Jamie was punctual and professional and did an excellent job in the installation. He made several suggestions on what tint would be best for each window. I ended up adding several windows to the project amd he stayed late to complete the job.

Jaime was great. He installed security film on 2 sliding glass doors for my parents condo. The work was done efficiently, and of high quality. I would def recommend if you are concerned with security. Armorcoat 8 mil as the way to go.

I chose the popular tint that Jaime recommended which is hardly noticeable on the windows and cuts out 60% of sun glare and 99% of UV rays. It isn't shiny or dark and really helps with the glare and bleaching out of floors and furniture. It should pay for itself in lower A/C bills over time. Jaime was very professional, knowledgeable and spent hours doing a thorough job. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with lots of windows and a set of sliding glass doors. He charged me $370 for tinting all the windows and sliding glass doors in the condo.; I used to keep my curtains closed until 2 pm in order to avoid bleaching out the floors and furniture. Now, I can open up by noon. I face east and the sun is very strong. I don't have window treatments for the sliders or guest room yet. I won't worry about bleaching out whatever I get with the windows tinted. It is a good investment and money well spent. It will help save my floors, furniture and window treatments from being ruined. My windows and sliders are very old, if I had newer windows the savings would be even more, But, buying tint is alot cheaper than buying new windows.

Overall a great experience. They were quick to return my original call for information. After providing estimated measurements of the window panes, they had a quote to me within an hour. They also mailed us samples so that we could put them up on our windows and decide which product would work best for us. I called them up after receiving the samples and scheduled an appointment for a few days later. The day before the appointment, they called to confirm the time that they would be arriving, which I appreciated. The next morning they arrived on time and ready to work. Overall the work was done very well. They meticulously cleaned each window, transferred my ADT stickers to the outside of the windows and then installed the tinting one by one. Throughout the installation they checked with me to ensure that I was happy with the product. The best part was that the installer showed me the BTU ratings on the windows both before and after the installation and the drop was very impressive. I am looking forward to the next sunny day to see just how much cooler they will keep the house!

Jaime, himself installed tinting on two very large windows with maximum heat reduction film. I found his name on Angie's list to report a problem with one of my windows where tinting was installed years ago. Jaime discovered that the tinting was put on incorrectly and right there, fixed the problem at no charge. I was so impressed, I ordered more tinting from him. He showed up on time and installed the product at a reasonable price. I'm writing this review a month later after noticing a real reduction in air conditioning costs directly attributable to his heat reduction tint on my west-facing 7 foot high windows. What a difference! What a great service!

Excellent experience. I did my homework and got two other quotes after supplying the square footage for the job. One of these was more than twice what I paid Affordable. When I called Affordable I spoke with Mary Ann and she was knowledgeable about the process and time frame. She fit the installation into my schedule and it was done in under a week.We discussed the Angie coupon ($195 for $500 of work) and she could have easily talked me into $500 to $600 which was one of the quotes I got; she did not and offered an excellent price. Jamie came to do the installation before it was scheduled (he called ahead to insure the time was ok) and spent the time to educate me about the film types including putting examples on the glass so I could see how they looked. Job was completed and the windows look great!! Can't beat a fair price and great job with knowledgeable and friendly people.

How many stars can I add to this??? A++++++++++ absolutely the best professional we have had come to our house! The work was done on the spot, awesome price and every step of the procedure and information regarding all options were explained clearly! Honestly I am so happy to have found someone this reliable and good at what he does! Jaime will be coming back if we decide to add protection film to our other windows. I highly recommend Jaime and this company to anyone who is even thinking of window protection film for their house, condo or apartment.

I have to say that I had posted a bad review as I had not heard anything from them but that changed. It appears that my photos for an estimate definitely did not get to them as they followed up with me right away and did an EXCELLENT job. The follow up and professionalism was incredible and I am thrilled with the work that Jamie performed. I most definitely will use them again and recommend them. It is very odd especially in South Florida where someone goes out of their way to make things right. I definitely understand things happen and they certainly are all about the customer. AWP was responsive and professional. The installation was performed after selecting the appropriate tint for the windows and the installer confirmed the desired pattern, was quick and very clean.

They were a pleasure to work with. Mary Ann was very friendly and knowledgeable. She came and measured windows and gave a fair estimate. The day the work was done, they were prompt. They removed old film, prepared windows and then applied the new window film. They even caulked a window that needed sealing, as well as they caulked a board in the ceiling that was loose, both without charging extra. They were very positive and enthusiastic during the whole process. I would heartily recommend them to anyone who needs windows tinted.

It is nice to have meet Mary Ann and Jaime. In my opinion they are both professionals in this field. Mary Ann gave me a good demonstration on how the tint works. Outside she showed the differences between the film types with a meter that measured the amount of sun energy rejection. As for Jaime, he was by himself the day of the installation. He completed, what I considered a large job (half of the windows on my house) in one day. On one window a redo was in order because he didn't like how it looked. After the job Jaime explained what to expect and what not to do to the tint until it cures. We liked the look of the film from outside and inside the house. We are planning to do the rest of the windows in the future. My (unscientific) measurement with a thermometer showed a decrease in temperature at the windows with the tint during the morning sun on the east facing bedrooms.

Our experience with Affordable Window Protection was fantastic. Jamie is reliable, does quality work, and is extremely trustworthy. First, we had our guest room doors frosted. I liked his work so much that I asked him on the spot to do our side windows on the front door, as well. Jamie was accommodating and did them right after. Since then, he has come back to do window tinting on several huge windows. Our overall experience with Jamie has been GREAT and I recommend him highly!

I recently purchased this home. It has 8 sliding glass doors that face west in the rear (all in one room). The sun and heat is very intense during the afternoon hours. I contracted to have tint / film applied to the door panels to reduce the temperature. Jaime arrived on schedule and finished the installation with in 4 hours. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process. No up front deposit was required. The price was very reasonable. So far there has been a noticble change. The a/c has not been working as hard as before to cool the home. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I just moved to a new house and because many windows and doors were facing directly east or west, we would have a difficult time keeping cool in the mornings and the afternoons. Mary Ann came out and gave me an estimate and I was very pleased with the number she came up with. We signed off on the estimate and scheduled the work for July 3. However, I told Mary Ann that I had a flexible schedule. I got a call on June 26 from Jaime letting me know he was available to do the work that day. Jaime and Mary Ann showed up on time and got started. They cleaned all the glass before applying the film. I chose to go with a 35% film and I could feel a difference in the heat as they finished each window and door as well as a reduction in glare from outside. When they finished applying the film, they cleaned up and gave me instructions on how to care for the film as well as the warranty information. Overall it was a great experience and I know this is going to help with my a/c bill.

We love the huge difference the film made to the temperature in our home! The main area of our home gets sun all day, which in the summer means it's hot, even with the a/c running. Mary Ann arrived over the weekend and provided us a quote, and was able to schedule her team to come out the following weekend. Jaime was great to work with and has great attention to detail. We've already had them come back to provide quotes on the rest of the house and hopefully we'll have them back soon for more work. Thumbs up!
