+ -1 moreMy family inherited several oriental rugs, silver and original art. We had no idea of value or uniqueness and did not know how to share them. I was referred to Sharon Kerwick. She gracefully offered to look at my items and let me know if anything was worth researching and appraising. She separated the silver by and quot;markand quot; and indicated a few unique pieces worth saving (for their uniqueness not their value) and then weighed and valued the other items for scrap. Her quick review of the art indicated that many were simply painted by local artisans in various European locals. A few were worth up to $500, but most were worth less. As such no further work needed to be done and no appraisal was recommended. I appreciated her sincerity and honesty.
Description of Work: Sharon Kerwick provided an estimated value of art and silver inherited. She was pleasant and honest, identifying those items of modest value and those that were not worth keeping. As none of my pieces was of any great value she gave me piece of mind, educated me and only charged for an hour of her time. Although I did not locate any valued pieces I highly recommend her. She is easy to talk to, highly regarded in her industry and honest to a fault.

Description of Work: Mrs Kerwick answered all questions, appraised what she thought was necessary, and after researching further, I found her figures to be quite correct. She recommended places where I might go to sell my merchandise, and she did this at my request. I only used one referance, and the people she recomended were also very polite and fair. They answered all my questions with no high pressure . Very nice experiance. Very thoughtful woman, and I would certainly go back to her for her advice and opinions.
