We couldn't be happier. Shawn worked within our schedule, arrived on time, was friendly, but did not waste our time. He worked in an efficient manner and cleaned up after himself. We had been avoiding getting these odds and ends done because we didn't know an electrician and wanted to use a certified one. The first time I called and explained my issue they were actually able to walk me through turning the breaker back off and on over the phone. The AC immediately came on. It worked for about a day and then stopped working again. I contacted an AC company who told me I needed a new breaker. I called SC again and had them come out. They said that there were no issues with the breaker and that it looked brand new. The issue was with the AC itself. I ended up having another company replace my AC and have had no issues since. They were so accommodating. It's no wonder that this family owned company has been in business for 30 years! Needless to say that in the future I would always use SC Electric.

Shawn is Fantastic! Initially I needed him to do some minor work in my kitchen, but was so happy that I had him mount my tv, hide the cables in the wall, change out my dining room lighting, add electric and a fan to my patio and add an additional outlet in my living room. He does excellent work, is very professional and gets the job done efficiently. I highly recommend him and have told all my friends about his work.

Everything went amazing. First called Shawn to check on some outlets that were not working on a home we had just purchased. He came out immediately and fixed the outlets. Shawn gave me a quote for a new flood light I wanted installed and a new GFI. Hired him for that job as well which was completed perfectly. Shawn’s prices are very reasonable and I consider him to be extremely honest which I value above all. Will definitely be calling Shawn for any of my electrical needs.

Shawn went through the process of eliminating the cause of the GFI tripping. He was punctual and very responsive to my initial call and when the work required a follow up. He was professional, polite and willing to answer my questions, even though I am sure he has answered them numerous times from other clients. I would definitely recommend him and very likely to call him again for any future electrical projects or needs.

Excellent. Sean solved the problem with the strobing light in about 20 seconds (wrong kind of light bulb). He identified another problem with one of the fans and he found a screw that had pierced a wire in another fan. He and Howard worked steadily and were friendly and professional. I would definitely hire S.C. Electrical again.

Sean was very quick to reply to texts or messages. He scheduled the work within the same week that I called. I live in a condo so he took care of getting necessary insurance certificate immediately. It was a difficult install due to the size and location over a large kitchen counter. The type of fixture had adjustable wires which also took a lot of time an effort to level. Sean and his assistant were very patient and professional. They did a great job and were very competent. It took several hours to remove the old fixture and do the install. Although pricey I think it was worth it to have it done so professionally. This was not an easy job.

SC Electric did a great job in finding a transfer switch conversion kit for our main panel, which provided a more elegant and cost effective solution for the generator outlet. They also did a good job in communicating when the power would be impacted during the installation, as well as the operation of the transfer switch when the work was completed. In addition, they handled the installation of the new outlet and other maintenance items in a very professional manner. I will definitely call SC Electric for my home electrical needs in the future.

Shawn from SC Electric offered free and honest advice to help me fix the outlets that weren't working in our bathrooms. Rather than charge me for a service visit, he gave me several tips over the phone that allowed me to fix the outlets myself by finding the circuit breaker switch that had tripped. Our community needs more honest and skilled people like Shawn, and I will definitely save his number and share it with my friends for any future electrical needs.

Shawn completed quality work. The repair was completed on time and on budget. He even fixed my florescent lighting in the kitchen at no charge. I had the bulbs in wrong.

Shawn was very professional. He texted me in advance of the appointment to confirm and kept me updated as to his arrival time which was well within the timeframe he provided. He completed the work, explained everything he was doing, and fixed the problems. I really don't have a reference point to say whether his prices are low, medium, or high, but what he charged me seemed fair for the time he spent and the value it provided for my home. I plan to use him again for another project. It's rare to find a contractor that shows up on time and does what he/she is supposed to do - this guy does.
