Jerry was super nice and helpful. He looked at everything and was able to tell me what he could do and what I would need to call "experts" for (ie exterior plumbing or screen door replacement). He managed to fit me into what seemed to be a very tight schedule.

He was very good. I had to take care of a few things myself and I had to call him back, but he was very good. He came in and he was very knowledgeable about anything I asked him. He went right to work because he had to pull out the old grout around the shower. He spent a lot of time. He was there around 3 hours. I was happy with him and would definitely use him again. He is reliable and showed up on time. I would definitely hire him again. The price was average and reasonable.

After a friend of a friend plummer came over to install new faucets and camode in my home a few weeks back, leaving the job 1/2 done, Jerry was the first person I called to resolve my issues. He switfly came over, diagnosed the problems, picked up the necessary parts and efficiently fixed all that needed repair. I trust him implicitly in my home and will keep using his services as they are timely, affordable and well managed.

The job took about 6 hours in total, including time spent going to Home Depot to buy wood, have it cut, buy other parts and also a new kitchen faucet. I'm pleased with the results. Jerry did a great job. No more leaks! I wouldn't hesitate to have him come back for other home repairs.

Very satisfied - Nice guy and good work. I called expecting to have to make a future appointment for some minor work I wanted done before having guests over. Jerry said he had just finished a job earlier than expected and he could come right over. He came, did the work, no mess, fair rates and I'm already scheduling him to come back for bigger jobs.

Jerry arrived at 9AM on time and at the date he had scheduled for me 2 weeks earlier. He took me to lowes to purchase the materials. Back at the house Jerry and his helper proceeded to tear off the old facia while waiting for the paint on the new boards to dry. He had much rebuilding to do before nailing up the new boards as the rafter ends had decayed to apoint where there was little nailable surface left. The end result was excellent beyond my expectations. Jerry is a professional by any standard and has a very pleasant personality. I will have him back to do more work for me He is my handy man. So happy to have found him!

From our last encounter with installation of fascia, we asked Jerry to find a piece of gutter. He did. He went and bought it and professionally installed it. Arrived on time, got right to work, and cleaned up afterwards. You cannot ask for more than that and all for a good price.

Jerry and his helper came, laid out the tools, took my husband to Home Depot to get the wood needed and then set to work. Didn't even stop for lunch! I offered that and water or coffee and they refused and kept working. Even the music (all contractors have radios) was to my liking. Made friends with the critters in my home, joked with me, finished, had my husband inspect, cleaned up, not only tools, but with a broom and offered to hose down the pool area. We discussed other things that we might do in the future and he gave his very honest opinion on all questions asked and advice from experience.

Jerry arrived as promised at 9am. He immediately started working the list. Several of the items required parts, so he assessed everything needed and we made one trip to Home Depot to get what we needed. I went along and paid for the items, which in my opinion works better in that I know there was no markup as some other contractors do. We returned and he continued fixing everything else on the list. In total it took about 3.5 hours. He has a good sense of humor and was very easy to talk to in describing the work that needed to be done. I would definitely call Jerry again for other repairs around the house.

After reaching out to Jerry via Angie's List and follow-up phone call, I received a timely and efficient visit from Jerry where he took care of my plastering and door needs. His price reasonable. His workstyle efficient. His attention to detail wonderful. I would use/recommend his services again in a heartbeat.

Contacted Jerry by phone since I don't live in Florida, but was encouraged by his excellent Angie's list reviews, all of which are well deserved to be sure. We concluded the ceiling fan most likely needed to be replaced---it was beyond repair. I purchased a new fan and had it delivered my condo. Jerry installed it, but first checked the old one to be sure it could be repaired. He also checked a water heater that wasn't delivering enough hot water. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He did all this work in short order which is important when you're paying by the hour. His rate may appear high, but he is well worth the money and completely honest. I'm confident he'll get the job done quickly and accurately. The entire bill was well below what others have charge me in the past for similar work. Because I've found Jerry I will no long buy costly appliance insurance which I've done for years.

Jerry and his crew were A+. Our upstairs bathroom had to be stripped due to rotting underneath. It was a 3 day project. They were very nice; worked hard and very honest.

Jerry showed up on time and it took about 20 minutes to go over everything I wanted done. He fixed everything that I needed fixed, except for the closet door, which after he got back from Home Depot.. he realized he didn't have the right piece for it. It might have been nice for him to call me to ask me if he should buy what we needed to take care of it, or just make that decision himself, but I'm not sure he realized he needed that piece until he got back. Everything else though was done with fine workmanship, and he made sure that everything was cleaned up nicely at the end. I am satisfied.

We were extremely pleased with Jerry's work ethic. He kept us informed through every aspect of the repairs. And was extremely mindful of our budget. Once finished, we put the duplex up for sale...we had an acceptable offer in two days!

Jerry arrived on time and ready to work. He gave me his business card first to prove who he was, which I thought was very professional. He repaired plumbing under bathroom sink and fixed leaky kitchen faucet. I was very happy with his work, and would definitely call him again.

Jerry installed an outdoor light fixture that does seem to work porperly but other than that the work he did did not justify the time it took to do it. Other than the light, i wanted him to replace some facsia board around my front door, He told me it as not neccessary as the wood was not rotted, it just needed to be prepped and painted. I appreciated his honestly and asked him to prep the area to paint. He then processed to prep the area. I didn't have paint and said I could paint it myself. He told me he was done and I mentioned the light showing though my my door.He told me the bracket just need adjusted on the doorknow. He moved the door knob bracket on my front door but never addressed the dead latch. Now, I cannot close the lock and deadblt on my front door without a hard shoulder and double check., After i got the paint to paint the door,I noticed it wasnt propper prepped. There was still loose painnt and rough edges . I spent another hour prepping it prior to being able to paint. Being handy myself but tired of doing it myself i choose to hire someone to remove some of the burden. Although I found Jerry very friendly, I hired a handyman not a friendly guy that wanted to chat. I am sorely dissappointed.

Jerry is the BESTEST! our old fans were improperly installed and so, were not so easy to remove; nevertheless, Jerry did the job, was totally pleasant and professional, Jerry is unique, a very high quality man who takes great pride in doing the job absolutely as well as possible- we look forward to hiring him again!

On time and on price. Can't ask for more

I've just moved into a new apartment and I needed a handyman/carpenter to assemble my guest bed, which contained some pretty heavy pieces as well as some stripped screws that weren't holding as well as they should have. I also had some broken slats in my master bed - which was feeling pretty unstable since the movers rebuilt it a month ago. I called Jerry today to set up an appointment with him. He told me he was booked pretty heavily for the next couple weeks or so but - as it so happened - he was right across the street from my apartment when i called him. When he realized that he was close to my location he came over immediately to see if he could offer any assistance. Within the next 90 minutes, he assembled my bed and gave me a quote and next steps on what he could do to the master bed to repair it, however he went ahead and made some quick short term fixes to help it feel a LOT more stable. I was completely impressed with his willingness to stop in for an immediate visit as well as his friendly attitude and very thorough approach to his work. I have set up my follow-up appointment with him already and will definitely continue to use him as my go-to guy in the future. Thanks Jerry!

Jerry has done work for me before and I did not hesitate to call him again. We made arrangements for him to start the work on Monday, Sept. 19, 2012 and he arrived on time. We went to a big box store to purchase supplies such as drywall, ingredients to apply the drywall and some new electrical covers. He returned to finish the wall, sanding, etc. on Friday Sept. 28, 2012. He was very professional, gave helpful hints and suggestions. He is a detail person so that he covers everything involved in the project. He is also able to predict future problems if they exist. I am very pleased with his work and persona.

Jerry arrived on time. Was professional and friendly. Along with the things I asked him to do, he noticed my front window needed caulking and he went ahead and took care of it without me even asking him. It's nice when someone takes that "extra" step to help. I felt that he was honest where others would try to "pad up" the bill. I thought I might need to purchase drywall, but he was able to patch the holes (compliments of my dog) I also have a window that needs to be repaired and he was honest and told me that was not something he could do. Unfortunately in South Florida, decent, reliable workers are hard to find. Jerry is an exception.

Jerry returned my original call promptly and luckily was able to come over within a few hours. He attached a tv bracket to the wall of my den (securely enough for him to do a chin up so I know it is strong enough to hold the tv) and mounted my flat screen tv to the bracket. The job was finished quickly, cleanly and professionally plus he is a delightful individual. I will absolutely call Jerry the next time I need a handyman and will recommend him to my friends.
