+ -1 moreI had my fence installed in Oct 2014 ... they did not poor enough cement to hold it up to hurricane this past August ... this same company installed another part of my property in 2004 and that fence came through the hurricane just fine .... they use subs to install their fences, the sub in 2004 did an excellent job but the 2014 sub for American cut corners ... i emailed and called American after the storm and they never returned my calls or emails.

+ -1 moreNot only did he build the fence on my neighbors property, which he did not want to fix, but he would not return my calls when I was trying to get back my original docs on my property survey. I had to "trade" final payment and have a lawyer call him before I could get my survey back.
Description of Work: Hired this company to come install backyard wood shadowbox fence on a corner cul-de-sac lot.. about 10K sq ft.

+ 0 moreFront yard fence was installed in August 2015. Received a notice in the mail from the city in January 2016 saying that the permit was still open and expiring, needed city inspection. Called American Fence company over a dozen times to sort it out, kept on giving excuses, then they stopped taking our calls or returning them. We paid them to take care of the permit and inspections, so this is very unprofessional and annoying. Finally received a call that they were going to take care of it......still waiting.
Description of Work: Fence installation on front sides of house.

+ -1 moreDo not use American Fence out of Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale. They do not stand by their word and do not care about their customers. Worse experience I ever had after spending so much money.
Description of Work: Had a shadow box fence installed. Company installed cracked support 4x4 posts. When confronting the owner of company, Barry, about posts first he said do not worry you have warranty. Checked my contract only to find the warranty does not cover cracked wood. After threatening not to pay for remaining balance owner agreed to replace all cracked and broken wood, which should have never been installed to begin with. Company sent out 2 workers on Labor Day weekend, un- announced, after me telling owner to let me know when he is replacing the posts because I want to be there, and replaced some of the broken posts. I called owner again to tell him there were still many posts cracked and we're not replaced. He said he was done and is not sending anyone else out and mint replacing any more posts.
