 + -1 moreBob came today to take a look at our home, he gave us peace of mind by letting us know the house seems fine and the crack we had on the garage is normal as well as other areas of concern we had due to the house settling. He was very nice and helpful and I recommend their company and service. He even provided tips on how we can fix the area of concerns we had.
Description of Work: Came to inspect our house due to signs of settling.

 + 7 moreIt went pretty good in general. Bob is a true professional, I could always get him on the phone or get a call back within hours. Some neighbors were impressed and are thinking of hiring him for some other issues and improvements. If you're new to this, as I was, getting city permits and inspections can be grueling. Get things started as soon as possible so the workflow isn't affected more than necessary. Since I had Bob there, I thought of a few more things I wanted to get done in the house that were "doable" price-wise, since the workers were already there, specifically around the kitchen.
Description of Work: The floor of my bedroom started to sink in a corner and then it started cracking. When Robert (Bob) came over he showed me the wall was detaching from the floor as well, scary stuff. Not wanting to lose time, he gave me an estimate which was acceptable, let's face it, no one wants to spend money on repairs but when you have no choice, you want to nip it at the bud right away. That night he emailed me a formal quote and I hired him. A week later the work started, I thought it would be louder or messier but it was ok. A lot of structural repairs had to be made for this to happen. The job ended 6 weeks later (permits and inspections delayed the job the most) and now my room floor is flat again.
