I had purchased the fan as well as all the necessary supplies he needed to do the installation (wire, conduit, elbows, etc). Everything was ready for him when he arrived. I also had the fan unpacked and partially assembled. By doing this, he was able to save time and start the installation immediately. Jerry charges by the hour instead of the job. He finished the job in approximately 3 1/2 hours. I did have to help him a couple of times as it required a second person to hold some of the conduit while he marked or cut it. I didn't mind doing that at all as it saved some time. The finished job looks great. Everything was done neatly and to my satisfaction.

I called him on Friday to schedule some work being done. He said he could absolutely do it and asked me to hang up and call him back leaving my phone number. He assured me he would call me back that same day or the next day at the very latest. He NEVER called me back. If he can't remember to call me back then I don't trust him to do the work in my house.

He came to do the job. I was only seeking an estimate but he was ready to do the job and get it done. He even came back the next day to complete the job. Great guy and I love that he is hourly rather than random estimates. Thank you Jerry!

Jerry was very friendly and was able to handle all the tasks I gave him. He did it over two days seeing my list was long. He removed 4 existing ceiling fans and replaced them with new ones I had bought. I also had 5 ceiling light and chandeliers I was replacing and upgrading. He did all those too. I am having new windows installed and the patio doors had a blind fixture in front of them that had to be removed. God knows who did it, but it was a mess. Jerry cleaning removed the fixture and I'm ready now for my windows. I have to compile another list of things I want to get done so I can hire Jerry again to complete tasks I'm not capable of doing myself. Thanks Jerry.

Jerry is very nice and professional. Sometimes hard to connect with as he has many jobs on the go but understandable. A good honest guy who will help you out!

He disassembled my bed - two armoires, light bridge, mirrors, etc. so that the flooring people would be able to move it. He moved large items out of my closets and moved other large objects out of the rooms to make it easier for the flooring installers. He arrived right on time and was very accommodating to all of my requests. He will return next week and get things put back together and in order.

Excellent. Completed 90% of work first day. One job required two men. He arranged for another mechanic to meet him on site onSaturday and completed the assignment. No weekend charge, Will certainly call Jerry again.

I called Jerry to install an attic folding stairs which I had already purchased. He explained that it had been a very long time since he installed this. He recommend another company M&P Maintenance (also Angieslist) which I contacted to do the work. Jerry is a very straight-up guy and I plan to call him for other handyman work in the future.

What can't Jerry do? He has replaced a ceiling fan, replaced a tile in my shower, sanded down peeling paint and did it all with a sense of humor and a smile. I plan to redo my fencing and deck next month! He is always on time and is very reasonable. He will work with you if you use him all day...and he's a pleasure to work with all day.

Jerry was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. He took out my old mailbox and installed a new one. It wasn't an easy install. He had to break up the cement which anchored the old mailbox, fix the sprinkler lines which were incased in the cement and install the new mailbox, cementing it in place. I would definitely use him again for any small jobs needed. Thank you Jerry.

Drywall and bathroom work was completed successfully. Kitchen cabinet door could not be adjusted. Jerry explained why, and even told me where I could get new hinges to fix the problem myself. His price was very reasonable, and I would use him again.

I scheduled the appointment with Jerry approximately two weeks in advance. Jerry called me the day before the appointment to see if we were "still on for tomorrow." I said yes, he had originally and again said he would be here "9 to 9:30 am." Jerry arrived exactly at 9:00 am on the date agree to. Very punctual, and diligent in following up on the appointment the day before. This means that Jerry is organized with his work appointments in such a way that he can and does look ahead to plan his work week. Very commendable. Jerry had all the necessary tools to get the job done, even a rare tool seldom used, to cut a hole in the stainless steel sink for the sprayer attachment. Jerry was a very personable guy, speaking as though we were "old friends." As far as price goes, $107, the faucet set he replaced cost me $650 which included the faucet set. This time I bought the faucet set ahead of time, but I don't think that is the extent of the difference. All in all a very good experience. Whoever gets Jerry to do a job for them, tell him I said "hello."

Jerry was contacted about a week before his arrival on the date we agreed upon. He arrived on time and observed what needed to be done. He repaired a small area in the corner and applied approximately one and a half boxes of new matching tile. Jerry is professional and very knowledgeable about repairs. I have used him a couple of times in the past. I find his prices reasonable and will use him again when needed.

Jerry's first job was to fix my wooden gate which was no longer aligned with the hinges and start adding a new row of fencing where I had only a single row in some parts. The job took eight hours with the run to Home Depot to buy the supplies. He has been back since giving me a two hour minimum each time for small jobs here and there, which is fairly affordable doing it that way if the job is completed, the good thing is if he runs a bit over and is reminded that you can afford the two hours, he will let it slide sometimes. I have had several Handymen come and do various jobs giving me a flat price, but I never get quality work and end up having to get it redone or redo it myself. I also have had several who just never show up or call back. I was beginning to wonder if people really wanted to work as there had been so many who just did not respond, call or show up. Jerry calls and shows up. He is very busy and gets booked out quickly, so now I have to call him and let him that know I need him to schedule me in and what I need done. As long as he can continue to work and is willing to work, I WILL ALWAYS HIRE HIM.

I'm not sure Jerry is still in business. I contacted him in December of 2013 about a patio repair. We had had a small fire and some of the decorative woodwork needed to be replaced. After several messages and an email that bounced back as being undeliverable, he returned my call. Jerry arranged to stop by that Saturday to give us an estimate. Saturday rolled around, but he never came and never called to explain why. I contacted another carpenter in the area who told me that he did not do jobs like ours and suggested we contact Jerry. It was the holidays and quite busy; one thing led to another, and we ended up not doing the repair. The following September (2014), our insurance company informed us we would need to complete the repair. So, I again contacted Jerry at the number listed on Angie's list. After leaving several messages with no response, we went with another handyman. Given the nature of our interaction, I was uncomfortable giving a strongly negative grade, opting for a "C." I have every reason to believe he does excellent work -- especially since even his colleagues recommend him -- but getting in contact with him is the challenge. The handyman we hired (not listed on Angie's List) ended up doing fine work in a timely fashion, but I remain certain that Jerry would've done a better job.

jerry was late due to traffic.he called a few times to keep me up to date. he's very friendly & can do most small jobs.

Jerry was on time and friendly and id the work in less than an hour. He price as a little bit too high I thought.
