+ -1 moreWE WERE READY TO PUT UP THE DRYWALL AND WE NOTICED THAT THE WIRES WERE NOT ATTACHED TO THE LOAD CENTER. THEY JUST PIGGY BACKED THE WIRES. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WE DISCOVERED ON OUR OWN. WHEN WE CALLED, THEY SAID IT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WORK SCOPE AND NEEDED MORE MONEY IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE JOB. IF WE HAD NOT NOTICED THIS, WE WOULD HAVE PUT THE WALLS UP AND WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THEM BACK DOWN TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. IF WE WOULD HAVE TURNED THE ELECTRICITY ON, IT VERY WELL COULD HAVE STARTED A FIRE. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THE RECESSED LIGHTING WAS NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED AND HAD TO BE MOVED. THE DEPTH WAS OFF AS WELL. WE TOLD THEM 4 TIMES THAT IT NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED AND THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. WE HAD TO WAIT TWO MONTHS IN ORDER TO FIND ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN TO REPAIR DINNIN'S ERRORS. DURING THAT TIME, WE COULD NOT LIVE IN OUR HOME WHICH COST US 2 ADDITIONAL MONTHS OF RENT. THIS WAS SUCH A MESS THAT IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO ACTUALLY FIND AN ELECTRICIAN TO FIX THIS.
Description of Work: THEY WERE HIRED TO DO SOME RE-WIRING OF OUR HOUSE DUE TO HURRICANE DAMAGE. IN THE PROCESS, WE WANTED TO INSTALL SOME RECESSED LIGHTING. SINCE THIS WAS SUCH A MAJOR JOB, MANY THINGS HAD TO BE BROUGHT UP TO CODE AS WELL. THEY CHARGED HOURLY AND I WAS CHARGED 5 HOURS OF WORK FOR THEM TO COMPLETE ONE RECESSED LIGHT. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE CEILING WAS ALREADY REMOVED.
