Atlantic Window Cleaning

I have had our windows cleaned before, but the guy they sent out (can't remember his name) got a lot of etching from the sprinklers off of the windows.

Frank came on time n is a very professional gentlemen. He did a great job in a reasonable time. I will definitely use his service again.

Office staff was very helpful and professional. Set up appointment within a reasonable time. The person who came out to do the job was right on time. Very polite. I understand that this was a big job, but it became apparent he was cutting corners. The biggest turn off is that he used the same dirty rag on all the outside windows. I know because I saw it on the inside while he was cleaning. He never really wiped the window sills which is part of the job. Also, when he did the fans, he only wiped the blades leaving the rest of the fan unwiped which was quite visible. On the outside fans, the dirt from the fans went all over the table and white chairs. I asked him if he wanted me to cover anything he said it would not be necessary. The windows came out OK. I expected a more professional job on the part of the worker. He had forgotten or overlooked a couple of windows which was very noticeable. I would have done it myself but it was on the second level. I think he wiped the cleaning solution on and had forgotten to wipe it clean. I had called the company and they were very responsive. They said he would come back to correct it. An appointment was made. He never showed nor called. I called the office and they sent someone else the following day. I am not certain whether I would use this company again. I perhaps would given the professionalism of the office staff, but in the future I would have all this clarified at the beginning of the job to avoid this. I had not noticed all of these things immediately as I wasn't looking for "cleaning" issues dealing with a window cleaning service so I who feel that people should get paid for their work, I gave this gentleman a substantial tip. It is difficult to fathom that he did not even call back to tell me he could not make it.

He charged a little more for the very high windows but all in all, he did a very good ob and put in the time I expected. He was very professional and I was pleased with the outcome.

Atlantic Window Washing did a wonderful job cleaning my windows. A technician arrived to my home and did a count on the windows, spoke to me regarding the final price and then began working. It was only him but he was efficient. You never realize how dirty your windows are until they are spotless. It was well worth the money. As a matter of fact, when I came home from work that evening, I thought my husband had the windows open since it was cooler out and I almost put my hand through the window. They were THAT clean! I highly recommend this company!

We choose AWC after reading the reviews here on AL. CS rep that answered the phone was very courteous and explained why I may not want to purchase an advertised special/deal as we had mostly french doors and speciality windows which are typically cost extra over the cost of a standard window. Ryan was the service tech that arrived to provide the estimate. Ryan addressed my concerns regarding cleaning the windows on the inside because of tint. We agreed on the price which included both inside and outside. Ryan was very professional and friendly. He took his time to a great job....longer than even I expected but no complaints because the windows now look amazing. He even took his shoes when completing the window cleaning inside. I can't tell you how many vendors come to our home to complete work and walk thru our home with their dirty shoes/boots. Kudos to AWC. AWC requires all customers to fill out a survey but he had none left so completing this review on AL was the best way to provide recognition. We will definitely call Ryan again in the future.

Very good. When they arrived, it was getting ready to rain. They advised that we shouldn't clean the windows then because they wouldn't dry properly if they got wet right away. We appreciated their recommendation, and they rescheduled the work for a couple days later. We were pleased with the work, and the price was excellent.

The employee showed up right on time and was very professional and neat. Mostly did a fine job but after he left I noticed a few windows had noticeable streaks that I had to clean up with Windex. Not a big deal though. This is the second year I used this company and would definitely use them again.

They showed up on time and after a quick look at the scope of the job, they went right to work.aside from a few streaks that I noticed later, they did a decent job. I would hire them again. We actually used them again this year and we're happy with the service.

We are so pleased with this vendor! They cleaned all the windows and casings and all of our ceiling fans. They did a great job and I plan to use them twice a year from now on to keep my windows and casings sparkling and my ceiling fans from accumulating dust. Great job!

Martin arrived on the dot and set to work. He worked efficiently and thoroughly. My windows and doors are sparkling. The screens were (I'm ashamed to say) particularly fuzzy. It took almost 2 hours for 2 dozen total windows and doors. He wiped all sills clean, wiped down screens. It would have taken me two (miserable) days! I'd definitely use them again. It's worth the money!

It went great. Bryan came on schedule and did a great job. It's so clean now when you look out it's like there are no windows there.

I was not very pleased. They came out, just one man and he seemed to just use one rag. He left some screens loose. After he left I saw that they were loose, he didn't put them back the way he should and I wasn't all that happy with the job. They charged more because they said I had more windows. I would not recommend them. I don't think that it was not professionally done. I just didn't feel that the windows looked like they should look after cleaning.

The Atlantic window cleaner was good. We have used them before. They provided excellent service. He shows up, he is good and we enjoy having him here doing his job.

All windows were washed, and all ceiling fans also. It took close to 3 hours to complete all work.

Arrived on time. Provided the service I paid for except cleaning the screens, which I forgot was in the contract. I was very satisfied with the results and would highly recommend this company.

This service provider was efficient and effective and solved most of our window cleaning problems.

I signed up for pre-paid Angie's List Price Guarantee service - $109 - which I now see is going for $99. When the cleaners arrived they did a survey of our house and said that because I have mullions on my windows that create a small square in each corner, the cost would be an additional $42. Since all I remember reading in the Fine Print was that the price was for "standard" windows (which is what they look like to me), I wasn't too happy with this. But, since I had already cleared out everything in front of the windows to give them unfettered access, I told them to go ahead. While they got started, I called Atlantic Window Cleaning and spoke with a nice woman who expressed some frustration that similar had happened before and that their Fine Print (which she wasn't personally responsible for) was not fully helpful to a customer. She then spoke on the phone to the cleaner and they cut the extra charge to $21. I appreciated that, however, I decided that the cleaner had a valid point about working within the mullions, and I wasn't looking for charity on the backs of 2 workers. So, I went out and told them that I would pay the full $42 extra. I wouldn't have made this gesture to the company since it felt like Bait and Switch to me, but my guess was that the workers would take the cut. The cleaning was generally good, but not excellent. I had to follow-up in places and clean along the dreaded mullions myself. There were some minor water spills from their bucket which I had to clean up but no harm done. Overall I give them a C. Could have been a better experience but also could have been a worse experience.

Well I saw their ad on angies list for $139 for two story 23 windows. I thought it was inexpensive but called and told the girl where i lived which she said we do alot of work out there. I also said I had a 20' window, that's fine was all I got. WHAT they fail to say is they count panes not windows - how is a layman supposed to know this?? WHAT they fail to say is larger or what I am told are called colonial windows cost more I understand a few additional charges but by not informing customers how THEY count windows is deceiving. I expected tp pay slightly more for my larger windows, even though I was told, "that's fine" but when I counted my windows vs their count, it jacked my price up $127 and that was getting a discount The technician they sent, Julio, however did a very nice job

After 46 years of having our home windows washed, we have never had a service person not OPEN the windows to clean them. The tracks were supposed to be wiped and we were told they would be. The gentleman explained that they were only trained to wipe from the outside when the screen was off and not the inside of the window track. A track is a track and should be cleaned! ALL the tracks and bottoms of window were dirty and not done. When we pointed that out, he said well that's extra "detail" and would be an extra charge. I showed him the Angies List posting and said "Where does it say that"? I certainly could have taken and wiped the inside of the windows and hosed down the outside just as good. He reluctantly went around , opened the windows and wiped them while also leaving water spots on ALL of the floors in ALL of the rooms under the window areas. They also came 1/2 hour late and didn't call. I would NEVER recommend this company .I am having 2nd thoughts about renewing with Angies List since I'm not sure about the reliability of the reviews.
