Bluewater Pool Remodeling/Repair & Leak Detection

I had about 6 other estimates from other pool companies and was not happy with a variety of things. Then I found Bluewater Pools. On 3/4 Alex came out promptly and gave me a detailed estimate for what I requested. He did not try to sell me waterline tiles or anything else. It was clear that Alex and Brian knew exactly what was needed to replace our current lighting. The other companies seemed clueless about the fiber optic light system that we had. We hired them and they started the job on 3/14, just 10 days later. They arrived on time, and started to drain the pool. The next day they came and worked on the lights, then over the next 2 days, resurfaced and filled. It took a total of 4 days to complete the job. Everyone who we came in contact with was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. They did not make a mess of the yard, and hauled away all waste material. After a day, we noticed one of the new lights had gone out. Brian came out right away and put another light in. Now everything looks wonderful. We love our "new" pool and new color changing lights. I feel confident that if a problem should arise in the future, they will stand behind their work and come out and fix it, but I don't expect anything will happen. I would highly recommend this company.

Brian came out very soon after my call for an estimate and was able to begin the project promptly. Everything went smoothly and according to schedule. He was very friendly and it's obvious that he cares about what he does and that his goal is to exceed customer expectations. I recommend him without hesitation!

I had a good feeling about him the day he came to give me a quote on the project...i'm glad I went with my gut and chose this company over 7 other quotes I received. We needed a total pool overhaul and that is exactly what this company delivered to us. It was amazing everything we could get done, stay within our budget and get excellent quality of work. Brian was upfront straight shooting and dedicated to the job. Got rained out the first day and made up for it on Saturday. Prices were way below 4 other bids. He upgraded the color, for $300 others were over $500. He added tile to the steps n/c others $300. Fire in $100 others $450 and up. They are 95% done but so far I'm extremely impressed

It started out great. Brian sent an email, we set up a date and the work started on January 4th. The first day the workers came to drain the pool then a few days later they came to do the work. The first day, they broke our pool gate and blamed it on the gardner who'd been with us for 15 years. They came back to finish and they left all of the big chemical bags stuffed into our trash can. Then a few days later they came to add chemicals. At that time they told us that we had to "brush" the pool daily with a special brush which they failed to mention before. I asked when they'd be back to service the pool and they said they wouldn't. When I showed them the deal from Angie's list which included weekly pool service they agreed to do it but they only dumped chemicals in the pool - not what I thought "pool service" meant. Yesterday they came by to add chemicals for the last time and today my husband noticed that they dumped them on our pool deck which caused a stain. We called Brian but have yet to receive a return call.

This company by far has the best prices out there. They show up and do what they say they're gonna do. We had some rain delays, but other than that, if you want to be impressed by quality and price, look no further than Blue Water pools. I have remodeled several pools and was beyond impressed. They don't screen calls. They answer your questions directly and again, their prices are the best out there.

Alex and Brian were a pleasure to deal with and so were their crews, specially Sam. They answered phone calls and texts immediately and always showed up on time. The work was done exactly as promised and any issues that arose were handled quickly and resolved to our satisfaction. I would use them again and will recommend them to my mother-in-law for her pool renovation.

Brian from Blue Water Pools called me shortly after purchasing the service on Angie's List and was out at my house a few days afterwards. The pool was resurfaced and refilled the next week. Brian and his staff were professional, prompt and friendly. I would and have recommended Blue Water Pools to my friends and neighbors.

First time I every utilize Blue Water Pools - wish I had before - the have been in business for over 25 years - I called yesterday and the owner Brian stated he would be over at 9am the next day. Brian was a man of his word and was there promptly at 9am. He look at the job - than found the leak. The leak has been fix to my satisfaction plus I found a pool repair company that also sells pool heaters and equipment at a very reasonable price. As you can see Brian is my man - plus he has a son and daughter in the US Navy. Why not support a local company

Brian was prompt and professional & very reasonable. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future for pool repairs or renovations.

Everything went great, he called ahead of time, arrived right om time, found and fixed the problem quickly. He didn't charge anything at all for the re[pair or service call and even refused my offer to pay him something for his time and effort!

We called this company based on the referral of a neighbor. Something was fishy because the company name we were given was Advanced Pool and Patio but the person answering the phone identified the company as Blue Water Pools. The person was very abrupt and had poor communication and said to call back two days later because he was servicing another pool and couldn't take our info. Two days passed and the person called and assured us that he would come by the pool in two days at a certain time. Well, we waited and no one showed up or bothered to call. Obviously this company doesn't want to earn money so we're not bothering with these unprofessional hacks who lack the sense to keep their commitments.

Brian was awesome. He was very professional and easy to get in contact with. He was always happy to answer questions and keep us informed about each step of the work. The crew was also very professional. I would definitely use Blue Water Pools again in the future.

I contacted Brian about a new pool heater. His price installed was $1000 less than the competitors for the exact same unit. He always answered my calls and showed up when he said, with the price as quoted. After the pool heater was installed I had him come back and set up a salt water system for my pool. It was $500 less then the local store. He showed up on time and completed the work as advertised. I have recommended him to all my neighbors.

What a great service ! These guys were not only $2,000 cheaper than the number two on the offer list, but also so responsive and gave us super advise and even recommend a smaller unit than originally thought was necessary ! We can only fully support Blue Water Pools and whenever we need further pool service - regardless what - tBlue Water Pools will be the first we call for sure !

It went really well. They showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves and removed trash. Everything they brought in, they took out. The quality of work was excellent. He was a smoker, but didn't smoke while he was working. I think that is really considerate.

The owner came out and gave me an estimate. He was also the one doing the work. I didn't have to deal with a salesman. I'm very happy with the work they did. They did everything they said they would do. My pool looks awesome!

I never got a call back with the requested references. As a matter of fact, I never heard from him again....ever. I waited on Saturday morning for our appointment, and after waiting 45 minutes I called and left a message. I left approximately 4 messages that day, and he never returned my call. I called two days later to inquire about what had happened (still interested in completing the job), left messages, and he never returned my call. A week later I called again....now just curious for an explanation. The gentleman answered the phone. When I asked him what happened for our Saturday appointment, he said, "Oh, that was the day I was sick." And then the phone either went dead or he hung up on me. I called back....you guessed it, no answer. Never heard back from him. So clearly I cannot evaluate this company's work quality, but I can report that they never showed up nor bothered to return calls. Of course, the references I asked for were never provided either. Additionally, I did a Google Search for Advanced Pool & Patio. The company seems to do a lot of internet advertising on message boards, but other than their advertising, I could find no mention of them anywhere else. I could not find a business address or a website. They advertise heavily on Craigslist for many pool services. THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY COME OUT WEEKLY TO DO THE MAINTENANCE WORK TO MY POOL. THE WORKERS ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE. I THINK THAT THEIR PRICES ARE GREAT.

THEY ARE VERY HARD TO CONTACT & SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH. THEY DON'T WHAT THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO. THEY ARE NOT VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR WORK. THE ONLY REASON WE USE THEM IS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO INSTALLED THE POOL.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DID A VERY SLOPPY JOB. THEY DID NOT DO WHAT WE ASKED THEM TO DO. THE JOB THEY DID TURNED OUT TO COST MORE THAN THE JOB THAT WE WANTED THEM TO DO.
