Description of Work: Replaced the 25 year old windows and sliding glass doors in our condo with hurricane impact resistant windows.

Description of Work: We had all the windows, sliding doors and two exterior doors installed on our home with hurricane impact products. We had been shopping for replacement windows for a couple years and had gotten estimates from one of the larger companies in town. I found S&R Glaziers by accident driving by their business close to where we live. Kathyrn, the sales rep in the showroom was very friendly and knowledgable, showed us and explained the differences in the different products and manufacturers. We had particular issues with styles and cost that she was able to provide the answers. She also told us of the history of the company and the owner, Sal, and we returned a number of times before we decided to have them come out for measurements. We also worked with the owner's wife, who did the scheduling. Their estimate was fair and less than we had received from one of the larger window and door companies. One of the main influences was also their product for one of the locations we were going use it, the front window, was a better looking and more substantial appearing. We also were able to visit two of their customers after their windows were replaced and were impressed with the quality of their workmanship. The order arrived within 6 weeks and they were able to schedule installation within a week. Four workmen, including the owner, came to install thh windows and doors. The installation took two days as Hurricane Sandy passed by off shore. They were very thorough in protecting our furniture from dust, covering all they could with plastic drop clothes, and vacuuming as they went along. There certainly was additional cleanup we had to do, but we ended up extremely pleased. Their work was great, finish job was wonderful, and we could not be more happy with the finished product.
