Shawn contacted me shortly after I left a message regarding the need for work. He came out two days later. During the appointment he offered options to solve the issues, even ones that were less expensive. He did an outstanding job explaining the options and the pros and cons of each. We settled on the option we wanted and prior to leaving he confirmed exactly what the job would entail. Shawn showed up the next day and completed the job. Prompt, courteous and professional work. Hire Shawn if you need a trustworthy, talented and professional electrician.

I chose Shawn after mulling through many of the local electricians and reviews on Angie's List. All of the positive feedback is accurate. He was very professional, on-time and cleaned up after himself. He was very polite and let me know where he was going and what he was going to do each step of the way. He was very patient and accommodating with my back-and-forth thoughts/last minute changes to where the ceiling fan should be installed. It was especially great that Shawn was fine with my neurotic dog (that would bark the entire time if she couldn't be aware of what was happening) - he offered that I let her run about. In the end, I concur with the other positive reviews, and highly recommend his work.

Shawn was very professional and did an excellent job. He was neat and efficient. He arrived on time to provide a look at the proposed work and sent me an e-mail with a formal quote within 24 hours. I accepted the quote when he called me a few days later (Quote received on Friday before a 3-day holiday weekend). He told me he would call to confirm a work date early the following week. He called several days later to confirm a date between 8:30-9 am. He showed up a little after 8 am. He completed the job by 1 pm. I had scheduled another contractor to install shades in the garage the same day around noon. Shawn finished his work in the garage right in time for the shade installers to do their work. One of the ceiling fans required resetting the transmitter located in the fan and not just re-toggling the remote wall switch. Shawn was persistent in fixing the problem and finally got it to work properly. I also asked his advice on installing an electric tankless hot water heater to replace my electric hot water tank (16 yrs old). He was honest and told me he would not recommend getting an electric tankless heater for a particular brand he had been installing. This electric brand had problems which required the manufacturer to fix. My hot water heater is located outside in a wood enclosure. His recommendations would be to replace it with another tank, get a gas tankless heater if I had gas to the house, or carefully research other brands of electric tankless heaters to ensure they didn't have latent manufacturer defects reported. We also discussed the best location for a tankless heater based on my electrical needs. I highly recommend Shawn for any electrical work.

Shawn came over to the week prior to go over all of the tasks and provided an estimate later that week. This company sends invoices over email in PDF format which is a big plus in my book especially when you are dealing with so many tasks. Some other contractors I have dealt with lose track of all the items and are not as precise when providing invoices and estimates. We scheduled the work for the following week. Shawn and his assistant showed up promptly and got right to work. They were quite quick in accomplishing all the tasks and Shawn was very thorough and took care to make sure all work was done with high quality. He asked for my input as each task was beginning to ensure that all work was completed as I desired. He also showed me how to program the new sprinkler timer and how to troubleshoot the moisture detection device in case of failure in the future. As he tested the timer he discovered it was defective but he was able to swap it out the same day at no additional cost. I'm very happy he discovered the issue immediately otherwise it would have meant extending the work for another day. I wouldn't hesitate to hire SC Electric again as they are very professional, communicate thoroughly, and offer a fair price for their work.

I placed a call to SC Electric around 10a. I explained the issue and was told that I could expect a service call by 1p, since the electrician had just arrived at another job. I received a call at 12:30p and knock on my door just before 1p. The job took approximately 30 minutes to complete and I am thoroughly satisfied with the service that I have received. Highly recommend.

I called Shawn when my daughter and granddaughter lost power and heat during a cold snap. Shawn responded within the hour and did a temporary fix. FInished the job within a few days after locating a part. He was very helpful, mindful of cost and professional. I will definitely use him again. In fact I have already made an appointment for him to check my electrical system.

Sean knew exactly what the problem was and attended to it. I know I may have some problems down the line that will require more service. I will certainly call him.

The two guys called before they came over, which was really helpful. Once they got here, they were able to do multiple littlle projects in less than and hour. We thought they would have to replace our disposal, but they were able to clear the jam (a penny and a nail) and now it is as good as new. They were friendly and very professional.

I contacted this company to give me a quote for a new business I'm opening. He arrived 10 minutes early, which was great. Unfortunately, I had not yet signed the lease and had to wait for the maintenance person to open the store, which was supposed to be at 9:00. He didn't show, and I repeatedly called the leasing office but could not get ahold of them. I apologized to the electrician and told him please feel free to leave to go to another job. He said he could stay until 9:20. He left at 9:20 and said to call him if/when we got into the store. He called after about 20 minutes and asked the status. I told him it was the same and please go on to his next job because I didn't want to have to waste his time. He called again and I told him they were supposed to open the store in 5 minutes. He said "Well, I'll wait 5 minutes but then someone's going to have to pay me for my hour." I thought it was rude and unprofessional; I had apologized and told him not to worry about this numerous times because I didn't want to prevent him from going to his other jobs. He ended up coming back. The quote he sent was almost twice the two other quotes I got for the same job. I will not be hiring him.

Showed up at specified time replaced the receptacal and explained all the electrical dos and don't to me. I was very impressed and satisfied with his work. Definitely recomment

The electrician was very helpful asking questions as the the job started and along the way. I had mentioned the bathroom upgrade and he pointed out some features of that area which precluded doing what I had first thought. He cleaned up after himself and made sure I understood about printing out a coupon for a discount for his services.

Work was efficient and professional, and my wife said Shawn was pleasant and helpful (he advised us to replace the ceiling fans because of blades which tend to loosen). I would defintely use SC again.
