I inquired Jaime to do a complete floor remodeling of my new home. I really wanted to get my floors started the same day I closed on my new home and he was able to make it happen for me! I am very pleased with the outcome and my floors are beautiful. I have received so many compliments already. Jaime was very communicative and any issue/concerns I had, he made sure to quickly address them. I plan on hiring Jaime and his crew again to remodel my bathroom, so yes I definitely recommend them ☺️

When I decided to replace the old and nasty carpet that was originally installed in 1988, I had 4 companies come to calculate the tile usage and gave me the quote. I chose Jamie because he is very knowledgeable, always available (day or night, week or weekend) to answer questions. His calculation is perfect ( no shortage or overage of tiles) and his price is competitive. His crew did A great job to install the tiles, baseboards in the living room, stay and bedrooms. I had them again to install the floor and backsplash for the kitchen, truly enjoyed working with Jamie and his team.

It went perfectly. Jaime and his team were wonderful. Would definitely hire again.

I could not be happier with the home remodel by JZ Star Flooring. The work was done well and Jaime coordinated and communicated with us throughout the process. We added additional work through Jaime’s network of contractors and our home is now top notch after 30 years without any upgrades. Jaime and his crew were great! We talked through the condo renovation in detail. All new tile floors throughout the condo, and in both bathrooms and tile surrounds. Wall demo to install a new closet system and open the room up. New kitchen cabinets put in and new countertop. Whole condo is essentially new. Close communication, timely delivery (except things that were on back order). Creative problem-solving, highly recommend.

I just completed a 3rd project with Jaime at J.Z. Star Flooring. This was the largest of the 3 projects with a full bathroom renovation, tub removal, shower build out and installing additional floor tile. Jaime and his team did an excellent job and we are happy with the outcome. He is communicative throughout the process and always forthright with any issues that arise. It is a pleasure working with J.Z. Star and we look forward to the next project.

The worst project experience imaginable! I received a quote with a best case and worst case scenario. Once the demo of the floor began I was told an additional $950 in concrete would be needed to fill in the cement that was ripped up with the floor. The demo crew made no attempt to cover anything and so the entire house was covered with dust. Each day started at 11am and ended at 2-3pm so the work took longer than I was told. Since these guys don’t work weekends my family and I had to live in horrible conditions for days without any work being done. Jaime the owner kept telling me that the work would be done today and at the end of the day a new day would be required. Extremely frustrating. When it was finished, I received an invoice that was much more than the worst case scenario. We had never discussed additional charged]s except for the concrete that I paid as soon as it was asked. Jaime also stops answering the phone when the project is not going well. You probably won’t hear from him until it’s time for him to collect payment. When he did send me the invoice he apologized and said I would be receiving an extended warranty and two boxes of flooring. It’s been a month and haven’t received anything. I called and text him because a small portion of the floor is coming up. He has given me the run around for weeks and no one has come to fix the issue. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY WORK JN TOUR HOME1

Jaime and his crew are professional and easy to work with. I have worked with Jaime on a couple of flooring projects and would hire him again. Him and his crew bring solutions when a problem arises.

Jaime and his crew were fantastic. The gentlemen who did the demo work were efficient and cleaned up everything before they left. They noticed a problem with a built-in bookshelf and made sure it was well supported before they continued. Jerry, who rebuilt the subfloor, resolved an issue with rainwater coming in before continuing with the job. He and Jaime answered all of my questions and were happy to explain what they were doing and why it was necessary to the job. They were excellent and I would definitely recommend them and rehire them.

Jaime took the time to listen and help us with our flooring project. Luis did a fabulous job installing. We are thrilled with the end results and would work with them again.

I have used numerous contractors to remodel our condo and JZ STAR FLOORING is the best (hands down). Their attention to detail from the time they come to give you a quote until the time they are finished; they are truly amazing. If you are looking for a contractor look no further than this company. You WILL NOT be disappointed. We have already agreed to hire them to do our last remodel project in 2024. Cant wait to work with them again.

The original contractor badly mangled my master bathroom, giving JZ Star flooring an even greater challenge than normal. Their work is EXQUISITE! They pulled off a minor miracle, and what talented tile setters Eduardo and Guillermo are. The end result is the bathroom oasis I always wanted. I highly recommend them.

The job was done expeditiously. The worker was professional and did a great job. Kudos to that company.

Couldn’t have been happier from beginning to end. Very professional setting up the appointment, met the installer the following day, had an estimate within 2 hours, and had an agreement within the next 2 hours. The following day the installer showed up on time, did a great time in slightly shorter time then was expected, and the work came out great.

Very bad Job done by this company. My original concern was for them to fix the pooling happening in my two patios. Jaime agreed to have it fixed. I paid them over 4k to do this job and when his worker Noel finished I couldn't believe how badly the work was. There is still pooling in the areas of concern and the tile was left uneven. Not only that but the mess they left afterwards was ridiculous. Grout on my walls (that i just got stucco'd and painted), grout on my front door (which i cant get open because grout hardened on the frame), white powder all over my black driveway, trash that was supposed to be removed found in my trash bin, trash bin has white powder stains all over. All in all super messy job. I was very surprised by the bad job because of how he spoke about his company. I've tried several times to tell him to fix the issue but the only guy he has is the same guy that put the tiles originally. I didn't like his work so I needed another person to do the work. He said he was going to give me his insurance information for me to file a claim which I know his insurance isn't going to give me what the job costs. The tile alone cost me several thousand and all he had to do was the job which was fix the pooling and place the tile. I asked him for a refund to hire someone else to fix his poorly done job and he refuses. I will post pictures of the job. Very bad company and very unprofessional. Please don't hire them.

It went very well. The installers, Guillermo and Eduardo, were amazing. Very meticulous in their work and very knowledgeable. Jaime, the owner, was wonderful as well and very responsive. Very good work at a fair price. We would definitely use them again.

Fast, professional, convenient. I texted Jaime the dimensions of my room and the type of carpet I needed replaced. He quickly responded with a general estimate, followed up by having his assistant bring samples to my home to choose from as she measured everything, and scheduled the install. Start to finish, we had our new carpet in less than one week, I think. Quality all the way.

Excellent Customer Service, Sales, Installation and Repair!!!! Highly recommend their services. We had what we thought was a small leak from our dishwasher which damaged a few of our wood laminate floor tiles. Jaime had a couple of guys out right away to pull up the flooring to assess the damage. Turns out the water ran under those wood tiles and we had to have most of our kitchen flooring pulled up. Jaime was very knowledgeable in assisting us finding a high quality replacement for the flooring as our existing flooring was no longer available anywhere, and matching it up would have been almost impossible, given it was in the main area of the house. He found us waterproof hard vinyl tile flooring that looked like real stone that was environmentally friendly. Jerry and his assistant did an amazing job installing the flooring. Our kitchen floor looks beautiful, is durable, and the quality of the flooring meets our high standards.

JZ Star Flooring was very professional, punctual, and communicative. Installer sent photos every step of the way as I was staying with the inlaws during installation. Made me feel really confident that the job was being done, and done right. Installers were also extremely friendly, as was the owner who came out to do the measurements and show the flooring. Cannot recommend this company enough!

Had J.Z. Star Flooring change the floors in 2 bathrooms. After several estimates, I considered their price to be reasonable. Once I got myself in gear, the processed moved very quickly. The owner, Jamie, is well versed in flooring. His installers were very punctual and kept in touch before arrival. They did a wonderful job. I liked doing business with a small business, it was more personal. I would certainly refer people to them, and I would use them again.
