When you use Google to search for a local locksmith company, you may be surprised to learn that most of the companies listed are anything but local. Many of the locksmith companies found on search engines are out of state individuals posing as local, legitimate locksmith companies who subcontract to unlicensed and insured individuals posing as master locksmiths. This epidemic is not new in the US, Canada and even Europe. locksmith associations such as ALOA (Association Locksmith Of America) across the nations are putting in much of their time, efforts and resources to fight back against these impostors or more commonly referred to as scammers.
What sets us apart from other locksmith companies is that we have a physical location you can visit, we are fully licensed, insured and we use the best and latest in key machine technology and locksmith tools to get the job done right.
He came out and put a new deadbolt in for the front door and customized the lock to match the keys we already had so both doors keys still match. What a relief! Would definitely call them again!
Description of Work: Our front door lock stopped turning and we found ourselves locked out of our home. We were able to get in through the side door and scheduled him for the very next day.

Requested a quote for a new 2013 Mini Cooper Key fob, and metal key on a Sunday through Yelp. They responded super fast within minutes a quote of $200 plus $12 sales tax. On the following day Monday, they were able to get the job done within a half-hour. The dealer quoted me $367, and I'm not sure that included the metal key too. Saved a lot, thnx Nir!
Description of Work: Needed a new 2013 Mini Cooper fob and metal key.

They arrived promptly and called before they came so that I would know to expect them. They covered their work shoes with booties and were very professional. They brought with them the handles that I ordered from them on my first consult meeting with them. They were delivered wrapped and boxed I was very pleased with their work and will use them again.
Description of Work: I had to install new door handles for my double doors to the entrance of my house. I purchase from them new door handles I needed two and the installation and they rekeyed all my other entry doors as well. I had gotten other prices for the same things and they came in almost at $1,000.

Description of Work: I called Smiley locksmith to see if they could help me with my Key for my car, Mercedes Benz 500 SEL ignition key. They said no problem the gentleman would be there in a timely fashion. About 2:30pm 8/4/2011 he arrived with his son, He worked diligently to get my key to either turn to start or turn to remove ignition. During this time he broke the key off in the ignition, I proceeded to call the office and let them know what happen. I spoke to the owner Nir I believe his name was and he explained to me that was a hazard of the job assured me his worker was qualified. Through many failed attempts at getting ignition out. Richard the employee notified me he needed to go get another tool he would be right back, leaving his soon there. The entire time his son (whom I later found out was not an employee) worked on getting it out breaking two to three bits from the drill hammering away at my ignition. An hr. passed no call, I proceeded to call the business, and Tonya was extremely nice, courteous and professional. Told me she didn’t see him at shop if he wasn’t there call back in twenty minutes. 6:20pm I called she attempted to dispatch this gentleman with no avail. Meanwhile, I once again called and got ahold of the owner, who proceeded to give me excuse after excuse no apology, no phone call or anything. The employee Richard had left his soon no water nothing it was extremely hot out he was working very hard, the father never called to check on him. I called the father he never answered his cell phone. Approximately 735pm. The owner in his van and the father in his vehicle shows up. At this point in time I had no food past lunch past dinner and was very upset. I sat in the car my fiancé approached the owner in a nice fashion ( my fiancé is 5'3, the owner 6'3) He began to raise his arms walking toward my fiancé, in what I felt was a threatening manner, I got out of the car. I proceeded to say how upset I was I called shop 3 times and he began with excuses “I didn’t have the right tool so I had to go get it and the van for electricity, I called and spoke with my employee, Tonya and told her what was going on. No one called me, His demeanor was totally disrespectful and never once apologized. I told him he wasn’t seeing a dime for the job and to get lost. He used a few gestures and bad language told the young son get in the car we are getting the F%&$ out of here, drove off left me stuck and totally destroyed my ignition. 5 stars I give -5 and -10.00 rating. The worst most disrespectful person I have ever dealt with. I ended up spending a total of 494 to have all the damages fixed and to get it towed. ** I will say that the receptionist, Tonya, was very nice and very helpful. She was the only pleasant part about this entire experience.
