It went great - Shawn is consummate professional and I really appreciate his professionalism. He was prompt to answer my initial inquiry, honest when he indicated he was running a week out, scheduled an appt a week out and showed up when he said he would. Knowledgeable about all things electric and got my needs addressed. In an area of country where it is status quo for contractors to exhibit none of these traits Shawn stands out. He is not cheapest game in town but worth every penny

Shawn arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. He was professional and responsive when contacted. He did trouble shooting for an electrical issue in my bathroom and added an additional light fixture in my kitchen. the price was much better than expected. I will definitely use him again.

Shawn installed the charger quickly and for a fair price. The problem with the dead circuit was figured out quickly. He provided an estimate for wiring a projector with video and audio wiring.

S. C. Electric, Inc. did a fantastic job installing a distribution box and reconnecting surveillance camera cables in the box. The cables had been left hanging through holes in the wall on the both laundry room and garage side of the wall by the installer. S.C. Electric neatly relocated the cables and even relocated one of the cameras which was placed in an awkward position. The sprinkler wiring was also repaired. All of the work was done in an extremely professional manner.

I highly recommend SC Electric. We had a very hard to trace problem with our main electrical supply to the house. Our power was flickering and going out unpredictably. I initially called FPL, but after three service calls from the power company, they told me that the problem was inside my house. Probably a bad breaker or panel. I called SC Electric and Shawn came out and carefully went over my panel and checked the condition of my breakers without discovering any problems. He looked at the main power lines coming into the house and pointed out that they were poorly attached and probably loose. He encouraged me to try the power company one more time before we went any further. FPL came out again and Shawn was right and they were finally able to fix the problem. Shawn's work is honest and fair. Rather than letting me throw money at a problem that was difficult to diagnose, he found the solution that didn't cost me anything at all. Highly recommend. I'll definitely have them doing more work on my house.

Shawn did an AMAZING job with all the ongoing electrical issues we have been having in our 1970s home. He was extremely punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and REALLY knew what he was doing! He took time to research our old panel box to determine the most safe & cost-effective means of fixing our issues. He was able to swap out the inside of our panel box & even found & fixed an issue that had been ongoing for years (a switch had been hit by lightning & had been causing random power surges for years...no other electrician bothered to listen to us & figure out what was wrong!). Shawn came recommended to us by someone else who had used him previously, and we didn't want to say anything to this person in case we weren't satisfied with the work...needless to say we called with glowing reviews & we are so happy our problems were fixed! I have had an electrician come out to install a fan/light in this bedroom 3 times and they have not been able to figure it out. I called Shawn in the morning given his A rating on Angie's List, he wasn't sure of his schedule but he said he would call me ... shortly thereafter he called to say he could meet in 2 hours. Thirty minutes before the appointment time he sent me a text to say he was on his way and on time (you have no idea how much I appreciated this!). I was home 15 minutes later, and he was already there waiting for me. He knew exactly what the problem was after a couple of minutes of trouble shooting and I had a ceiling fan/light for the first time in 18 months! Voila, just like that. I like the fact that A) he answers his phone B) he gives you a realistic time frame of what he can/cannot do C) he takes action on the service call D) is prompt and communicative E) does the work himself F) knows what he is doing G) was a pleasant personality to have in my home. I will gladly recommend SC Electric to anyone needing a reliable electrician.

Shawn was great. He confirmed the appointment through text several times leading up to the appointment and even offered to come a day early when he had an appointment cancel. He was patient and polite when working with an issue finding my location with the GPS. Very well organized. He was knowledgeable and was able to troubleshoot my problem. He was great!! He installed an electrical outlet, the bracket to hold up the tv, and the tv itself. He was super quick and quiet, and left the area clean. I would definitely recommend SE Electric!

Great. After they checked the wiring they found out there was nothing wrong with it, the problem was with the bulbs they were the wrong ones so they change them for the right ones. I was only charge for the service call.

Shawn, the proprietor, was responsive by phone and text and worked with my tenants to set up a mutually convenient time for the work. He accepted my credit card over the phone (also does Pay Pal). Even though this was a small job he had no problems fitting us into his schedule. The tenants both stated in separate texts that the electrician was excellent.
