I've been using CD Hogan and Hogan Tree Company for maybe 20 years. They are always busy and don't call back. I have to call many times and wait for months before getting any service. Guys climb up on roof to trim tree which I don't like because the roof tiles become loose and roof leaks there now. I have used them because they are a local business and reasonably priced.

We purchased property last year and previous owners had not maintained trees. Needed major work. Got a couple of estimates and all recommended removing large tree. Chose C.D. Hogan for experience and Certified Arborist designation over "tree trimmer". Last very important to me. Price was in line with other companies. They also noted tree on property that needed trimming that we missed. Worked with our travel schedule to do work when we were there. Arrived early on day of work and did all the removal and trimming in one day. Very careful to not damage neighbor's property or fence during removal. Cleanup was exceptional, raking beds and blowing debris off walks and driveway. Followed up on following Monday to remove stump. Did great job on trimming and reshaping trees, and help preserve them during storms. Lightened up garden as result. Did extra work in cutting off old stumps in other part of garden that wasn't in original proposal and did not charge any additonal money. Obtained permits as needed for tree removal and recommended trees to replace the one removed as required by permit.

Always prompt. This company cleans up so well you don't know they were even there. This last time, they did much more than the contract states. All in all, a good company that has been around a long time.
