Elegant Windows and Decor

Elegant windows by Decor literally took our money. We paid them a deposit of $1,100 on a $2000 solar shade job back in August. They stated it would take several weeks to get the material made and in stock, but after a month I hadn't heard anything back from them. I then contact the owner Mark several times, but he didn't call back until 4 days later. He stated that the products for installation were being held by another company and that he couldn't get access to them. He then wanted to us to contact that company and record the call, which we didn't want to participate in. The check was written to Elegant Windows and Decor and deposited into their account. Another few weeks went by as I continue to attempt to follow up with Mark, but he wouldn't return my calls. I finally found another number on their Facebook page, which was answered. The woman explained that that Elegant Windows and Decor had no money to pay me back. I explained that I would take a payment plan ($100 a week until it was paid) and would require a phone call every week to communicate that the check was mailed. I received only one check in 4 weeks and never received a phone call. Apparently there are 28 other customers who's money was taken, but nothing was ever delivered (this was according to the woman at Elegant Windows). I didn't want to leave a bad review, but this company took my money and is not communicating with me as promised or paying me back as promised. I'm still out $1000 as of now. Be careful giving anyone a deposit by check. Always use a credit card. That way companies like Elegant Windows and Decor won't be able to rip you off too.

Fantastic as always! Mark has designed several of my windows in my home which is a bit challenging. His knowledge of the products and his vision with fabric is incredible. My windows are jaw droppers they are so beautiful! Thank you Mark!!!
