We used them at someplace else that we lived. We paid $10 a month because, it was part of the condo association. We also paid for internet. They were bad. There were too many billing problems, and the on demand was scrambled. I tried to get it fixed and couldn't. They kept calling saying that I owed them money and I didn't. They don't understand anything. They could care about their customers. I'm going to have to use them when I go back to the condo next summer.

I'd give them a C because of the pricing. They keep changing prices. They sell you one thing. Their responsiveness has gotten better. I would not use them again.

They are horrible. I'm living now with my sister but I've had them before too so all these companies are the same I have to say. My personal experience with Comcast has not been very good. Their customer service is terrible. The only reason she stays with them is because their association deal where the cable is included. They are so bad that my sister is going to pay the agency and get out of it. She uses them because she has to since it is an association deal but if she had a choice she wouldn't.

I have had to call there multiple times to figure out the price of my bill. Each time I call I talk to someone who quotes me a price and a plan with some promotion. Then you get your bill and its higher and not the correct price they quoted you. I have called 5 different times, collected peoples names I have spoke with and each time, and each time they just say "Sorry, that person told you wrong." I have to have them because its the only company my building can get cable from. I would not recommend them to others. I have never heard of a company that will lie to you and not stand behind their comments, every time you call. I am just sick of them lying to me. They won't send me confirmation emails. I am just fed up. Each representative says something different, they should all be on the same page as far as price/plans.

After spending over 2 hours on the phone with Comcast they are still unable to transfer my services from my old apartment to my condo because my condo association has a bulk account. Currently I am on the phone with Customer service who was unable to fix my problem. They have decided the way to help me is to transfer me back to bulk accounts. This is the department that said they could not help me until Customer service helped me. I'm about to call DISH. Comcast's customer service truly sucks.
Description of Work: Comcast was supposed to transfer my services from one building to another. They were unable to do that because my condo association has a bulk account with Comcast. We wanted the "Triple Play" and some other extra services but after over 2 hours on the phone and spending 90% of that time on hold.

Comcast is for my landline phone, TV and Internet. The Internet speed is good. I seem to get on right away. We use wireless so that takes a little time because of the router. But it's automatic. I got all the features ont he landline. I have been happy with the Cable, I don't like the on-demand services that they have. Everything else is okay. I don't like their TV shows and their movie selections, I don't like the way the categorize things, like there is no overlap in the categories. There is nothing special that stands out. It is what it is.

We switched to them from AT&T about a year ago. The only reason we switched was because AT&T was unable to deliver anything above one and a half megabits of internet here. In our community AT&T has not changed the wiring to give us that speed. Most of the time we weren't even getting the one and a half. We were only getting half of that. Comcast offered a much cheaper service of a much higher rate of speed. My son made a similar move. My only issue with them was a service call to them about six to eight months ago. The issue was somebody had run into their pedestal down the road and disconnected the line. My only negative with them is they don't have the sophisticated system that AT&T has to pin point the problem before you know it. We will continue to use them an recommend them to others.

After a misundersating regarding scheduling date, the installation of Internet and phone service was quick and efficient.. The installers were friendly and helpful. Several days later I was having difficulty installing a Belkin router I got from Radio Shack, but a Comcast technician walked me through it by phone. Now we can be on line at the same time with both our desktop computer and laptop. Works fine. Previously we used an AT&T wireles card in the laptop @ $80 monthly with poor reception. Now we are paying much less for both the Internet and land llne phone through Comcast and getting far better service. I had hesitated to go with Comcast because we had used RCN for Internet and phone in Chicago and were not happy with their service.

The cable companies are monopolies so it is not like you have a choice. You have to go with the company that is in your area. I don’t like that it is all automated. It took us forever to get hold of a human being to talk to and get somebody to come out. You hit this button and that button and wait for another 10 minutes and that is what I don’t like. Once you enter all that information, like your phone number and stuff and the first person that comes on, the first thing they do is ask for your phone number. It just does not make any sense. I receive phone service, internet service and cable service from them. As for punctuality it all depends I will tell you why, when I call them they say that either I can wait on line, or you won’t lose your place in queue and they will call me back in no longer than 30 minutes. Then I waited 2 ½ hours later they call me back. They definitely took me off queue and took people who waited on line. So I don’t know. But when they did call they were nice. I have no choice I have to go with them and that is why they treat you they treat you. They know they have got you.

Terrible. I had to reschedule the first day b/c they couldnt make their guaranteed 2 hour window. The next day they were set to come between 9-11 and didnt arrive until after 3. The phone support and the internet support had to contact dispatch to contact me but there was no direct contact with any of the actual installers until their late arrival. Comcast is terrible. It's a shame that there aren't any other cable services availble. Do not expect them to be on time or within their 2 hour guaranteed window.

I am in the process of switching over to something else. I am disappointed in them. I have contracted for a private phone service, which I haven't installed it and I have contracted for private DSL, which I may or may not be happy with depending on how it works. It should be done by the beginning of the week so I haven't completed the switch. The TV was installed today and I have taken out the Comcast TV. One of the features I've noticed so far is not just the single fact that it is less expensive with more channels to watch and the Comcast package I had did not have high definition digital service which this TV does plus their commercials seem to be overlapping which is pretty distracting and you can't get away from them. With the other service I haven't noticed that so far. I just got a software download, which is no big deal because it was just installed this morning but it appears to be a much better service that Comcast offered in their bundled package. I will now have 3 different services and will be spending 20 percent less than with Comcast. The first leg that is in. which is the TV, is much superior than Comcast Cable. Comcast has been extremely frustrating, not only to get the services installed correctly but also to get them to fix them to the point where they were supposed to work. It has taken hours with the phone calls. The reason I am switching is because I am extremely, extremely disappointed. The people that call me and I talk to on the phone are the most pleasant people in the world but they don't have any power to get actual problems solved, no matter how hard they try they can't do it. I have a business so I may have to go to their high speed internet because I don’t think I can get the graphic packages that I need.

COMCAST BORED A HOLE THROUGH MY SEWER WHICH RESULTED IN FLOODING, FURNITURE DAMAGE, LOSS OF ARTWORK, AND EXHAUSTIVE PLUMBING BILLS, ETC. FOR A THREE YEAR PERIOD. I HAD TO PLACE ABOUT 50 PHONE CALLS TO THEM AND SEND COUNTLESS E-MAILS TO THEM. THEY REPEATEDLY LIED TO ME AND HAVE REFUSED TO COVER THE DAMAGES.
Description of Work: STARTING ABOUT THREE YEARS OR SO AGO, I BEGAN TO HAVE TOILET AND BATHTUB BACKUPS IN MY DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SEWAGE WOULD START TO BACK UP ONTO MY FLOORS FROM BOTH MY TOILET AND BATHTUB. I HAD COUNTLESS ANTIQUES AND TWO EXTREMELY VALUABLE PAINTINGS DESTROYED BY THE FLOODING. ON A REGULAR BASIS I WOULD HAVE FLOODING WHICH RUINED ALL MY CARPETING, FLOORING AND DESTROYED OTHER VALUABLES. FOR A THREE YEAR PERIOD I HAD TO CALL COUNTLESS PLUMBERS WHO COULD ONLY GUESS AS TO WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. FOR THREE YEARS SEWAGE WOULD BACK UP IN MY TUB AND FILL MY HOUSE WITH THE SMELL OF SEWAGE. SINCE I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS I ASKED A T & T, COMCAST, CITY OF SUNRISE AND FPL TO TRY AND HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. INITIALLY, ONLY CITY OF SUNRISE COMPLIED. THEY PUT A CAMERA DOWN IN MY SEWER PIPE AND DISCOVERED THAT SOMEONE HAD BORED A CABLE THROUGH MY SEWER PIPE AND THAT THIS WAS CAUSING THE COUNTLESS PROBLEMS WITH FLOODING AND SEWAGE BACKUP. COMCAST REFUSED TO COME OVER AND SEE THAT THE CABLE WAS THEIRS EVEN AFTER FPL HAD BROKEN UP MY ENTIRE DRIVEWAY IN ORDER TO EXPOSE THE PIPE AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND ARRIVED AND MARKED THE CABLE AS BELONGING TO COMCAST. COMCAST LIED TO ME FOR FIVE DAYS TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE COMING AND STILL DID NOT COME. ALTHOUGH I HAVE FOUR BATHROOMS I COULDN'T USE ANY OF THEM FOR FOUR DAYS AND WAS HUMILIATED BY HAVING TO TRY TO RUN TO THE HOTEL ACROSS THE STREET EVERY TIME I HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. ONE OF THE COMCAST SUBS FINALLY ADMITTED TO CAUSING THE PROBLEM AND INITIALLY TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD TAKE CARE OF MY DAMAGES. HE OBVIOUSLY HAD A CHANGE OF MIND AND CLEARLY HAS NO INTENTION OF TAKING CARE OF THE DAMAGES. I HAVE FOUND COMCAST TO BE EXTREMELY DISHONESTLY, DISRESPECTFUL, DISCOURTEOUS, AND INCOMPETENT. I DON'T RECALL EVER HAVING DEALT WITH A MORE DISHONEST, INCONSIDERATE AND INCOMPETENT COMPANY. BY BORING A HOLE THROUGH A SEWER LINE COMCAST HAS DEMONSTRATED THAT THEY HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

I told the service agent on the phone everything that was to be done, and she was able to see and review everything from the information on her computer. She said all I had to do was bring the equipment from the old address to the new one. She didn't set up for the wireless service to be installed and didn't tell me that it would cost an additional $150 for the installation, or I could order a router for $9.95 and install it myself. The equipment I had was replaced by the technician without an explanation and the cable box was enormous. Very disappointing experience.
