It was a terrible experience. I didn't like anything about it. For one, they were more than 2 hours late. I called the office and the lady was mad at me for asking why they weren't here yet. When they finally arrived, they were 5 hours late. They did a shoddy job, they left spots. I also paid for extra service that was supposed to be quick dry and only take a couple of hours, but it took 2 days to dry. I will never use them again, even if they offered free service! I had taken off a half day of work and ended up having to miss the entire day.
Description of Work: Hired them to clean the carpet in the dining and living room area.

I entered into a contract with Hurricane Carpet & Tile Cleaning, Inc. to professionally clean the tile and grout at my home. During our discussion, the representative who identified himself as "David" and the owner of the company stated that he would use a professional strength solution to clean and restore the tiles and grout as over the counter cleaners would not achieve the desired outcome. On Saturday, June 21, 2008, the company sent two representatives to perform the contracted services; one of them identified himself as the owner's brother. They also stated that he would clean the tile and grout in a professional manner. When the job was near complete and I observed that the areas that they said they had already cleaned were in the same condition as before and were no different that if I had simply cleaned it with pure water. The representative assured me that once it was dry, I would see the difference. Even though I was obviously not satisfied with the job, he insisted on being paid. In order to prevent an altercation, I had to pay them to get them out of my home. I immediately contacted "David", the owner and explained my dissatisfaction with the job; he at that point assured me that he would come on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 11:00am to look at the job and possible redo it. On Monday, June 23rd, he did not arrive nor did anyone from the company contact me. I made several calls to the company which was not answered. I then contacted him on his cell phone and he kept promising that he is one his way. Up the present, no one has contacted me, nor has arrived to discuss the problem. A return of $240.00. It is evident that they did not use a professional chemical to clean the tile and grout as verbally discussed and contracted.

I WAS VERY UPSET WITH THEM! THEY QUOTED A PRICE OVER THE PHONE AND WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO DO THE WORK THEY WANTED TO CHARGE SIXTY DOLLARS MORE. I CALLED AND COMPLAINED.
