Jaime is the type of contractor we wish they all were. Polite, professional, honest and does great work. When you find a contractor that has this many A ratings, it's good to find out all the positive reviews were accurate. It was a pleasure hiring someone that has a true "customer satisfaction is most important" type of approach. He's easy to do business with and is respectful of the homeowners property. As everyone should do, I verified everything he told me regarding the product he installed and the methods he planned to use. All his claims regarding the window film and installation methods were accurate and considered the industry standard. Nothing he said was embellished or exaggerated. It was refreshing to hire someone that I learned I could trust and offered his service at a competitive price. His great reputation is genuinely deserved.

The installer,who was also the owner,arrived on time and completed the installation quickly. He also gave us a price quote to do the glass and sliding glass doors in the rear of the townhouse.

I search the internet to find someone to do this job professionally with quality materials. I did not want to attempt doing this job myself, especially that the materials sold by retailers was not as good as those used by professional installers. I came upon Affordable's web site then checked out their reviews on Angie's list. Virtually all who used them seemed to be happy with their service. Affordable does this for homes and business only. They do not do automobiles. I called and Jamie gave me a quote right over the phone based on the measurements I gave him. Their price was very reasonable. I set up an appointment to do the job. Jamie and Steve came precisely on time. They showed us several different films and explained the differences in each one. We chose the one we thought was best for us and they did the job in about 2 hours. They were meticulous in doing the job right. The film performed perfectly and is providing the privacy we were looking for. They told us the we will also save money on cooling costs. When finished Jamie gave us the lifetime warranty that the manufacturer provides and a "use and care" sheet. They told us that if we ever had any problem to call them and they would make it right. Overall we are extremely pleased with Affordable. They were honest, friendly and very professional. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing this job done for their home or business.

Jamie was very professional! Called in the morning to let me know what time would arrive, informed me of product, which one would look best for my windows. Got to work, was very neat, cleaned up and gave me my warranty. Very good experience and was very nice to my dogs who barked at them a lot of the time!

I always get three quotes for bigger jobs, in this case I got three bids within $200 dollars of each other and choose this company as they were very fast with the quote, did a quality presentation and brought samples as I asked for. We set a day to do the work within a week of the initial quote, they were on time, called to let me know they were on the way. The job was done faster then promised, the three of them were a pleasure to work with and the work was exemplary. I could not have wanted more. They cleaned up went over the warranty details . We recently installed central air and needed to have the large picture window in our living room and some bedroom windows tinted. Spoke with Affordable by phone and was quoted a good price. Jaime came out at the agreed to day. He was prompt and very professional. He brought samples and reviewed the options with me. He performed the service, took his time and came back a second day to complete the job. From start to finish, this company provided the highest quality service. I wish all the companies I have dealt with were this good.

Just like the first time the work and the results are nothing short of fantastic!! Not only did Jamie and Steve go above and beyond AGAIN, they even showed how this film was tax deductible. The difference in heat from before and after has already paid for itself in 1 A/C bill. Granted I have a large home (3000 sq ft) but even if you have a condo this is worth it. Privacy, cooling and lower bills; I couldn't ask for more. The guys left my place better than when they found it. They even replaced books on a shelf and rehung my blinds. Great work guys!

I called Affordable window tinting because they had so many reviews and they were all positive. They came during the window period promised and even made an extra call when they though they would be late due to an accident on 95(they weren't late). They took their time, showing me my possible selections. The job looks good and I am very satisfied.The tinting was of higher quality than the one I used to have and even comes with a lifetime warrantee

Mary Ann came out, measured the southeast and southwest facing windows and sliding doors. She provided a price which was excellent. Within a week everything was installed. The installation team was neat and professional. I would certainly use these folks again

I purchased the Angie's List special for $175.00 for home window tinting. I called to schedule my appointment and I spoke to Jaime. We confirmed an appointment time, to go over the available tint screens and to do the installation. Jaime called about 30 minutes before our appointment time to let me know he was on his way. Jaime and Steve showed up on time for our appointment. They then explained and showed me the different types of tints I could use in my home, with all of the advantages and disadvantages for each screen. I asked if I could use different tint screens within my home, based on the window location and Jaime was more than happy to accommodate my request. After deciding which tint screens would be used in my home, Jaime and Steve quickly got to work and started the tint installation. They were both very friendly, professional and courteous. They completed the tinting in about 2 hours and the windows looked great. You could already notice a considerable temperature difference in my home once the tinting was installed. I am very happy with the product and the service that Jaime and Steve provided. Thank you for a great job!

First, a quote and sample was provided by Mary Anne, who began the process by calling ahead, being prompt, and presenting several choices in a professional and friendly manner On the scheduled day, Jaime and assistant Steve arrived on time and worked two full days, carefully removing old tint and cleaning and applying new. Their pleasant, friendly demeanor was matched by how carefully they worked and treated my home and furnishings. The superior quality of their work and materials included cleaning up when finished, re-attaching the blinds and leaving the house like they found it.. The care they showed was like having 2 good friends do the work. I wouldn't think of hiring anyone else to do my tint work.

They came out to do an estimate and about a week later they came out to do the job. We are an animal hospital and they were taking off the old tint up front in our receptionist area and putting on new tint. They had to work around our clients and our clients' pets'. They were very respectful and accomodating. They cleaned up after everything was completed. The tint looks great and we would definately use them again.

Excellent the two were very friendly and explained everything they were doing and also made sure they contacted me when they were coming. I am very pleased with the service and the time it took them.

When they came over for estimates, they gave us professional service and GREAT pricing on safety and solar film. After we agreed on the price, Jaime came over and started the install. It took two days to do all of my house and Jaime came and told me that one of the windows was not coming out right because of the colonial style window that it was. He told us that he would come back and re-do it again since he ran out of window safety film. As promised he did come back and re-did the work and it looks beautiful. He treated my house as if it was his own. AWESOME. I would use him again and highly recommend his services.

Contractor responded to initial phone immediately , set appt time and date. Sales person arrived on time, surveyed all windows offered pro and cons of all tints available. I agreed to pricing and scheduled installation within 3 days. Installer arrived on time and began work. The projects was fiinished the same day. The work was professional and precise. A truly pleasurable experience!

Arrived early - very nice & pleasant & efficient! They knew what they were doing!

I wanted to tint all the windows in my home.. Not knowing what to expect, I thought the price would be alot to do the entire house, so I originally planned to do the tinting in parts. I searched on Angie's List and came across Affordable Window Protection. Their reviews were stellar so I decided to give them a try. I contacted them for a quote on tinting only 7 west facing windows. I provided a rough idea of what I wanted to achieve, block solar heat without having a mirror effect. Almost immediately, I had a return email from Jaime Fernandez. Jaime was courteous and informative and asked me to give him measurements of my windows. I provided the measurements on a subsequent email and Jaime responded with a price quotes for four different types of tint in different shades and materials. He provided an explanation for each tint and provided information on how much heat the tint will block. The pricing for the 7 windows was ALOT lower than I expected! So, I asked Jaime to give me a price for all 18 windows in my home. Again, Jaime responded immediately and provided the quote for the 4 different types of tint. I though the price was excellent. It was lower than what I had originally imagined and allowed me to stay well within budget. Next, Jaime wanted to show me the tint samples so I could decide on a tint. Jaime made the trip from Weston to Homestead... Folks, this is roughly a 50 mile drive, ONE WAY! Jaime showed up, on-time, and proceeded to show me samples. I asked him if he could possibly install 3 small samples of the different types of tint on one window so I can see the difference over a week. Jaime had no issues with this at all. He installed three different samples on one pane of glass and asked me to call him with which one I wanted to go with. About three days later, I emailed him my choice and we set the install date. On the install date, an issue occurred that prevented the installation. Jaime had already drove 50 miles south to my home. Again, being the type of person he is, he was extremely understanding and resolved the issue for me. I did not expect a company to resolve the issue the way he did.. He resolved the issue with results that went over and beyond my expectations. The problem required me to select another type of tint which needed to be ordered. Jaime ordered the tint and we set the install date for the end of the week. On the second install date, Jaime made the third trip to my home. He promptly went to work with his wife. These two individuals are an AWESOME and EFFICIENT team! One preps a window for the second to come by and install the tint. These two have a routine that flows like a well-oiled machine. You can instantly see that these two are professionals within their field. Jaime and his wife arrived promptly at 10am and finished my home at about 5pm. They did not take a lunch and worked continuously without pausing for a break. Amazing and rare in the contracting world.... After the job was completed, Jaime walked me through the after care for my new tints. These tints come with a Lifetime Warranty against glass breakage, crazing, cracking, delaminating and adhesive failure! This was a HUGE plus for me! Jaime made sure I took a picture of the tint box that contained information and serial number for the tint. He also left me a copy of the manufacturer's warranty as well as the after care instructions. In all, Jaime had an excellent presentation, installation and closing. He and his wife are naturals at customer service!! They have this aura to them that makes them instantly likable and trustworthy. I had no issues with them in my home and I certainly did not feel as if I needed to watch them as they traveled about in my 2,750 sq ft home. The end product was a great tint installed by a professional team and within my budget.. It does not get better than that! Did I mention that Jaime drove to my home 3 times? This translated to over 300 miles back and forth on just my project... Will your contractor do that for you and never say anything about it? Chances are, no. Again, this is customer service at its finest..

This service couldn't have gone better. What impressed me first was that Jaime, the owner, responded to my initial email request for info through Angie's List promptly and we were able to set up the whole thing through email. He saved me the trouble of setting aside time for the measurements for the estimate by having me just provide him some "close enough" measurements through email. I got a satisfactory estimate and we then proceeded with scheduling. Again, he was very accommodating to my difficult schedule. He arrived right on time and completed the work promptly. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to recommend them.

I contacted Affordable Window Protection by phone for an estimate on window tinting for 3 large sliding glass doors off my family room. The service person, Mary Ann was courteous, knowledgeable and was able to give me an estimate based on the measurements I provided. I decided to have the work done. Mary Ann indicated that she would check the schedule and call me back to schedule an appointment for installation. As promised, Mary Ann called me back within a few hours and we were set to go. The appointment was scheduled for 3:30-4:00 PM. At 2:30 PM, I received a call from Jaime indicating they were running ahead of schedule and could them come earlier. I was home, so that was great for me. I hate when people are late for appointments. Or, even worse, don't show up. Jaime and Steve arrived early as promised. They showed me different tint options. I made my selection and roughly 2 hours later, the work was complete. Extra care was made to protect the carpet and floors. A tarp was put down. All waste materials were collected and removed from my home when they departed. Excellent, efficient, reliable and friendly. I'm considering additional tinting and would definitely use Affordable Window Protection.
