+ -1 moreTheir price is competitive. The problem is they don't show up. We call them to follow up and they don't show up, they don't call back. They just put in the air conditioner, they're supposed to be making the money off with their service and they don't call back. They're just probably too busy down here, that's what they say, so they can't get deployed. I'd say it's too bad, because I wouldn't give them to somebody because they don't show up when you need them to show up. They show up but they don't follow through. They do a good job.

+ -1 moreCALLED AT 7:30 AM AND THEY WERE OUT BY 8:20! TECH CAME OUT PROMPTLY, CALLED 10 MINUTES BEFORE HE ARRIVED AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK. RECHARGED UNIT AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS A LEAK. DUE TO AGE AND CONDITION OF UNIT, REPAIR WAS NOT DONE. WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT IF THE REPAIR WAS DONE, IT WOULD NOT BE GUARANTEED DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF CREATING OTHER LEAKS. AS BAD AS THAT MIGHT SOUND, I GREATLY APPRECIATED THAT INFORMATION.(THEY DIDN'T TRY TO PUT A BAND-AID ON IT AND CAUSE ME TO POTENTIALLY RACK UP BILLS ON A SYSTEM OVER 10 YEARS OLD) TRYING TO MAKE A DECISION ON WHERE TO GO FROM HERE AND WAITING ON A QUOTE FROM THEM ON A POSSIBLE NEW SYSTEM.
Description of Work: A/C WAS NOT COOLING PROPERLY COOLING. POSSIBLE LEAK IN SYSTEM.

Description of Work: They came to the house within 24 hours of the call. The technician was very professional and explained what the problem was and provided additional information on how the system operated. I would highly recommend their services.

We had a prior company come out 5/30/15 and they told my wife that AC system was too old (2007 model) and we needed to replace the entire AC system for $ 3500 and rent a crane to hoist the new ac to our 3rd story roof. My wife did not trust what they told her and she asked our association manager for a referral and they recommended "License to Chill" out of Ft Lauderdale. They sent 2 technicians out 6/1/15 and they arrived at 6 pm as promised. They were polite and courteous. They diagnosed the failure due to wiring that failed and melted and pieces were missing in AC and some wiring hookups were never connected. The put new wires, installed all the wires and tested it and AC blowing cold! Cost $ 253.00 My wife and I are so glad we got a second opinion and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND "LICENSE TO CHILL" out of Ft Lauderdale! \
