+ 0 moreThere's an issue with this one particular model because I'm trying to get a monitor to go with it and they don't seem to know how to get me that proper monitor to go with this particular desktop.

+ -1 moreDell offers good specials. They offer convenient ways for shoppers like myself to purchase computers that are of quality but that are not highly outrageous in terms of price. I found the employees at Dell to be quite helpful. More importantly, they are skilled when it comes to understanding what they are selling, how the product works and what to expect from the product itself. My relations with Dell were quite good in terms of the relations I had while buying my computer. Now, I have found that there are times when the computer employees are not that helpful which can be typical of dealing with larger companies. I tend to be very suspicious about many companies because I am a careful shopper. I do my research and am not quick to trust just anyone.
Description of Work: I purchased a Dell Laptop directly from the Dell Website a while ago. I just recently upgraded my entire computer that I bought from them using their on line and telephone services.

+ -1 moreDell was refreshing to deal with. When I got my computer, it was shipped and packed totally properly. I just plugged the thing in and it worked like a charm. They made my computer purchase easy and very affordable. I would be inclined to tell others that ordering directly from Dell offers a convenient way to purchase a computer from your home. In my experience, they did not let me down at all.
Description of Work: Using Dell's website and automated telephone sales center, I ordered myself a Dell desktop.

+ -1 moreOnce you purchase a Dell, it seems you are on your own. I did not pay a dollar for the repair, but could not click the perform work button without entering a dollar amount.
Description of Work: What can I say? We have two Dell desktops and both needed hard drive replacements and other major parts at different times less than one year after purchase. Each time meant many hours of telephone time over several days talking to Dell employees in India and Latin America to convince Dell to replace the broken parts (no small feat); a Dell repair person did replace both hard drives with reconditioned (second hand) hard drives under warranty. Both replaced hard drives lasted just a few months before breaking. I ultimately had my own computer person put in new hard drives and some other major parts at my own cost. Now the computers work.

+ 0 moreI AM NOT PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL. WHEN YOU DO HAVE A PROBLEM AND CALL THE NUMBER YOU CAN HARDLY GET A HUMAN VOICE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A COMPUTER FROM THIS COMPANY.
Description of Work: I BOUGHT MY COMPUTER FROM DELL AND ALSO A WARRANTY FOR FIFTY DOLLARS.

+ -1 moreTHEY ENDED UP TAKING TOO LONG ON SENDING THE PARTS THAT WERE NEEDED TO FIX MY COMPUTER THEY GAVE ME A NEW ONE. I WISH THAT THEY HAD DONE THAT AT FIRST SO I WOULD NOT HAVE WAITED THAT LONG. IT WAS ALL COVERED BY MY WARRANTY.

+ -1 moreI HIRED THIS COMPANY TO COME AND FIX MY COMPUTER. AT FIRST THEY WERE NOT VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY NEEDS. HOWEVER, THEY DID GIVE ME A REALLY GOOD WARRANTY ON THE WORK THEY DID.
Description of Work: CHANGE LCD SCREENS ON COMPUTER AND REPAIRED KEYBOARD.
