I couldn't have expected anything better.

Shawn was very professional. I sent him a message at night, and he called me first thing the next day. He came out the same day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in about 20 minutes. He was punctual, responsive and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely hire him again for all my electrical needs.

Excellent! Sent an email Sunday night when we discovered the problem, and at 8:02am Monday morning, Shawn called me back to get more details. After buying the new doorbell chime equipment, I reached back out to Shawn and we agreed on an appointment time. The day of the appointment, he was on time and worked to allay our fears of any bigger issue and installed the new doorbell chime. Will definitely reach out again when we're in need of anything that goes beyond just connecting black wire to black wire and white wire to white wire!

I actually implemented his first suggestion and that night all was again well with the lighting. I might add it has been about 10 days and everything is working fine. I was very impressed that he took the time to discuss the many options and was not interested in taking a fee for his knowledge. It is astonishing in today's climate that there still exists people like him who go out of their way to accommodate the public, without expecting a monetary reward. I not only would use this company for any future issues that might arise, but gave his name and number to all of my friends. Thanks Shawn for being a wonderful and caring human being.

Unlike some other electric contractors that I attempted to contact, Shawn actually called me back the same day that I reached out to him and made an appointment to come to my house within a week (right after Thanksgiving holiday). He showed up exactly on time, quickly assessed what needed to be done and immediately got to work. He was professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He gave me an estimate of the time and cost up front and was actually able to accomplish the work faster and at a lower cost than his estimate. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Outstanding work on Shawn's part. On time both days, and work was extremely nice. Shawn took the time to make sure the three new pot lights lined up exactly with other existing pot lights. Shawn was a magician . he resolved all my issue where there was no way i could have fixed it. i brought in other electrical people to look at the problem . they all could not fix it. Shawn resolved hidden gfi switches in my house i did not even know existed. You really get what you pay for.

We had been told by other companies that getting the intercom system to work in the house we recently purchased was a lost cause and could not be done. Shawn is very professional. We went through my older home together discussing the upgrades and additions I wanted. He then emailed me an estimate detailing the work we discussed. A few days later, he came by with a sample of the LED lights he was proposing for the different rooms, so that I could choose the size and color. After the permits were given, he scheduled and completed the work. An older home poses some challenges, but Shawn never made them my problem, he made everything work. I am extremely happy with the work he did, it completely transformed my home. He and his helper worked quickly and quietly. I work at home and was not disrupted by their presence. The work took three days and at the end of each day, all the materials were stored away and the area was left clean. I have some future work that I want done and the only person I'll contact is Shawn. He was a pleasure to work with.

Called SC Electric for an estimate to install circuit breakers and upgrade the wiring for tank less water heater. Shawn said he could come by the same day to see the job. He arrived promptly and reviewed the situation. The space vacated by our old tank water heater was too small to accommodate a newer model. He suggested we make some changes to the piping and replace the old water heater with another tank heater. He called a colleague to obtain additional information regarding the plumbing portion of the project and confirmed that a tank water heater was a better option. We therefore no longer needed his service. He was professional, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend him.

I did not know what to do when power went out in both bathroom outlets. Angie's list gave SC Electric in nearby David all A's. When I called the niceman (didn't think to get his name) said he could probably walk me through the solution on the phone. I was not aware there was a reset button under the fuse box in the garage, but when I found it and pushedit, the power came back on in the affected areas. An easy fix when he could have come out to the house and charged me for a service call.
