We are very pleased. Sean had to wire a new fixture (14 foot ceiling!) and center and hang a very large chandelier. He was quick and the fixture is perfect. Since it's the first thing you see upon entering our house, it was important that it was centered and positioned correctly. He also installed the switch in the place we wanted. Sean also changed out two other fixtures (again very high ceilings). He was obviously a knowledgable, experienced electrician and we would call him without a thought. As a matter of fact, we probably will be calling him back for some other work soon!

Shawn showed up exactly at the time he said he would!wow that's a great start. He gave me some great ideas and faxed me a proposal 2 days later. It was a very reasonable price and he was going to use the very best materials. I was very impressed with his professionalism and timeliness and he even called me two days after he completed the work to check if I was totally satisfied. What a nice surprise! I would recommend Shawn and SC Electric without hesitation. What a great experience. You will be very surprised by his attentive service

I cannot speak highly enough of Shawn Carreras professionalism, timeliness, quality of work! This is the third time I've called him for assistance and he has responded quickly and performed the work just as well every time. He takes the time to explain all the issues and what he is doing to address those issues without making me feel like a complete idiot. I have to say i will call him for any electrical issues i may have in the future and will recommend him highly to friends, family and neighbors.

I will never use any one else except SC Electric he deserves straight 10 if you want someone you can trust with the truth, Professionalism then call Shawn he knows exactly what he is doing, I liked how he wasn't afraid to look at the instructions that came with the Chime door bell he didn't just wing it. that shows me he's very concerned with what the manufacturer had to say... I was extremely happy with the final results he does require a deposit before doing the work which I'm find with that. I have more work for Shawn which he will be doing. Extremely happy I found a excellent electrician.

He took the time to explain the limitations due to the location where the work needed to be done, and was good enough to provide some options to consider, even though it was obvious I was going to have to postpone and rethink how I was going to complete my project.

Great! Sean did a great job. He was there exactly when he said he would be there. came in, quickly identified the problem and fixed a very dangerous situation I was unaware of. I would highly recommend his services.

Shawn was very accommodating with the date for the work to be done because he was really booked up he completed the work on a Saturday. His estimate was well written and included several areas I plan to change later. Initially I wanted 3 high hats in that area but when he began to do the work he realized he would not be able to install 3 based on the ceiling framing and AC vent. He gave me several options to help me figure exactly where to place the two new lights. Over all I was happy with everything but I felt the price was a bit high for having two lights installed.

Called Sean on Monday and he said he could be here after 1 on Tuesday, at 11 am he called and asked if he could come early. Sean showed up, looking very professional. I showed him what I wanted done, he laid it all it, called me before he cut so I could approve. In 15 minutes he had the outlet moved and installed. Total time at our house was 30 minutes. I work in the design and construction trade and will definitely recommend him.

I can only imagine of they would be if we had another miss understanding while on the job.... ONE OF THEY JUST WALKED OFF? Most unprofessional Service.

Shawn was really great to work with! He is very knowable and professional and went above and beyond to help me with challenging job. We have to move our electrical service and our neighbors electrical service underground and under a city road to accommodate a pool we are putting in the front of our house. A huge task that requires a number of different individuals. Shawn knew everyone at the city permitting office I had been speaking to and worked with them to put me in touch with everyone I needed to get the task done. Really appreciate all your time, research and help Shawn, you were a pleasure to work with!

Shawn had done work for me before, last month in fact. I was very impressed with his response and his work so I called him again when I noticed a similar problem in my hallway. I called him around 10AM this morning and he arrived by 1PM calling and advising his time of arrival. He did the required work in record time and everything works perfectly. For all your electrical needs call SC Electric. We found this company on Angies list and from start to finish they are the best. Shawn was extreamly professional and fast!!! We could get an appointment quickly and Shawn gave us a window of 3 hrs to let us know when he would arrive so we didn't have to wait home all day. Shawn called 30 min before his arrival to let us know he was on the way. We will use this company for any future electrical needs!!!!

I hired SC Electric after finding him on Angie’s List. He was prompt and efficient. I think the cost was a little high, but I believe his services are better than other electricians. They work turned out very good!

Shawn was great! He was very professional and completed the work very efficiently. Installed a ceiling fan, a chandelier, and replaced/upgraded electrical outlet covers. I would not hesitate to have him give us another estimate as he will be the electrician we call for our future needs. We got estimates from three different electricians and Shawn was the only company that charged for the estimate but we were very comfortable with paying for the estimate based on the great reviews on Angie's list. During the time he came to give us the estimate I was able to ask him questions and he explained exactly what I needed to purchase at the hardware store for the work we wanted done. He was also very flexible as we made a change at the last minute and he had an electrical outlet cover in stock that he was able to use instead of the one we purchased. I also like Shawn's company because he personally does the work, not like the other large companies where one person provides the estimate and someone else shows up to do the work.

Shawn was very professional as usual. This is the second time we have used SC Electrical and the level of service remains exceptional. He arrives on time, gets everything done in a timely fashion, and even went above and beyond to help me when other service people arrived at my home while he was working. We feel lucky that we found someone that we can trust for all of our electrical work and highly recommend SC Electrical to anyone looking for reliable service.

Shawn is a very professional and personable guy who takes pride in his work. Earlier this year, he had installed four ceiling fans, and installed my dining room and kitchen lighting. I called him again a couple of weeks ago to help me replace some closet, bedroom and under kitchen cabinet lighting. The led lighting that I purchased did not come with great instructions and the construction was not very intuitive or easy, but Shawn was able to figure it out quickly and installed it beautifully. I would highly recommend Shawn as an electrician. I will be calling him again if I have any additional electrical work.

Sean from SC electrical made the appointment for 12:00-2:00 p.m. Sean arrived at 10:45 am while I was meeting with another Angie's list vendor for an un-related service. I went outside and asked whether Sean could wait a few minutes. I also pointed out that our appointment time was between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. He said that if I had checked my phone messages and returned his call I would have noted that he called about an hour ago. He also said that in any case I had told him that I would have been home all day when the appointment was being made He said he has an appointment in Fort Lauderdale and he may check with me later. With that he shut the van door and drove off. During the entire conversation, he sat in his truck with the engine running and he made no effort to even pretend to act professional. He was extremely discourteous. I was so shocked that when I got back inside my house I called and told him to cancel any possible future appointment. I then checked the message that Sean left. It just said "Hey (name) I am headed your way. Make sure that someone is there. Give me a call back at......." I became a member of Angie's List on 9/24/13 and never expected this type of unprofessional service.

Shawn was awesome! He was punctual, calling before coming to ensure that we would be home. He was extremely efficient in all work performed, completing an amazing amount of work in a short time. He ensured that everything was in working order and clean after the work was done.
