The service went very well. Two guys came out to do the repairs and it took them a full day to complete it. They showed up on time and completed on the time frame given. The area was very neat, no damage and it was left clean. They are confident and reasonable prices. They are very friendly, they explained everything in detail. I would use them again in the future.

I have been very lucky picking the right business lately. I actually met the owner while having a craft beer in a restaurant. I was ready to go with another company, told him what their estimate was and I had him come out....the next day to give me an estimate. A salesman came over and met with us and went over the estimate and all the details of what they were going to do and a time frame of how long it would take. The estimate was a little lower than the other company we were going with but we got a nicer shingle. We decided to go with Chase and what a great decision that was. They started the work on time and I checked on the work in progress. They had a crew of 4-5 people working on the roof and kept a clean area. They replaced 5 sheets of bad plywood at no extra cost! After they stripped the roof and put down the paper, we had to wait for the inspection. 4 days later they came and put the roof on in one day. The roof is beautiful. The owner's wife, Tamara followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied and even sent over a box of chocolates as a tank you. I thought that was a great touch! I am going to use Chase Roofing for another property we own, for a new Barrel Tile roof. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone as they were extremely professional, well priced and completed the work on time and without a hitch. Thanks so much Tamara!!

John Chase came when he said he would, inspected the roof, discussed the options of repair vs total replacement, and gave costs for both. We opted for repair, which unlike a new roof, could not be guaranteed, but was far, far less expensive. The crew arrived promptly on the agreed date, worked efficiently, were polite and communicative, and got the job done in half a day. There have been heavy rains since then - no leaks! The other roofing company that we got an estimate from would not consider doing a repair and only give us the cost for a complete new roof.

This is will be our second time using Chase. They came out promptly to survey our issue and located the problem in a timely fashion. We recieved the quote the next day. When we called to approved the work they team came out the next day to get the work completed. They were done quickly and fixed the issues we had. The team were polite and explained everything that was done. I would use them again in the future if needed and would recommend them.

It took 2 days of work. Tthey were extremely professional and prompt with the work and all correspondance. I received a progress report and photos each day. I would highlt recommend them for any roofing needs! Thank you

John Chase, and his representative who originally met with me and made arrangements, were both very pleasant to work with, and highly professional. The office staff was always pleasant and great to interact with. The workers arrived as scheduled, were extra careful to not have any roofing material (tar etc) get on the adjacent white awning that runs the entire expanse of the flat roof being recovered (and were totally successful with that - not a spot on it), worked diligently, kept the area around my house neat and clean, and were always very open and responsive to any questions I had. Everything they said they would do, they did. The project manager onsite during the work was a total pleasure to work with. In working on the additional leak source subsequent to the main roofing work, John was very responsive in sending out his crew to solve the problem, and they arrived as scheduled and solved the problem. There has been no leak since, and it's been several months. Once it was determined there was no leakage for a period of time, they returned last week to replace the barrel tiles that had been removed, and when I asked John what I owed him for this, he said there would be no additional charge. I've been very impressed with John Chase, who is a good and nice guy, highly professional, and shows total integrity and honesty. Plus I could not be more pleased with the final job they did. If and when I need a reroofing for my pitched roof, I will definitely call on John.

Still had a small leak in same area after the first hard rain. Returned and repaired.

It went great. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. I will definitely use them again. They also took pictures to show all the steps they took. This was great for me since my husband was out of town at the time and I could send him the pics.

After two positive experiences with Chase in the past, I called again when evidence of a leak appeared in an upstairs bedroom and in the kitchen below the balcony. Tim provided an estimate to repair the two leaks, and suggested we alternatively think about replacing our 25-year old roof. I realized that it was indeed time to think about it, and a day later, we called back to get an estimate for the work. John Chase came by with it, and we agreed to the numbers. He informed us that the bright white flat tile selected would cost more, but would also qualify us for a energy-saving rebate from FP&L -- several hundred dollars. He added that the new roof should qualify us for a reduction on our homeowner insurance, and a no-extra-charge mitigation inspection was included in the price (I'm getting tired of typing, so will cut to the Chase (ha-ha, pun intended). - From demolition of the old roof to final installation of the new, the workers were very conscientious about cleaning up after themselves. Other then one cap nail and a couple of white tile crumbs, there was no sign that they had been there. Some markings on our driveway were erased in a final pressure cleaning. - Every step was followed by a city building department inspection, and our final documents include a copy of the signed and dated approval sheet. -Money changed hands as the job progressed, about six or seven payments in all. -We also hired Chase to maintain the roof on a yearly basis. No more mildew buildup for us! -We are very happy with our cool roof, which reflects the sun's hot rays from our home and keeps our attic cooler -- and thus the whole house. -Leftover tiles were stashed away just in case they are needed for replacement one day. No painting required.

Professional service from initial contact to end of process, Quality work with respect for the property, including the landscaping. Unfortunately we encountered rainy weather during installation, but Chase was persistent and worked as best as could be expected taking the inclement weather into consideration. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. Pictures were provided to present to the insurance company for premium reduction. Site was cleaned appropriately. Price was comparable to others providing bids. Chases is also a licensed contractor and able to do "in-house" installation of the hurricane straps preventing hiring and coordinating a separate contractor. I was very pleased.

An appointment was made with the roofer for an estimate, I had to take the day off work. The roofer did not show up or even call. When I called the girl asked if it was raining, I said no. I couldn't help to wonder if it ever rains in Florida though and what it had to do with them not keepeing an appointment or call to cancel so I wouldn't miss work for no reason.

My roof was 24 yrs old and needed replacing. I chose Chase Roofing from Angie's List and I am very satisfied with the results. The complete re-roof took six weeks -- exactly what they had advised and the paperwork and approvals that were needed were handled very efficiently. Workmanship was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

Chase did an excellent job. They were extremly professional, answered any questions I had (which since I knew nothing about replacing a roof was a lot) and they did everything they guaranteed they would do in a very timely manner; even cleaned up everything. During the process they needed a couple other contractors to come out to remove (and replace after the roof was finished) screening and a solar panel which they handled completely so I didnt have to worry about hiring seperate vendors. I was dealing with Bobby who was almost always available to take my calls and if I had to leave a message he called me right back. He came by my work several times to show me samples of different tiles and then dropped them off at my house so I could see what they would look like against my house. He went above and beyond. Definetely would recommend and use again....

Nice, easy process. Estimate was prompt and fair. Scheduling was easy, and their guys arrived early on Monday to fix the roof. I couldn't stay while they finished the work, and was able to pay by credit card over the phone. The area was clean when I returned. It's raining now and the leak is fixed. Thanks!

Chase replaced a roof on my house which was a very difficult job because of a very high pitch to the roof. Some others were reluctant to do the job. The result was excellent. Some 6 months later I needed a new roof on a small apartment building. Again Chase's price was excellent and the job first rate.

Day One - Removed old tile, replaced plywood and facia board as needed, renailed the entire plywood surface, installed new felt to "dry-in" the roof. Facia board was primered prior to installation. Day Two - Installed heavy felt paper and hot tarred the entire roof. Delivery of tile Day Three - Installed tile. Day Four - Engineer performed lift test for final inspection. Numerous building inspections throughout the project. Entire process took approximately three weeks, which included New Years and two holidays in January. Very reasonable time especially dealing with building inspections at every stage of installation.

I selected Chase Roofing over several other bids primarily because they were the only company I interviewed that seemed really interested in addressing my specific needs. I have a flat roof tied in to a sloped tile roof. The flat roof needed to be re-roofed and I wanted to accomplish this without damaging the tile roof. The other roofing companies either insisted on loading and transporting roofing materials, debris and hot tar across the tile roof from the front of the house or charge an exorbitant surcharge to transport materials along the side yard and load directly onto the flat roof. Another issue of concern to me was falling debris or hot tar staining the flagstone patio deck and/or the swimming pool. Chase Roofing covered the pool and patio with visqueen and suggested utilizing a torch down application method instead of hot mopping. This procedure worked well, with no spillage of debris. At final inspection the building inspector commented that they did a very good, clean job. One problem area encountered was timing: they did not start the project on time due to their workload. This was a major concern because my insurance company had given me a cancellation notice with a looming deadline for the flat re-roof job to be completed. They told me they could start within 2-3 weeks from the date the contract was signed. They were made aware that I would be out of town for a week beginning on Saturday at the end of the fourth week. They assured me the job would be completed well before that. At the beginning of week four I called them to find out which day and was told they were behind in their work and couldn?t start until Friday, which was unacceptable, since I would be leaving town the following day for a week and the project was at least a 2-day job. I had to cut my vacation short so they could start Thursday of the next week. After the work was completed, the final inspection was delayed two days because the permit package was incomplete and contained some inaccuracies that had to be corrected and resubmitted. I realize that the different cities? building departments require different permit items, but it is the roofing company?s job to determine in advance what is required by a particular city. Fortunately, the job was completed just in the nick of time to avoid cancellation of my insurance. Although it appeared to be a good quality job upon completion, after the first hard rain the area where they tied the new flat roof in with the tiled sloped roof now had numerous leak that were not there before. Chase's "repair specialist" came out and was extremely rude and argumentative, blaming the leaks on the age of the tile roof and insisting that these new leaks were coincidental and unrelated to their work. The trouble is, prior to their work there were no leaks! Moreover, all four sides of the tiled hip roof are the same age, but this is the only side that is leaking. I finally talked the company?s owner into installing some visqueen until they can figure out what to do about it. This was about a month ago and they seem to have disappeared into the woodwork. I would recommend that any prospective customer hire a roofing company that truly stands behind their work, but not his one.

Chase was the 3rd contractor to come out. The first guy tried and could not do it. The second company came out and said they would not do for less than $15,000. Chase came out, said they would do it for $750 the next day, and that's exactly what happened. Really quick, too! After my previous experiences, I was very happy to pay them for their perfect work.

Chase Roofing and Contracting is very professional. They did a great job on my roof. They were on time, on schedule and would highly recommend. They have great customer service.

OVERALL AN EXCELLENT GRADE, THE INITIAL RESPONDER, TIM, EVEN SHOWED ME THE AREA WHICH NEEDEDTO BE REPAIRED AND EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE REPAIR CREW, TOM AND ANOTHER FELLOW, DID THEIR JOB AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS ABOUT EVERYTHING. THE ONLY PROBLEM, AND I CONSIDER THIS MINOR WAS THE SECRETARY WAS A LITTLE DITZY, SHE TOLD ME A SCHEDULE BUT THEN DIDN'T WRITE IT DOWN FOR HER WORK CREW, THEN WHEN I PAID, SHE DIDN'T NOTICE I HAD USED A COUPON THE COMPANY WAS OFFERING. HEY, NOBODY IS PERFECT, BUT ASK THE SECRETARY IF YOU ARE SCHEDULING TIMES FOR REPAIRS IF SHE WROTE IT DOWN.
