Excellent Job !

Casey came back a few days later and lowered the scope down into the pipe. He could not find anything clogging up the drain and suggested replacing the toilet. He had the new toilet installed fairly fast and it's been working like a charm! The old toilet definitely was the problem. We have had the new one for almost one month now without a single clog!

I called to request a service man to change out my water heater. I thought I needed a new one, because I did not have any hot water. I called in the morning requesting someone come the same day. I was scheduled for that afternoon. The service man called ahead and arrived on time. When he saw the water heater, he said he thought all I needed were new elements and new thermostats, which would be half of the cost of replacing the tank. He did the job quickly, was very pleasant and he was right! My initial telephone call was handled very nicely, efficiently and pleasantly.

I used the company before in an emergency situation where they had to replace the water heater quickly due to water seeping into the house. I was completely satisfied with their job and price. I therefore decided to use them again for this job. Set up the appointment without any problem, was quoted $78.00 / hour plus materials. Adrian - he's becoming my favourite plumber - showed up, removed the plastic pipes and dry wall and explained what needed to be done. Gave me an estimate of $940 for breaking open the wall, putting in the pipes to make the change from one to two outlets. He couldn't finish the job the same day (came in the p.m.) and got back on Saturday (although they usually don't work weekends for regular jobs) to finish up. All in all he spent about 6 hours to get the work done. Cleaned up the worksite once he was done. He'll be back - estimate $500 plus - to put in the sink and faucets once the cabinet top is in place.

The toilet overflowed because the water wouldn't stop running. I called American Plumbing, and they said someone could get to me by the same afternoon. When the technician arrived, he determined that the toilet pump needed replacing and replaced it. It solved the problem, and I haven't had a problem since.

I hired American Plumbing based on their reputation through this site. I was told the date that the work could be done, and expected a call to tell me a time frame. When no call came, I called around, at 10 am and was told the plumber would be there by 3PM. He arrived around noon, and performed the work as expected. Unfortunately, the old heater was drained onto my brick paver driveway, leaving a disgusting mess for me to clean up. Why it was not drained into the grass, just a few feet away, I do not know.

They all do a good job - don't leave a mess - here on time!

Plumber was on time. Sink was off center, so plumber had to go back to shop for parts. Work was done in a timely manner and area was left clean.

The plumber was on time and diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. He was very polite and had everything fixed in a little over an hour, even though the corroded flange did not come out easily. I felt the price was very reasonable and a week later everything is still working fine.

I shopped around as soon as I noticed that the water heater was leaking. Out of four companies two, didn't return the call and the other one quoted six hours later, between $1600 to $1800, excluding tax and permit. Bob called back within 90 minutes after requesting a quote. When calling the next day after water started seeping into the house, they showed up four hours later with the new heater and got the job done. Adrian the installer was really nice and did an excellent job. I'd definitely use them again.

Due to the threat of hurricane Ernesto on Aug 28 & 29, I called American 8/29 to learn whether our 8/30 appt. would be delayed. No info was available on the recorded message. I called on 8/30 & learned our job was on schedule & the tech was loading the truck for our job. I gave them directions to our house. About 5 minutes later the tech calls from his truck for directions. I gave them to him. He arrived about 8:30 am and asked if I had been given a price for the job. I had not. He completed the job about 9:10 am. Aftering siting in his truck writing the bill for at least 5 minutes he billed me TWO hours. I complained so he begrudgingly agreed to make it 1 1/2 hrs but after fumbling with his papers he didn't change it. I got upset at that & he said he'd make it ONE hr to make me happy! He re-writes it & bills 1.5 hrs. I was unhappy but paid to get done with him. All the discussion about the bill & him calling his office for help & processing my credit card took another 15 minutes!

I was very satisfied with the service provided by this company. The plumber (Eric) was very polite, explained each step as he did it, very courteous (removed shoes upon entering house). He also was on time for the repairs (even a little early). The total cost was approximately $1500 less than another estimate we had received. Very satisfied with company.

The man that came did try to fix the toilet. I just thought that some of the cost should be applied to a new toilet if we ordered it through them. They were prompt in their service.

Punctual. Work done seems to be fine.

They are good to work with over the phone. They have someone in the office who takes calls. They are prompt, clean, and do the job right. They seem to be fair in their pricing as well.

I explained to them over the phone what I needed done and they were able to tell me exactly what they were going to do before they even come out. I have an older home and they were able to make the repairs to my shower without removing all of the wall tiles. They were very polite and didn't look down on me even though I was a woman, knowledgible, took the time to explain everything to me and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. They did a marvelous job!

I called them and they came out within an hour (even on a Saturday). They did a good job, they were polite. It seems that the price was good.

THEY WERE CONSTANTLY CHANGING THEIR PRICE. IT TOOK THEM A WHILE TO GET THE MATERIALS THAT THEY NEEDED AND GET SQUARED AWAY. EVERYTHING WENT VERY SMOOTHLY AFTER THAT. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST. THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY TO USE. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CHARGED US A VERY GOOD PRICE. THEY WORKED VERY HARD. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.

THEY WERE FINE. I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. THEY CAME AND GOT THE JOB DONE FASTER THAN I THOUGHT AND I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE OVERALL RESULTS. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR YEARS. THEY CONTINUE TO DO AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY ALWAYS KNOW WHAT IS WRONG RIGHT AWAY. THEY GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY WHEN WE CALLED THEM. THEY BROUGHT THE STOOL WITH THEM SO WE DIDN'T NEED TO PURCHASE ONE. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THE PLUMBING.

AMERICAN PLUMBING WAS VERY EFFICIENT, AND SAVED ME A LOT OF TIME IN LOCATING, AND REPAIRING A PIPE THAT WAS LEAKING IN MY FLOOR. THEY DID NOT MAKE A BIG MESS, AND WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY OF WHERE TO FIND THE LEAKING PIECE.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME OUT A FEW HOURS AFTER WE HAD CALLED THEM. THEY CAME PREPARED WITH ANOTHER PIPE. THEY CLEANED UP ALL THE WATER WHEN THEY WERE DONE.
