I've never been taken advantage of so badly. I had an irrigation company come out when I first moved into my residence, approximately a year ago. That company did a complete service, including: unclog all heads, adjust some heads, repaired a broken line (digging and replacing pipe). His total cost was about $100. So when my lawn guy made recommendations for this company I figured around the same price so why bother calling back the first company. WRONG!!!!! 4 hours of work at $50 an hour!!!!!!!!! I could've done the work that needed to be done in half the time, and they're supposed to be experts in the field. The sprinklers that were adjusted left MAJOR bare spots in my yard to where I had to go out (after watching instructional videos) and adjust the sprinkler heads. The worst of the sprinkler heads and the one that needed repair stayed untouched. How is that possible??? Because this company didn't care and scammed me for $50 an hour. What a ridiculous cost! I've never had an irrigation company charge such a ridiculous price. Please do not use this company! If you do, get a detailed estimate as they may take advantage of you, like happened to me.

As a very discerning customer, I don't write many "rave" reviews, but these guys definitely deserve one... Contacting them was very easy (no automated phone menus, etc), they were very professional and pleasant on the phone, and gave me an appointment only 2 days after I first contacted them. The day of service, they showed up right on time [ gasp!] and showed up ready to work. My house was built in the 1960's and the ancient sprinkler system (probably the original) was a wreck. It had 2 "zones" in the front yard with multiple underground leaks and non-working heads, no system at all in the backyard, and a groundwater pump that roared like a locomotive and cranked out that nasty-smelling rust-water which stained my fence and left oily spots on my cars. I hated the whole system to the point where I simply wouldn't use it any more. Also, my backyard is very tropical and overgrown, with a tiki bar, pool, hot-tub, pond, and several fountains; my point being, there's a lot of water around and, thus, a lot of mosquitos. All in all, the backyard is awesome for entertaining or just hanging out, but mosquito season can make it unbearably uninhabitable. First, F & S completely re-worked the existing sprinkler system, got rid of the locomotive-rust-pump and tied a new three-zone system into the clean water supply. They added a digital timer/control-panel, fixed all the underground leaks, and repaired or replaced and re-aimed all the sprinkler heads for optimum coverage. My front yard looks great and my cars are finally free of those nasty oily rust-water spots. Next, they added a new third zone to the backyard consisting of many (maybe 20 or so) little "mini" sprinkler heads which are great for pin-point watering (as opposed to big sweeping sprinkler heads), which is awesome if you don't want sprinkler water in your pool, hot-tub, and all over your tiki bar, etc. Last, but most certainly not least, they tied in a new "Sprinkler Magician" mosquito elimination system which, unlike most of those independent "misting" systems, actually runs through the existing sprinkler system. It has its own independent timing system which you can set to run every day (or every other day, etc...) at which point the system turns on for about 3 minutes in each zone and sprays water mixed with an all natural, organic non-pesticide type of mosquito repellant that those little bloodsuckers must truly hate because they have all since vacated the premises. Thus, I have finally retaken possession of my backyard! There's also a manual override button, so if you know you're going to be hanging out outside, just go out 10 minutes beforehand and hit the button and, ta-dah, mosquitos no mas! Bottom Line Time: If you need sprinkler work done or want your mosquitos sent packing, these are the guys to call. Fair warning though, it wasn't exactly "cheap" (at least not by my standards), but I do feel I got very good value for my money, especially considering the amount of work I had done and the equipment they provided. Moreover, of course, it's hard to put a price on the value of being completely mosquito free, and for me having my backyard back was totally worth it!
