LIBERAL FENCE SERVICE

I hired Albert on February 6th to build gates for me with a quote of 14000 dollars and wrote him a check for 1/2 $7,000 dollars he said it would take him 2 weeks to build the gates and the job should be done in 3 weeks. after the end of the 3rd week I called Albert and he said it was taking him longer then he thought and would be another 2 weeks. I never heard another work for 3 weeks. I started calling and got voice mail. left messages for him and he did call me back with saying he had a family emergency but assured me he was doing the job and tha he would have in the next week. I had asked for a picture of where the project was at and he said he would send it to me. Never received anything but lip service. I called and told him I had to turn over to the city or authorities and he told me a long story that he sub contracted the job and the guy left him hanging.. He assured me if I gave him a few more weeks he would make it right. It is now mid May and he hasn't returned calls or text. I have hired an attorney and filling a compliant with the city of Ft Lauderdale. I think that Albert might have played me for months and taking advantage of my kindness. Be careful he seems like a good man but just flat out taking $7,000 dollars for me. is nothing but a thief
