+ -1 moreThe nature of sandblasting at best is a total mess. Sandblasting performed by an inexperienced person could destroy the surface below the paint. This company was able to remove over ten coats of paint and bring out the luster of the pavers below. Nearly a ton of sand was used to remove the paint and the sand spreads everywhere. Sandblasting can also destroy anything touching the drive, as mentioned house paint and plants. Prep work could have been much better. Plywood or a tarp over the plants and against the house would have avoided some damage. The mess is something else and they did a minimal amount to clean up after their work. Their final results however were excellent. The job lasted two full days. The drive looks like new and after a little touch up paint along with time for the plants to rebud everything went well.
Description of Work: Our driveway is constructed with twelve inch pavers. The previous owners painted the lovely sandstone pavers. We hired a sandblaster to remove the paint and restore the paver to their original look. The drive is surrounded by plants and of course a house. I mention this as it is important to sandblast the drive and not destroy the paint on the house or kill the plants.
