Atlantic Window Cleaning

I saw that the vendor offered a window cleaning special for a one story home for $89, and called to make an appointment. The vendor did show up on time, but his first comment was "I'm an idiot, I left my squeegee and bucket at home and I live in Plantation". "It's going to take me an hour to go home and come back, so do you have time to do the job today?". I answered "yes", as we wanted to get this done, so he left and came back 5 minutes later. (I wonder where he found his squeegee?) He then started counting the windows and then informed me that we have more windows than the special allows, so it will cost me $50 more. If I wanted, he could do the exterior, or the interior for the special price. I responded to do in and out. Once he got to work, he did do a good job. My complaints are; (1) they did not honor the special price; keep in mind that we have a regular Florida house, not a McMansion, (2) The unprofessional nature of the worker at the start. Next time, I'll try someone else.

Had a slight issue at first, but called the company and they made it right. Could not be more pleased with the job that Steve did at my house. Will definitely use this company again, and will ask for Steve again as well. His attention to detail was spot-on.

I recently purchased my house and the windows were filthy. The gentleman cleaned all the windows and screens as required and advised that the two sliding doors would have to have the sun deflecting film (don't know the technical term) on the doors would need to be replaced. This is something I will not hesitate in getting Atlantic Window Cleaning to do. Overall a very good experience and I would not have any hesitation in recommending this service.

First I was given an "estimate" of $109 on the phone. When the worker arrived he walked around the house and said the cost would be $169 because the house has 33 windows and the estimate was for 20. Since our home is on the market and I was getting it ready for a showing, I did not have time to argue OR count our windows. At my count as I type this, we have 22 windows, so I'm guessing he counted the panes in the windows in the front as one each. He did a good job cleaning the tracks and the bottoms of the windows, but after a few days I began to notice drip marks on several (at least 4 so far) of the windows. Again, due to having the house on the market, I'm going around attempting to re-clean these areas.

They did not show up. When I called at 1:00 which was an hour after they should have showed they apologized but told me that the guy would be at his previous location for two more hours which means they wouldn't have showed until around 4:00. I told them I had waited all day and couldn't wait. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said I needed them to come the next morning at the latest since it was not my fault they didn't show up. The girl told me no! They were all booked up the next day. When I suggested that she call someone and rebook because at least they would have advance notice unlike me, she said she couldn't. I explained again, that I too, had booked an appointment and since they didn't show and didn't call me, they should reschedule me for the next day. She got off the phone, asked a supervisor and then told me no again. I told them it was very poor service and they had lost a customer.

Our home is new construction with 'impact-resistant' glass throughout and all windows had been completely cleaned at the end of construction in early August 2014. Therefore, the windows were NOT really dirty---and had only minor dust, spots, and streaks that accumulated during the interior painting and construction of a swimming pool during AUG-OCT 2014. This should have been an EASY JOB for TWO PERSONS, but, this was the basic problem: Only ONE MAN was sent and while he worked very hard and tried his best to do a good job, it is very difficult for only one person to PROPERLY clean windows. (If two people work together---one inside and one outside---it is very easy to quickly clean a window and the see any places that are missed.) In addition, he did not bring all the essential supplies (such as vinegar or another agent to remove hard-water stains). To this individual's credit, he worked his tail off for almost SIX HOURS---until it was getting so dark it was difficult to see the windows---trying to do a job that 2 people could have done in 2-2.5 hours. The only other small point I will make is not one single inside window ledge under the window was cleaned or even wiped off---something which I would have expected to be included in the job! Finally, I told the man that it should NOT be my responsibility---when he keep asking me how things looked---to have to continue to take him around to each window to point out places he had missed---that was HIS JOB. All is all, while this person had a very positive attitude and tried his best, what should have been an easy day became a project that required way too much effort on my part. If Atlantic Window Cleaning had sent TWO PEOPLE to do a large house like ours, this job could have been done MUCH MORE EASILY!

Looked good when he was finished but after when the sun shone on the windows there was dirt and there were streaks on all the lanai windows. I will wash them again myself.

I had an appointment for 11 AM today and no one showed up. I called and they said they were delayed and would be running late. It's been several hours now and I have spent time out of my day and gotten my home ready for them to come out and clean the windows. One guy finally showed up at 2:30 to do the work. So if you don't mind waiting around the house all day, then go with Atlantic Window Cleaning for your services.

The "great deal" is somewhat misleading and turns out not to be a bargain. They count every panel separately -- i.e. if you have one window with two separate panels sliding up-- that's counted as 2 windows. Even skinny side panels alongside the entrance door are counted as one window each. I suppose in their eyes that is considered fair, but we found that we ended up paying more than we had paid our previous service. The work was generally good, but we had to point out a few minor areas that needed to be done over again. We also had to point out that there were 3 mirrors included in the price that had not been cleaned when the men were leaving. Most annoying, they left water spills on the tiled floor under a number of the windows. All in all not a great experience.

Fantastic!!!. Service was excellent!!!!. Bryan Santler arrived within the hour of the scheduled time. He was dressed professionally, and very courteous. He presented us with an estimate before he started the job. He was right on target with pricing. Job was completed within 2 hours. He was very careful while working inside not to mark or drip water on furniture and carpets. We would highly recommend company and would request to have Bryan come back. We are enjoying the beautiful clear sunny fall days,,,,,awesome job Byran!!!!! Thank You!!!

It went really well and quick. I am not a picky person and there are areas that did not get totally cleaned. I believe in 80/100 rules. I have a discounted price, they managed to fit me in within a day, I think it is a very good value and service I've got relative to the price I've paid.

Brian arrived on time, verified the windows fell under the scope of the offer. He was professional, neat and di d a magnificent job. All the windows came out sparkling clean. I would not hesitate to use them again! My parents had the same experience too!
