They did an excellent job. Mary Ann met with us, and based upon our goal of being able to open up the blinds during the day and maintain privacy without darkening the room, and cut heat and UV rays down. She helped us select the best tint. She was very patient, and allowed my wife and I to take our time asking many questions. Once we selected the tint, the installers arrived on time, were very professional, and did an excellent job. They cleaned up as they went along. They finished after a few hours. I was impressed by how efficient and how well they did their work. One note for others considering installing tinting. During my reading, I discovered that if light coming into a room is less than 24%, the brain perceives this as being "dark." This information helped us pick the right tint, and we steered away from a 20% tint. Mary Ann helped us select the Dual Reflective 25 which had a low reflectiveness inside the room, but was reflective on the outside so we could maintain our privacy. We have had the tint now for about a month and found that this company was the perfect choice. I am a very picky consumer, and I would recommend this company highly.

Mary Ann called me quickly after receiving my email through Angies list and we scheduled a visit. She was punctual, professional, kind and spent a lot of time answering our questions over the best tint for the rooms. As scheduled Jamie came and did a great installation job, very precise and clean. The Apartment is now so much cooler!! The film not only reduce the heat giving us more comfort and savings!!!, but also protecting everything from the damages of UV radiation including ourselves. Thank you so much. We met with Mary Ann for the initial consultation. She was punctual, professional and spent a lot of time with our questions over the best tint for our various rooms. Jamie and Jim applied the tint- they did a wonderful job, very thorough, precise, clean and the best personalities to have in your home. The home is soooo much cooler! Should have called them a long time ago. We definitely recommend this company, they were a pleasure to work with.

Mary Ann was very helpful, suggesting what was best for our situation. She made sure the film we wanted was available and setup an appointment for the installation. Jamie was very professional and friendly while doing the install. He even helped clean the high soffit while he was setup with ladder. The windows look great and we are very pleased.

They were both so nice and very fast. I couldn't decided if I wanted the darker or lighter tint, Jamie installed the darker tint on one window that I knew I did want it on so I could see if I liked it... I did and went with the darker tint on all the windows. There was an immediate reduction of heat when the first piece of tint was installed. I was amazed and am looking forward to saving on my electric bill. Now that I don't have to keep my blinds closed all day, I can enjoy my view of the lake behind my house.

Immediate reduction in heat entering the house ! Much needed privacy was provided from the tint as well ! Maryanne and Jaime were a real pleasure to work with. We were extremely comfortable with both of them in our home and the installation and cleanup was great. The estimate was done very promptly and we were shown the differences in the film. Mary Ann was very knowlegeable and helped us in determining what we needed. Jaime came out and installed the film on the windows and informed us on how to clean/maintain them. He did a great job, the windows look great, we are very pleased with the product and their service. Maryanne and Jaime came together to give me a quote. They actually gave me quite an education about window tinting. They took the time to make sure I choose the right tint for my needs and made sure I was comfortable with my selection. Jaime and his helper worked exceptionally well together. My windows go up about 22 feet so scaffolding was needed to tint the upper windows. This was a two day job and each day they arrived at the expected time and accomplished just what they expected to each day. They were very neat and at the end of the day left everything neat and orderly. The tinting looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Maryanne came out to our home today (on a Sunday) with installer Jaime and both were pleasant, informative and just very helpful in educating us on the different types of films in the market, applications and warranties available. The initial communication was rocky but clearly a miscommunication. Their quote was a bit higher than I expected however, I am confident that the film, installation and warranty they will apply to the job will be well worth it. You know the old saying... you get what you pay for!!! It was clear these guys know their stuff and that this company will be in the industry for the long haul. We are extremely pleased with the service we received from Affordable WIndow Protection. Mary Ann was our first point of contact. She was very responsive in scheduling time to measure, discuss various options - manufacturers, types of film and ranges of protection that each offers and tradeoffs. Once we made a choice, Mary Ann was able to schedule an installation date with Jamie that was very convenient for us. Jaime was very punctual, he covered the floor, brought his own garbage container and thoroughly cleaned up the area. While he was working he was very polite, friendly and meticulous.

Let me start off by saying that my fiance and I just purchased our first home a little less than a month ago. The whole process has been very exciting but very stressful to say the least. Dealing with Maryanne and the technician who installed the tint was a breath of fresh air. I called Maryanne on a Monday morning and she was at our home that evening to discuss our options and give us a quote. I couldn't believe how quickly she was able to fit us in. Maryanne took her time with us, explaining each of our options without pushing us in direction or another. She also took a personal interest in us and wanted to hear all about our wedding and the new house. She made us feel at ease and comfortable the entire time. We decided that night that we would go with Affordable Window Protection and the following Tuesday the installation was done! My fiance was home at the time of the installation and was very pleased. He said the technicians arrived on time and walked him through the whole process. They even tested the level of heat before and after the installation so he could see the difference. Overall, we had nothing short of a perfect experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to tint and/or protect their windows. Maryanne made what otherwise could have been another stressful thing on our list totally stress free!

The technician arrived on time. He was very pleasant. Was very careful moving furniture. Explained how to take care of the new window tinting. Went over the warranty. He even caulked around the edges of the tinting. It looks fantastic! I should have done this years ago!

Affordable Window Tinting was GREAT. This was my first experience with Angie's List and using a recommended company. But with all the great reviews on Angie's List I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. The consultants arrived right on time and even called 15 minutes before to confirm they were on the way and would be on time. Jaime, the Sales & Service Consultant, and his associate were both friendly and courteous. They worked efficiently and were professionals from the moment they walked in my condo. I thought my windows were scarred and damaged, and that I would probably have to replace the windows at some point down the line. But once the old film was removed and the windows cleaned, I was shocked to see what great shape my windows were actually in. The scarring, and what looked like discolartion in the glass, were all from the old film. The job was finished in a little over 4 hours and the guys did not stop once. They did a wonderful job, and I am so pleased with my windows. Plus I just received my electric bill for last month and it is about 25% less than what I have been paying each month. I am sure the reduction is because my air conditioner has not been kicking on so much because my rooms now retain the cool air because of the new film. I happily recommend Affordable Window Treatment to anyone who wants a job well done.
