Pinecrest Plumbing

I have been using them for while. Robert Ferry took over this company when his father passed. He is very conscientious when hiring plumbers---they all do a great job. They are very reliable and quick!

The plumber got here on time. He examined the sink and disposal, then tried to fix it by running the disposal without water. After a few minutes, he concluded that we needed a new disposal, which he did not have on the truck. He advised me to go to Home Depot and purchase one, and then call them for a second service call to install it. Because it was only about 15 minutes into the visit, and he said the company charged for an hour minimum, he took a look at the sink. The faucet took him forever to get out, and he scraped around it ineffectively with a pocket knife, and said I needed to get a new faucet. Then, he went to look at the toilet, and said I needed to buy a new valve kit, advising for the third time that I go to Home Depot and call Pinecrest again when I had all the parts. He had been there for 42 minutes, done nothing and charged me for an hour! This from a company that used to be heads and shoulders above the rest. Too bad they've taken such a steep fall.

They had a little problem finding the problem when they came out, and so they had to do quite a little more work than I had anticipated. I might have gotten them off of Angie?s List initially, when I first used them. I would use them in the future.

I called this company Friday afternoon, Jan.23, 2009 and spoke to Dan. I told him that I have a toilet that was clogged. He said that he was busy the rest of the day and could come out Monday AM. He said that he would call me around 8:30 am. No call. I called his number at 9:10am and a women said that "he just came off the turnpike and would be in shortly." Apparently, he does not live locally. At 9:20am, I was called back and told that he could not come until after 11am. At that time I said not to bother and I would get someone else.

These guys are fantastic! They have been my plumber for years and have fixed drains, replaced water heaters, etc. They are prompt, efficient and always have a smile. Most importantly, I called them at 4:00 PM on July 3rd and they were there by 5:00 PM, which is amazing service for the start of a holiday long weekend.
