Due to Covid-19, our wedding was postponed from June to August. I reached out to this company well in advance of this decision to give them the heads up around April, that there would be a possibility of postponing our wedding date. I received a response within 2 days: "Just keep us posted and if need be, we will be more than happy to help you with any changes". I was relieved to receive this response from them. 2 weeks later we decided to officially postpone our wedding. We notified all of our vendors and everyone responded EXCEPT Mike. I began to worry as I had emailed him about 10 times before I received a response of Mike wanting to meet in person. I was confused as to why there was a need to meet in person when my contract was paid in full since January and it was merely a yes or no whether or not our new wedding date would be available to transfer our already reserved acrylic sweetheart table. Once I informed him that a phone call would be best because I lived out of town, he ghosted me and never returned any of my emails, or phone calls. I've had my fiance, wedding planner, and even my mother try to call from different numbers to see if anyone would answer. Absolutely nothing. It has been almost three months and I have still heard nothing. If you are in this same situation, I urge you to submit both a fraud/scam alert and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. File a charge dispute with your bank and/or credit cards. According to Help Me Howard, it is illegal for a business to keep your money if they are not offering to be rescheduled due to a pandemic.
