched film. Jaime is very knowledgable and demonstrated the heat reduction that I was able to gain with the new film. I didn't realize the huge benefits of the film. I will definitely be contacting him again when I need my other panels repaired and will be recommending him to my friends.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I originally called Affordable and several other window tinting companies because our old window tinting (in our home) was old and damaged, so I really just wanted it removed and NOT replaced. The first few companies I contacted would only remove my old tinting if I purchased new one. When I spoke with Jamie at Affordable he said that sure he would remove only if that is what we really wanted. After he came out and looked at the job and quoted it, we also discussed further the advantages of keeping the tinting on the windows. There was never any pressure to replace it, but after we looked at the newer products that were out and their lifetime warranties and energy savings it just made sense to reinstall. On the day of installation, both Jamie (the owner) and his wife came and removed the old and installed the new tinting. What a great team they are. They were clean, organized, efficient and super friendly to top it off! You can feel comfortable leaving them unattended in your home. The windows look great also. Plus I have been converted from a window tint hater to a window tint lover!

When I decided to pursue my first home improvement project (off my list of many I hope to accomplish), I went straight to Angie?s List for recommendations. I started with a call to Affordable Window Protection because of the strong reviews. Our experience with this company has been outstanding from start to finish. Maryann returned my initial call within a day and came out to provide an estimate within a couple days. I was not sure how many windows I wanted to include, or what films would be appropriate, so Maryann provided the estimate in ?chunks? so I could mix and match once I decided. My #1 priority was to reduce the ultraviolet light that had damaged my carpets and blinds. This would be achievable with any of the films as they all stop about 99% of those damaging rays. My next priority was to reduce the heat that comes it those windows when the sun is beating directly onto those surfaces. However, I had a grave concern that our lakefront view would somehow be diminished so I really struggled with which combination of films would best achieve all those priorities. Jaime and Maryann are extremely knowledgeable and offered great advice and direction, and even pointed me to several websites so I could research on my own. I spend a week contemplating the choices, but could not make up my mind. Jaime went above and beyond and offered to install 2 panels in one of the windows so I could compare two different films and evaluate different light levels over the course of several days ? and this was before I even signed the contract! This accommodation helped me narrow down my choices and helped me feel confident about my choices. On the day of install, Jaime and Maryann meticulously installed the films, exceeding even my very high expectations. I loved the work so much that I asked if they could add another 6 windows that same day, and they fit it in. I ended up picking two different films for different sets of windows, one higher end with a enhancing blue cast for my lake view windows, and another with a higher heat reduction value for the windows in the rooms that get absolutely baked in the afternoon. While I didn?t expect a huge decrease in cooling costs, I did notice a 7% reduction in my electric bill in the first full month vs. last year (despite a 3 degree higher average daily temperature). That seems pretty significant to me. Four weeks later, I LOVE my windows. My views are even more beautiful, the rooms are noticeably cooler, and I had the opportunity to enjoy an incredible experience working with this company. This is an amazingly talented and professional team that I can recommend without reservation. Thank you Jaime and Maryann for making my first home improvement project experience so outstanding that I?m feeling confident enough to start working on the next one!

Excellent service. Punctual and very professional

I am out of town for extended job training, so my girlfriend Laura is the one who contacted this company through their website last Sunday. They got back to her within hours, and set up an appointment to come to our home today. The work was just completed and Laura was so pleased with it, she called to tell me how it went and asked me to write a review on Angie's List. She said that Jamie called her this morning about 10 minutes before arriving and showed up on time. He brought different samples of tint and took the time to explain the different grades and qualities to her. He even cut up some pieces and held them up until she settled on the one that she liked. Our concern was that the new tinting on the window would not match the other tinted windows in the front of the house. A different company had told her that it wouldn't be possible to match the tint and we'd need to tint every window in the front of our house (turning a $100 job into a $500+ job). However, after re-tinting the window, Laura said she couldn't even tell the difference from the other windows. He also reassured her that the tinting has a lifetime warranty and will not fade, and gave her all the warranty information as well as care instructions. She said she was completely at ease and did not feel pressured at all. Jamie used a BTU meter of some sort (not sure what it was) to show her how effective the tint was at stopping heat in comparison to the tint on our other windows. He also honored the discount coupon for Angie's List members, but the price was already very affordable. We would definitely use this company again.

They showed up on time. They worked quickly but thoroughly. They were professional and polite. They did a great job. I would definitely hire them again.

Jaime provided a free estimate after speaking to him over the phone. He was prompt, courteous and friendly. The estimate was extremely competetive with the others I had gotten. After meeting Jaime, his honesty and sincerity immediately sold me. The installation was very professional. The work was completed on time, and my home was left cleaner than when they had started! After seeing work from other providers, I noticed that my windows were neatly and completely covered. There were no bubbles and the edges were cocked. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I have had my car windows tinted before but this was my first experience with home window tinting. I have 2 large windows that look out onto a parking lot and 2 windows with beautiful views of a golf course with greenery and trees. I was looking for privacy with all of the windows, but was very concerned about keeping the golf course windows as light and natural looking as possible. Mary Anne came out to give me an estimate. She brought different films with her so I could get an idea as to what they would look like on the windows and she was knowledgable and pleasant. She is an excellent sales person but I never felt pressured. The estimate she gave me was so reasonable that I decided to have all of the windows and sliders done. A deposit was not required and we scheduled the job for the following week. Jaime came out to do the installation and Mary Anne came with him to assist. Jaime went over the different films with me again to be sure that I would be getting the film that best met my needs. He was incredibly patient. We ended up using 2 different films on different windows They did an excellent job and I could not be happier with the results. I do not understand why everybody does not have put film on their windows. I highly reccomend this company.

Great quote based on my simple drawings and measurements I emailed him, came and performed the job at quoted price, showed up on time, very polite, you won't feel like you have to "watch" these great folks in your home... all good!

Everything was very professional. From the first phone call to make the appointment to put on the security film. They do a very good job in explaining and they have a huge variety of films. We can highly recommend them.
