Everything went perfectly. Adrian was very knowledgeable about his field, and he explained what had happened very clearly. Now, there is one thing that I would like to emphasize at this point. As I noted above, Adrian diagnosed the root of the problem as a simple clogging issue, and I was relieved to hear that, rather than having heard him tell me that the unit was "shot," and that I needed a new one. What I am trying to get at is this --- Adrian could have easily have told me that I needed a new system, which would have cost me over $200, but he didn't. So, what I would like any reader to take out of my review . . . the Moral to the Story, if you will . . . is that American Plumbing, Inc. is an HONEST COMPANY, and in this day and age, that speaks volumes. A solid, and well-deserved, thumbs-up to Adrian, and to American Plumbing.

I called American Plumbing around 8:15-30 AM in the morning, and was told by Marlene that she would have a time that a repairmen would be able to come within a half hour. I called back and was told that someone would be able to come out around 10:00 AM. Mark, the service man, was very pleasant, and told my Mother that the leak was very bad and that the unit needed to be replaced. They called me and I told them to go ahead. Mark replaced the old unit with a Rheem unit, and installed some new pipe work. He completed the job and left the area very clean. We are very grateful that they came so quickly and did such a good job. Would definitely recommend them. Thanks.

Repairman fixed about 4 different items that were not working properly. I like the fact that they charged by the hour and not by the job. The only thing I was not happy about was that I had a 10% off Angie's List Coupon which stated it was an American Plumbing Inc. Coupon 10% off for Angie's List Members. I would assume the whole job including parts and labor would be discounted the 10% but instead they only gave 10% off on the parts. He did do a good job and he actually was there less than I thought he would be for all that he had to do. But I just don't think that was right to say 10% off and not state that it was only on Parts. Coupon should be worded differently. Just thought whoever uses them should know that upfront. But on the whole I was extremely happy with their work. This is the second time that I have used their services.

It went very well. They were very puctual and professional. They explained the problem to me and then addressed the issue. Eric was the technician who came out today and he was very courteous and patient. Everything was done to my satisfaction and the prices were reasonable according to the quote.

Smoke test did not reveal any problems. Repairman also checked attic.

Lines cleaned and checked via T-V camera. A piece of plastic was found in the line.

He came in and my snake to unclog the toilet was out, he used it very quickly, it only took him one swipe. He wanted me to change the tank but I knew it wasn’t necessary. He said it wasn’t filling but I knew it was working fine. He pulled it out wanting to replace so I told him I had the replacement. Looking at it later the tank wasn't even filling the whole way, I had to reset it myself. He wanted to sell me something. Since he was there and had extra time I asked him to look at the nose bib and I felt like he over charged me. When the bill came he wouldn't offer me the discount because his boss changed his mind and only wanted to offer the discount on material and not on the labor. He wouldn't contact his boss to check about the discount, I had to call his boss myself to ask about the discount. I spoke to 3 people at Angie's List to prove to him I was a member, even though he knew it because of the previous time he was here. I even put him on the phone with 2 of them. He charged me for the whole time we were working out the issue, 40-45 minutes, instead of just the time he spent working.

American Plumbing Inc were professional and they came the same day. The price was good and they were very helpful. Thanks to American Plumbing, we found out that the problem was that a root of a tree was creating the blockage.

Overall experience was good. Plumber was nice, explained everything and fixed the problem. The only complaint I have was explanation of pricing. Originally I called on Sunday and I was told for weekend rates is $195 but if I waited til Monday it would be $125. Then I asked do they work after 5pm on week days. The answer was yes. So I scheduled my service for Monday @ 5pm thinking it will be $125.00 But I wasn't told that after 5pm appt. on week days is $195. If I knew that Sunday i would have let them come same day I called. They were still cheaper than most companies and did good job.

Evaluation appointment was with Mike Casey who arrived on time. After explaining issue in kitchen Mike determined problem by opening up small area in back of kitchen cabinet below sink. Issue: waste arm was leaking. He took the time to show me the problem and discuss options of how to tackle repair. Repair appointment was set. Gary arrived on repair day...very professional and respectful. Repair required jack hammering of exterior concrete wall, removal of bad copper pipe, replacement with PVC pipe and patching of concrete wall. Gary worked effeciently and left the home clean.

I requested quotes from a few different Angies Listed plumbing companies. American Plumbing responded quickly, and offered the best price. I made an 8AM appointment to repair the toilet fill valve. Eric (the plumber) called 30 minutes before to let me know that he was on the way then arrived right on time. Eric was friendly and explained the cause of the issue. He repaired the toilet quickly, and gave me some good recommendations. I am very happy with the service and would recommend American Plumbing and Eric.

Due to the fact that the customer before me took longer than expected, Adrian ran a few minutes late. He did call me to let me know and showed up a few minutes later. Not really any kind of issue. Adrian took care of the repairs quickly and cleaned up after himself. I'll definitely call American Plumbing next time I need some plumbing work done. I'll also request Adrian.

I had two problems: leak under the sink and leak under the refrigerator. My old disposal (4 years old) was completely rusted and corroded from improper installation by another company. The old one had to be cut out with a large electric saw. A new one was installed. It was a little time consuming because of the work involved removing the old one. Second problem: copper tubing to ice maker had to be replaced. Work was completed quickly and efficiently.

Fine- Really Great- Danny is terrific. My husband passed away. He took care of this stuff so I was nervous. Danny, explained everything. Took time to show me as the job was being done. Took away the old stuff.

Spoke to Maggie. Very nice and helpful but I found a better priced company

I called on Wednesday 10/3 and they were able to schedule me for the next day. When I called the morning of 10/4 to get a feel for the scheduling I was told I could expect a plumber at between 11 AM and 12 noon. Adrian called me at 11:45 AM and said he was on his way. Arrived promptly and got the job done in a little less than 2 hours. Adrian was very courteous and professional. The hose bib required some extra work which he handled with no problem.

Angie's List is why I called them. Danny was the plumber who came and did work. Called before hand and was early, which I appreciated. When I called, Mike the owner said before noon. Danny came at 10:00. Great! Danny did an excellent job-also replaced valves. Cleaned up everything and checked to make sure there was no leaks. I was very pleased with him and his work. Ps. Mike was not real friendly on the phone when I made the appointment but since he was rated so high I took the chance. I was glad I did.

Ok. Called the company about 10am and was told someone could come in 1 -2 hours. They eventually came 5 hours later around 3pm. The plumber was really nice but took a little longer than desired as he had to go borrow a longer auger and then go buy one that wasn't mangled from home depot. He also did not do a good job cleaning up after he left. I was most disappointed in the cost. Ive had other toilets unclogged in the past for much less.

Mike came earlier than scheduled. He was friendly and efficient. He explained the problem to me in simple terminology which was nice. They were the cheapest ones in area.

He did a great job from start to finish - very helpful and careful.

I am very satisfied with the professionalism and responsiveness of American Plumbing. They conducted the work as discussed and fixed the problem.
