+ 0 moreOverall the repair went excellent and the ceiling looks great. Jerry also painted the ceiling and grouted some tiles. He also helped me remove a tempered glass from the shower and tub which was a headache with the shower. Jerry's pricing was great and I didn't have any problems with rate per hour. I highly recommend Jerry if you want someone who cares about his/her work and who most importantly cares about you, the customer. Also, be forewarned he is extra nice and very funny and he will entertain you with good stories. I have a new Handyman.
Description of Work: I guess I should begin by thanking Angie's list because without this connection I would not have found Jerry. Finding a new handyman was a bit nerve wrecking because of the historical issues with my last one and using angie helped to narrow the good and the, "ah maybe he's not so good." So thank you Angie's List. Now, on to my experience with Jerry which was a total revelation. Jerry not only did a great job from start to finish but he also did it with incredible worth. The thing that I like most about Jerry is his sensitivity. He cared about the project and as soon as he walked in the door and throughout the entire process he made sure that I was happy with what he was doing. He asked for my input and then offered his knowledge and expertise. I could not ask for a better professional and person to deal with. Jerry repaired a hole in the dry wall ceiling of my master bathroom, which was caused by a leaky pipe break. I called Jerry on thursday and the next morning he was there on time, ready to assess. I did not expect him to start the job on Friday but he jumped right in and and completed it.

Description of Work: Jerry was recommended to me from another angie's list handyman. Jerry was professional. He arrived on time. He cleaned up when done. he rehung a valance that was coming out of the wall. He also hung a framed wall hanging on patio for me. Description of Work: He put a cover on an electrical box in the attic, he fixed something on the water, he changed lights, put the lint hose in the dryer, fixed rotter wood outside, fixed the outside light, made sure the diningroom fixture was grounded.

Description of Work: Jerry is trying to get established in the Angie's list family. Another Handyman already belonging to Angie's list called me up to introduce him to me because he has knowledge of many fields of home repair. I had needed some small electrical work done and he agreed at our first meeting to do the work, of which I was very happy to have done. He works at a good price and explained why the price is what it is, and it is reasonable for what he does. I asked him questions on other repairs and he has been in the business for many years, was knowledgeable on different aspects of getting things done. I was happy with the result and Jerry explained if I wasn't happy we could go over anything and he would take care of it. I do hope he gets himself in the provider list because he would be a welcome addition. Good Luck

+ -1 moreJerry was recommeded by Richard from Quality Handyman. He charges $30 hourly. Jerry was punctual - very pleasant - and he did a great job. He would clean up after himself each day. I work full time and gave him access to my condo. My only complaint/suggestion would be to plan better so as to avoid too many trips to Home Depot since that time is included in the hours charged. I have already recommended Jerry to a friend of mine.
Description of Work: Prep walls covered with old wallpaper in two bathrooms (1 was half bath) and painted walls. Repaired ceiling in one bathroom. Unclogged slow flowing drains in both sinks. Re-caulked all areas. Repaired one faucet. In both bathrooms he framed the mirror with decorative molding (looks fantastic). Removed vertical window blinds in bedroom and installed new horizontal blinds. Removed curtains from living room wall along with rods and sealed all holes.
