Hulett Environmental Svcs-Pest & Termite Control

Contracted Hulett for several rental properties in Miami for a Termites contract. They suggested No tent Termites which cost me $890 for 1st time (was nearly 2 years and half ago) and a service contract for less than $200 every year. All good, or seemed to my eyes, both not seeing termites and having the peace of mind to have a service contract until something happen and you will realize their non ten treatment doesn't guarantee nor protect you. A wall came apart on the inside and wood, structural wood was heavy damaged. Called Hulett in emergency and was told nobody could come with one week, I had to call another company to threat the property again (was told me that was like nothing was done prior). Also their annual service includes a check visit only if you requested it, how convenient for them. Also in our home we had a $79 contract for rodents for which they sent invoices with date time of visit. Unlucky for the company we have cameras and we were able to check and prove that nobody show up in despite of the service listed in the invoice. I contact them and they were prompt to give back the money saying it was an error, how convenient... no other apology or feed back. This company does it's money by selling service they never perform and count on people to forget about it. and their no tent service is sold as a replacement for a tent treatment at a fraction of a price but it is just a waste of time and more dangerous a false peace of mind that you will pay overtime and Hulett won't take any responsability. I won't take this company anymore, I feel cheated.

Services were prompt and efficient. Great company.

First review ever, but when a company satisfies and honors their contractual obligations it is proper to give them credit. Due to circumstances beyond our specific agreements, it was unreasonable to continue and complete non-tenting termite treatment on my single private house in SouthWest Kendall, Miami. When i contacted Branch Manager David Cogen, he was polite and accommodating. Hulett, honored their 100% money back guarantee and I was, both pleased and SURPRISED. i feel that this FACT is worthy of mentioning, as integrity and ethics should be important to consumers and Corporations.

These guys are great. Very professional, clean and ON TIME! Loved it.

They came on time and sprayed every where I directed them to using several methods , not just spray. It took 3 times to really stop the infestation, but they kept coming back whenever I called, no questions asked. They are the best.

I called them Saturday Morning when mice and droppings were observed. They sent out a accounts manager technician the same day to inspect and give us an estimate of work to be done and cost. He was very professional and showed my wife and I the places that the mice came in.

They were excellent. They were there when they said they were going to be and did what they said they were going to do. I have not had any termite problems since. The sales person was low key and explained their service well and was not pushy.

My grass got browner and browner and I finally let them go. Also, they never called the night before they were coming out as the contract stipulated.

I have been using the company for a year and a half. One technician comes out for the service and completes the job in about 30-45 minutes. Their service has been okay. They have been able to prevent neighbors weeds from getting into my yard. They have sometimes failed on proper follow up. They told us we had a fungus in the grass and would be out in 2 weeks to treat it. They forgot to come back out and I had to call them to follow up. They come out regularly as scheduled. They make sure to call before coming out. Update: Based on my previous review, I was contacted by local management. They addressed my concern and took time to look at my yard. They identified issues with my yard and had them addressed the next day. A company that cares about customer feedback is worth doing business with!

The technician was here at the scheduled time. He was very nice and professional and explained what he was going to do and about how long it would take. He fertilized and sprayed the lawn and also sprayed for weeds.

My client couldn't have been more pleased. I'm sure he will recommend Hulett to anyone he knows who might need their service even though he did not. ,The service tech, Ed, spent about 20 minutes. He was honest enough not to try and charge my client for something he didn?t need. He did offer a preventative program that the client declined because he will be selling the house. I will certainly recommend Hulett from now on to my clients and will call them for my own property.

My experience with them has been excellent and they are extremely reasonable.

It went well. They were very responsive, reasonably priced, and did a good job.

No consideration for pets, although we specifically asked to be careful with certain areas when treating. Received bills for visits that never took place, and only because we have a gate guard, and I could prove noone had been there - would they consider canceling the invoice. When requesting them to come out, for a service call, they never showed up, and 7 days later the technician called and asked if he could come. We could not see him that day - and requested that he adhere to the service calls that were scheduled. Very dis-organized company. Pest control not very efficien.

Very professional from the initial phone call with the office staff to the technician who came to the house. No extra charge for additional visits. Still need a follow up visit regarding the ant problem

After getting estimates from several providers, I chose Hulett because they were the only ones who explained in detail how the process would work and did not try to force me to use a tent. They were also the most reasonable cost. The salesperson and the technician were prompt, personable, and efficient.

Please before careful before using this company. They come off so wonderful and make a lot of promises that they forget to deliver unless you constantly remind them. I have two dogs and the last 6 months they have been scratching uncontrollably. I complained to my vet that the expensive flea control he recommended wasn't working. He said maybe my yard was the issue. Spoke to the lawn tech and he said,"oh we don't spray for fleas unless you tells us you are having an issue." I said but I am paying for it. He said, "unless you tell us, we don't do it." They also promised to get my crab spiders under control. Do you think me killing 60 plus spiders a week is under control? See photos, to see if my yard is weed free. The last straw is that when I complained about their bad service and that I wanted to cancel them. They threatened to still charge me an extra month worth of services because I am under contract. I know they sound wonderful until you need stuff really done.

So far, so good. Normally with termite extermination they use a tent where you have to leave and remove all your food and medicine. The no-tent treatment allowed us to stay at home while they did it. Hulett was very prompt and the technician was very courteous.

Hulett employees are always punctual and professional. After Miguel took a look at our new bookshelves, he said the wood was fine. There was no charge for his inspection.
