I ask for an estimate on a tile and wood floor job. They came to the house an hour earlier than I ask them to and then called me while I was at a meeting to ask me where I was. They came in after I got to my house and were very polite and informative, suggesting all the possibilities that they could provide. It seemed they knew professions. Then they measured for the estimate. Their numbers were twice the dimensions of the job and when I later asked them to come back and remeasure they said that the measurements were correct and I would have to pay as per the estimate. I asked them if they would except the job as per my measurements and they said no. I still have in my possession the accurate measurements and quotes should anyone like to review them.
