Shawn is extremely professional and to the point from the moment you meet him. He is knowledgable and does not beat around the bush or waste your time. He was not the cheapest estimate we received but we felt he was the person for the job. Shawn did a great job working on our property updating it with recessed lighting, replacing all outlets and removing some old fans that were not up to code. He was great to work with and we highly recommend him for any of your electrical needs. We have a few more projects that will require an electrcian and Shawn is first on our list to call. We will def be using him again.

We called S.C. Electric to request an estimate for services as described above. Mr. Carreras set up an appointment, came on time and left the estimate within two days. We called the following week to schedule an appointment for the service. The day of the appointment, he came as scheduled. All work was done as expected. Mr. Carreras not only completed all work as described, but cleaned up after each installation. We will certainly be calling for all needed electrical work in the future.

Shawn answered my call promptly, arranged a time that was convenient for me and arrived on time. He did the job in about 2 hours even though it turned out to be a little more complicated than either of us expected. The cost of service was very fair and he was very professional. I would definitely use SC Electric again.

Shawn arrived on time and had everything ready to go. He put my mind at ease as a first time homeowner about many minor electrical issues around the house, and checked out anything I thought of. He was very nice and professional, even offering to sweep up some drywall that came off when he removed a switch plate. Overall, he made me feel that my home was safe and told me a few things I could do further, such as checking lightbulb wattages, to make sure it was as safe as possible. I will definitely use him for any bigger jobs that come up in the future.

Shawn was incredible. He took a lot of time out to talk me through the most efficient way to get FPL to work with me and my chosen electrician to get my power back on. He also verified that the prices I had received were fair, and didn't in any way try to undercut or steal business from someone else. Would absolutely use Shawn in the future.

It took awhile from getting the initial estimate until the job was completed, but that was mostly due to the combination of it starting in the holiday season, getting things coordinated with a siding project that was going on at the same time at my house, getting a permit and coordinating things with FPL. But Shawn is extremely professional in his approach and easy to talk to, even for someone like me that doesn't understand much about electrical codes and such. The day he replaced the breakers required the power to be off in our house most of the day, but he got us back up within a half an hour of what the thought the length of the job would take--no unhappy surprises there. There's some further projects I need to have done, and I won't hesitate to call him for those in the future.

Shawn did a great job! He installed multiple ceiling lights, including relocating light boxes, rerouting lights to switches, and installing a chandelier requiring 600lbs rated support from ceiling. He took extra care on that last service ensuring the support structure in the ceiling would hold. It looks great, and his work left me confident that the chandelier is safe and secure. All that, and his team is extremely professional and courteous. I'll always go to him first if I have electrical issues taken care of!

We contacted SC Electric for landscape lighting. Shawn asked what was our budget, I said I did'nt know because we were looking for him to design the landscape lighting for our large property, extensive number of palm and oak trees, price it for us and let us know when he can start. He said: call someone else - so we did.

Shawn is very punctual and professional. Him and Damian were great. They performed the work perfectly and Shawn also pointed out a couple of things I wasn't aware of, that is very important to know when you have small kids. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that's looking for an amazing Electric team.

I contracted with SC Electric to install flood lighting at the rear of my home after receiving a comparable estimate by e-mail. Shawn had done work at my home previously, so he was able to determine the extent of this job. I wanted the flood lights to look nice from the outside and not look like an afterthought. The wiring was ran through the attic and the lights on either side of my house placed in a perfect position to receive light across the entire backyard without being intrusive to my neighbors. Shawn gave me a brief session on the operation of the sensor lights and the over ride switches, and the options available. Shawn always calls in advance of arrival, is on time, and uses his time efficiently. In addition, the guys are always respectful and clean up after themselves. A good experience each time!

It was a pleasure dealing with Shawn Carreras. He promptly returned my call to set up the appointment. He called prior to the appointment time to let me know he was on his way. Shawn and his assistant did not waste any time and started working immediately upon arrival. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend SC Electric, Inc. and will definitely use them again.

Shawn was very responsive to my phone call and worked to fit me into his schedule. On arrival, he went straight to work to change out the kitchen receptacles along the backsplash in my kitchen. He also checked a landscape transformer that had stopped working. He showed me that the box had its own breaker switch located on the back which had tripped. He checked the lighting and we discussed that if issues arose in the future the box may need to be changed and suggested at that time that it be upgraded. He gave the information so I could get a new transformer if I elected to upgrade. In addition, I was interested in putting flood lights across the back of my house. Shawn surveyed the outside and checked the attic to give me the best possible options for the lighting and look that I wanted to obtain. Having the information needed, he would then forward an estimate for the flood lighting project. Shawn is a fast worker, great at listening and offering options. He was never stumped for answers to issues and was very respectful of my time and property. Defintely an Angies List A+!

Shawn and his team responded to my calls and answered all my questions. He came to my home for no charge to quote the job and did a thorough review of what needed to be done. He looked over all the items that needed to be installed. He went into the attic to make sure he knew what he had to do up there. He provided me a quote that was reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I know this because I checked with other providers and he was right in line with costs. He came out and did all the work he promised he would do. He was on time, courteous and didn't leave a mess or damage anything. I was here while he did the work and he consulted me along the way to make sure he was meeting my expectations. There were no surprises, no last minute extra costs and no delays. He was great. He called before he came, he was on time, did what he said he was going to do and then did an inspection of my electrical panel to make sure nothing was tripped or that I needed to upgrade. He was great and I would use him again.

I was referred by a colleague at work who used S.C. Electrical work at her home and was delighted with the service and cost and suggested I use SC Electric for my repair. Based on that referral I contacted S.C. Electric. I was contacted within 24 hours so their responsiveness is excellent. I know the company does a good job, because I trust my colleague's judgement. I would not use them for small repair job, because of their pricing is scheme, is not for jobs that would probably cost under $200.00. I will look for a handyman who can do electrical repair work. Again, a good company to use for larger electrical jobs.

Shawn was a consummate professional! He and his assistant were always punctual! His prices were fair and the work done was the best quality. They were also neat! We're not done with him yet so don't keep him too busy! :-)

Very friendly, professional man. He took pictures of the exposed wires that were in the attic for me to see. Trusthworthy guy. He ran a little over the 1 hour mark and only charged me for one hour of work. Fast worker.
