Our insurance company was requiring us to prove to them that we properly repaired our roof even though we didn’t meet our deductible. After considering doing a re-roof with several local roofers which quoted us upward of $7500, we decided to have our roof repaired by Atlantic Coast Contractors with the ‘R400 white rubber sealant product’ and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The price, the benefit of energy efficiency by keeping the house cool with the white shiny surface and the 5 year Warranty made excellent financial sense for us. I paid a fraction of what I was quoted by others! The owner Mr. Hardy is very personable and went above and beyond for us explaining every detail and delivering exactly as promised. Great job, Great Price and great continuing care after installation. Steve is the most personable and honest contractor I have ever had, and I have built/repaired houses all over the U.S. Steve took on the tough job of replacing a 55-year old roof. There was lots of damage underneath the main house, and the flat roof was an absolute mess. He did everything as promised and contracted. What was most important is he kept to the scheduled start date, and completed in the timeframe allotted. Where he identified extra damage not in the contract, he gave me fair pricing for those fixes. I’ve had the roof 2.5 years and it went through a hurricane in 2017. I had two tiles that got loose (not broken or flown away). I called him, and he fixed them. I had to add a fan in the kitchen that required cutting the roof open. I called him, he gave me a fair price, and he ensured my roof didn’t leak and the fan works great. Nice to know I chose well and have continued help with my roof when I need it from the guy who installed it. By the way, he’s a former insurance inspector/adjuster; he knows exactly what the companies need so you get your rebates for insurance. Go get your three estimates, but get his last. His will be fair, comprehensive, and he won’t try to upsell you on stupid stuff.
