In early June, I called and spoke with Mike. I had a custom bathroom vanity (60") built by someone else who did a really bad job with it. I was looking for a cabinet maker to repair the cabinet so I could use it. Mike was very friendly and nice. He came out, looked at my cabinet and felt bad about what was installed in my bathroom. He said it would be a lot easier to replace the cabinet than to try and fix it. I told him I could not afford another cabinet, I just wanted this one fixed. He OFFERED to "build" one for me for what I owed on the messed up one and after some discussion we agreed. I knew that my cabinet would not be the highest priority and that it would be a couple of months before he could deliver and install a finished product. Over the next few months I visited his shop to select door styles and colors, I was pleased with the quality of the cabinets they were building in his shop. He made several promises concerning the completion date. He asked me to follow up with him each time, and each time, my date was pushed out. After several of these postponements, he agreed to install my cabinet in late September. A couple of days prior to the installation date I called to confirm and he "forgot" about me. After several phone calls (during these 4 months only 1 call was initiated by Mike) we rescheduled again. He explained that my cabinet "was not a money maker for him and he was, in fact, losing money on the deal" because he had to pay his installers to install it, "so I needed to be patient with him." I suggested that I could install it myself, thereby eliminating that expense for him, if he would just deliver it (since I don't have a truck). I never heard from him again and I don't believe he ever built the cabinet. I did not ask him to build this at cost or to lose money, he "offered" in exchange for a good report if I was happy with the vanity, which, based on what I saw at his shop, I think I would have been pleased.

I needed a new, custom double vanity to replace the old one. Lowery is very friendly and personable. Lowery works with a designer that comes by your house to measure and make drawings of a design. The lady that came to design was nice and her work (drawing) was good. However, when Lowery delivered the vanity there were/are many issues with it: The drawer-doors didn't line up and Lowery's workers had to come by several times to align them correctly by squeezing and bending them. Some doors were bent out of shape and were showing gaps on top and bottom. The paint used is cheap and comes off extremely easily. A lightly adhering scotch-tape takes off the whole paint. The workers used a felt pen to 'fix' some issues on the spot. Some drawers are hard to open/close. Some door hinges are missing screws. It seems that Lowery outsourced some work as drawers parts had labels of another company (those parts are actually good). Full wood construction revealed to be plywood with veneer (that is peeling off) Overall the quality of the work is poor and felt very sloppy and does not match the price level at all. It took many phone-calls to agree on an installation date. Lowery hardly ever initiated calls and always had to be called. In addition, the original design had a major flaw that was discovered at delivery requiring me to replace a 1000$ worth of countertop in addition to lots of rework. This flaw should have been discovered by this 'experienced' company from the start.

The workers were mostly on time, the only company not being very punctual was the granite company, but they made it up by doing great work and helping me to find exactly what I wanted. The ceiling company, Re-Nu Ceiling, was punctual, clean and fast. Coral Springs appliances was very helpful and I was happy overall with them. Millcreek and Lowery has done the most fantastic job, but mostly I am thankful for all their patience with me. I had many minor requests and they did not blink to accommodate my requests and were absolutely wonderful. They even redid all my doors, shelves and other things to match my new kitchen. I am so happy I finally was able to work with a company that was so uncomplicated, did what they said they would, and more, and made my dream of a new kitchen come true in such a fantastic way. They restored my faith that there are still reputable and honest people out there. It was a great pleasure and I really appreciate that they cared. Thank you
Description of Work: My house is an older home and it still had the original outdated kitchen form the 60's. I really wanted to get my kitchen redone for the last couple of years, but was dreading the usual contractor disaster. I did a lot of research and I had 6 other estimates for my kitchen project from high end to low end. Through another company, who I found on Angie's list, I found this company. Their design for my kitchen was totally different from all the others and they really put thought into it to make it unique and also practical. I was amazed at the drawings but could not imagine the end result. I especially liked that they were organizing all the other work, like electric, ceiling work, plumbing, granite and that I did not have to do all that by myself, which none of the other companies offered. They even recommended a great appliance place. Once the planning stages were final, it took only two weeks before the work was started. Workers were on time, professional and cleaned up after the job each night. Things went very smooth and every day something got done. It only took 3 weeks to get the old kitchen out, redo my ceilings and walls, get a complete new electric panel and get the new cabinets in. I was able to use my kitchen again after 4 weeks, which I thought was great, since I have heard of stories of months being without a kitchen. My kitchen has amazing detail, all custom work and incredible craftsmanship. I cannot believe the end result. It is like I have a whole new house. I absolutely love what they have done and cannot thank them enough for their hard work. I will absolutely use them again for future projects. I must also say that the price they quoted me was right in the middle of what all my other quotes were, but I ended up spending more, because of additions I did along the way. The other companies would not have done as much detailed and customized work as Millcreek and Lowery did. Therefore I feel the price was right on and I absolutely got what I paid for and much more. The pictures below will say it all, but the first one is from my old (before) kitchen and the other 3 are the (after) end result.

They were referred to me by a friend. Their work is absolutely wonderful. I would hire them again without hesitation and I am amazed with everything they did for me, including the courtesy and of course their finished job. It's truly great.
Description of Work: Recently, they removed my bathroom cabinet and they installed a new one that they made out of maple.
