Broward Screen & Window Inc

Waiting several months after initial estimate. Contacted them when I was ready to do job. They would give me excuses that the owner was not in. Tried calling several times no call backs. After a couple months I have given up. Wrote a bad review and they contacted me right away. Once I took the review down still waiting on them to contact me. It’s been a couple weeks. Apparently they do this according to all the one star reviews. I guess if your job isn’t at a higher range they do not care.

Bill and his associated showed up bring an early to install impact windows on the front bedroom and kitchen windows. The courteous, hardworking and professional. Very satisfied with estimate and installation. Work was completed in reasonable time. I would definitely use them again and also recommend them to friends. Thank you Bill and your associate. You did an excellent job. Now I can breathe easier during the hurricane season.

Made and confirmed an appt. for an estimate. It's now well after the "Appt. Window" and they are a no call/no show. If a company doesn't even care about showing up or reaching out to a potential customer if they couldn't make it, I WONDER WHAT TYPE OF WORKMANSHIP THEY PROVIDE? Pathetic, should have known, the person who answered the phone and then confirmed was unprofessional and discourteous. Avoid them.

Wonderful. The workers were there as stated and worked until the evening (about 14 hours). They swept and picked up every bit of extra screen. It was a big job and they got it all done in one day.

I interviewed several contractors before choosing Broward Screen & Window to build my patio - I definitely made the best decision and my patio is beautiful! The quality and workmanship is fantastic, but I can’t overlook how professional and diligent everyone was that worked on this project. Jay, one of the owners, came out, provided the estimate and contunied to be involved from start to finish. He never failed to keep me informed of next steps and timing. It was a fairly big job with lots of steps and dependencies along the way. If there was a delay, I was notified in advance of what was happening and why. Jay provided input and advice when needed and made sure that the job would be perfect. Yes, this should be expected, but I’ve learned that it’s not always the the case. The team of guys that worked on this job were hard working and respectful. There were some really long days in the summer heat and rain, and they managed to keep great attitudes! After the job was complete, inspected and paid in full, there were a few small issues and they continued to be just as responsive. They came out quickly and resolved. I absolutely love my patio and could not be happier that I chose Broward Screen & Window. They exceeded my expectations!

Saw their truck working next door, and asked driver if he could replace a few panels since he was already there, he called his boss Jay and said he could do. I had to leave so I left a check with agreed amount with person cleaning my house, she had to leave so gave them my check. They left without leaving an invoice which I need for insurance purposes. I have called them and spoken with them at least 5 or 6 times,2 different girls have always promised they will email me within 10 minutes, I emailed them with no response also. The last 2 times no one answered but I left a voice mail with my number and threatened to leave a review, I received a text within 5 minutes asking for my address. Never heard from anyone again, this was over a week ago, I have been calling since the 20th of last month. I hate leaving bad reviews, but how can any company blow their customers off like this? What if I had an issue with an install?

In March 2017 Broward screen and window came out and rescreened my pool enclosure. I was happy with the work they did. And in September 2017 hurricane Irma hit and took out 7 or 8 screen panels. As I had used Broward screen and window before and I was happy with them I thought I would give them the business to repair my screen panels. They told me how busy they were and I realized that because of the hurricane screen repair would be extremely busy and I did not expect them to put me as Priority One. However I called them at the end of the first week and left my name and number for them to call me and tell me when they could come out for an estimate and repair. they never called back. I gave them a week, call them again, left my name and number, and said I would just like an idea of when they can come out. They said it may be a couple of weeks. I waited a couple weeks and still no contact. I called them back and spoke with the receptionist she took my name and number, said they would call back. they never called back . I waited another two weeks, called again, got the receptionist again and was told they would call back in 10 minutes. I waited an hour and they still hadn't called me back. so I called again and was told by the receptionist that I would be contacted at least by the end of the day to tell me when they may come out. Again they never returned my call. I called them and left a message on their machine informing them of my anger about them not returning my calls and at least giving me a time estimate as to when they can get out and told them not to call back because they obviously weren't interested in my business. Very unprofessional!

The owner, Jay Bass came to my house, did an incredible time consuming appraisal with measurements of all 26 panels that were damaged, gave me the estimate and, when i asked him when he could come to do the work said it would be within two weeks. i was stunned since i had several other companies not show up, tell me that they were behind at least one or two months, or came up with estimates that we incredibly high. I thought it over, called him the next day and he called me back saying two of his crew would be over the next day. I thought that they were just going to measure, but they spend 10 hours doing about 85% of the job. Two days later they came back and finished the job with one of his men calmly walking on the 30 foot high enclosure and doing the screens that needed replacing balancing on the enclosure. i could not believe how fast and efficient he was! I paid my money and called the owner Jay to thank him. I asked how i could help him and he asked if I would go on Angie's list and tell about his company. His company is as good a service company that I have ever experienced in my 30 years in my house and i would highly recommend him to do any and all work that you need done! I don't rave about businesses very often but Broward Screen and Window Inc. is the real deal!

Company did excellent job. I was actually surprised by how responsible they were- what a breathe of fresh air to encounter a company with integrity. They made sure my supergutters were cleaned completely with a pressure cleaner. They patched and repatched them until they were no longer leaking. When they rescreened there were two panels that had runs in them and they changed them and apologized that it happened. Instead of rushing through the job they were careful about doing it properly and kept us informed about the progress.

They did it really fast and cleaned up everything after they left. When I first contacted them they have been fast and prompt to respond. Firmly they quoted the job and even I begun after 6 month of the estimate, they respected they quote and did for the price. You can tell they know what they are doing, they did safely and clean. Definitely would recommend calling them.

Bill came to give us a quote on January 29, 2015. We had received previous quotes and Broward Screen and Window's quote was very competitive. We were impressed by Bill's professional and courteous manner. Over a 2 day period on February 1st and 2nd, Don and Reno installed our new screens. Throughout the process we were impressed with the friendly, courteous, and professional approach by Don and Reno. They accommodated special requests to replace rusty screws and bolts in addition to replacing the screens. They did a fine job. We were very happy with the results of their work and their fee was exactly as quoted. We highly recommend Broward Screen & Window, Inc.

Jay was very professional and extremely personable. He and his workers were great! Jay checked on the project a couple times over the 2 day project. They completed the work as scheduled. Gave an honest price.

I met one of the owners, Bill, outside my house who was walking by and I stopped him to see if he could fix my window ballast that was broke. Being that it was a Friday, he said that they would get the part and call me on Monday morning and could stop by the same day and install it. I never received a call so I called and spoke to Donna who was wonderful and assured me that Bill would call me later to let me know when someone could stop out and install the part. The entire week went by and no phone call and got excuses as to why they couldn't get out and do it. Finally Bill called me on Friday and said that someone definetly would be out the following Monday to install the part. At that time I was reluctant, but said ok. The following Monday I hadn't heard from anyone and it was now 3pm, so I called them. Bill then called me back apologizing and telling me that they really don't repair windows, but that someone would call me Tuesday morning and come out to install the Ballast. Again, No one called Tuesday so I called in the afternoon, and spoke to Bill's brother that let me know that Bill should have never told me that they could do the job. He told me that all they do is big jobs and no window repairs. I asked why I got the run around and he told me that his brother should have never said that and then led me on. I just don't understand why Bill didn't tell me up front when I met him that they don't do window repairs and to call someone else. I did find another company that did a wonderful job and when I call they came right out. I would never use Broward Screen and Window again because of this.

Their quote was on par with other quotes I got. I didn't continue with the project but they are one of the firms I would go back to when I am ready to do the project. They were pretty quick to get back with the quote.

They were fabulous. The owner himself came out and his price was good. Of all the people we called, it was just amazing, the guy got here and he was like, "Yeah, this is how we're going to do it." It didn't take a huge down payment to get them. He was real reasonable with his down payment and used a blueprint. He was on the job. The two owners were here every single day and they did this job in a really timely manner.

They took care of all the permits required and all of the people that worked for them cleaned up after themselves and were pretty good with telling me when they were going to come. It took a little longer due to the permits and inspections, but I was very happy with them.
