A GREAT experience from start to finish. They were quick to come out for an appointment and on time. Perry Birman was wonderful. He displayed the choices and helped design the space to fit just our needs. We never felt any pressure and he was able to draw out and give us a quote right on the spot so we knew what to expect. The installation was timely and the installers professional and curtious. They were careful with other furniture and walls bringing in the materials and cleaned up compleatly after themselves. We have had our share of nightmares regarding home remodeling but this was nothing of the sort. The company has integrity...something you don't find much of these days!!! I highly recommend ABClosets to anyone!

The entire process was great. Perry gave me an estimate about a year ago and with my busy work schedule, I was unable to move forward until now. He was very patient and accomodating throughout the entire process. Perry was especially helpful in providing advice on how to design the closets as he obviously has a lot of experience. He was also very accomodating of my schedule, and met my goal of installing the closets in two weeks. The installation took one and a half days. Two guys showed up for the installation and called about a half hour before they arrived on time on both days. They were both very hardworking and personable - I think their names were Jared and Nuema. They even helped me empty out the two master closets so that I could put a fresh coat of paint on the walls before they installed the custom cabinetry and shelves the next day. They finished at about lunchtime on Friday and were great about cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend American Built-In closets to anyone that is looking to put in some custom closets. My closets look beautiful; I could not be happier with the results. Thanks Perry!

Design of the closets took a bit of time and back and forth, but we got the plan worked out to my satisfaction, and as homeowner, I am very happy. Price was in the ballpark of other quotes I had gotten, and I chose this company mainly because I dealt with the owner, not an employee, (and he and I view things similarly politically). Installation was done in one day, for all 5 closets (three large wall closets and two walk-in closets). Neat, precise, professional and tidy, and I would definitely hire this company again. Very accommodative regarding the installation date. This company worked around my scheduling, and that was great and very much appreciated.

Immediate response from start to finish! from requesting an appointment for an estimate to making an appoinment, installers calling stating they were on their way and arriving on time. I went with 3 estimates and decided to go with ABC Closets because of all the "A"rate reviews from previous customers, not to menton a great design for much less money than other closet installers. Arrived on date promised, courteous and skilled and love the job they did.

I found ABC's Closet and chose them because they looked like the best. I spoke with Perry over the phone, explained that I bought a new pre-construction home with an odd-shaped closet and that I needed a custom built closet for my master Bedroom. He came out the following week to take measurements and give me a quote. He was professional, funny, and very realistic with my budget and my wants for the closet. We agreed on the quote and deposit. He even looked at my other closets just in case I wanted to do them in the future. He was patient with me giving him my deposit, due to the fact I had to move some money around. I was out of town on the Thursday when he had to build the closet, so I left a spare key since there was nothing in the house yet. His workers not only removed the wire rack that were there, they also patched the walls where there were holes. I explained to Perry that I wouldn't be back in town until Sunday and I would pay him Monday. He happily agreed. When I entered my house, I couldn't even tell someone had been in it. His workers left everything spotless. I was extremly happy with the punctuality, professionalism, and trusty worthy attitude.

After taking measurements and sitting to show us pictures from the salesbook, he told us he would do a layout and come up with a rough cost estimate in a day or so. Didn't hear back from him even a week later. I emailed him and he responded with "...just another day or so." We emailed three times and telephoned three times. The receptionist told us twice that he would definitely get the messages. Finally I called a last time and told the receptionist that we haven't heard back from him and that we were disappointed that he didn't even have the professionalism or courtesy to return our calls or emails. If he didn't want the job, he could have just said so. We were holding up two other very interested companies to give him a fair chance. Obviously that wasn't important enough.

I was concerned about getting the work done before moving in, but Perry assured me that he would get it done. In fact, he called and asked if he could start a couple of days early. That gave me peace of mind. When the work was completed, I had one small issue, and Perry assured me that his worker would come back and fix it the following Tuesday. His worker showed up on time and fixed the issue entirely to my satisfaction. Perry was very easy to deal with, very professional, on time, and delivered everything he promised. I highly recommend his work and love Angie's List for the great service it has provided in my move and renovation of a new home.

I contacted American Closets based on the positive reviews from Angie's List and was very pleased from start to finish. Perry arrived on time for my estimate and with a pen and pad, sketched the plans, paying close attention to detail. He was insightful and helpful. I chose the closet colors and hardware. His estimate was $1,000.00 less than that of Closet Factory's and their fancy computer design program. The installers came 3 weeks later as scheduled on time and did an excellent job with the installation and cleaning. I was so pleased with the results that I called the company and personally praised and thanked Perry. I highly recommend this team of professionals.

American Built-In Closets was very professional. He came out to give me an estimate and followed up with me afterwards because we had to postpone the date for the work, because he had a supply program. He was courteous. When he came out, something wasn't measured correctly, so there was a two inch gap on one of the sides. We didn't notice it until they left without informing us. He came back and fixed it. He put a piece of strip just to close that gap. I never heard back from the owner. I had expected him to call me and to apologize or to give me a discount or to do something. My husband called him a few days later to tell him he didn't do it right. The owner apologized and told my husband he's going to make it right, but he never did. It wasn't done right. At the minimum, I expected him to call and apologize and give us a discount. Besides that, the work was good. They were very professional, but they left, knowing that there was a gap and not telling us.

Very positive experience. Found American Built-in Closets here on Angie's List. I called Perry and he promptly returned the call and scheduled an site visit appointment. Perry was very perceptive of our needs and wants for this home. He quickly put together a detailed estimate of the requirements and we approved them. Closets were installed on time and very professionally. Everything was very organized and went forward without any issues. Overall - this was a flawless effort.

Perry showed up exactly on time. Designed a walk in closet, a hall closet, 2nd bedroom closet and bathroom closet with drawers. Understood exactly what I was looking for and added some very useful suggestions. Promised to have the job installed a week later and all closets completed the same day. Guys showed up exactly when scheduled and were terrific! They did an amazing job even exposing an outlet that hadn't been accounted for! Job looks even better then anticipated. 100% pleased! Would strongly recommend to everyone! Almost forgot to mention, best prices out there!!!

I contacted the company after I found out my neighbor used them for his closets. They came out, gave me a quote that was fair and we booked the appointment. They guys showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up when they were done. It was like majic. I would use them again.

We actually had a very rocky start. I made arrangements by taking the day off and waiting for the installation between 9 and 9:30AM. I tried to call and contact Perry bc nobody had shown up by 12 noon. I was not getting any responses and was EXTREMELY frustrated. Installers showed up around 12:30 and got the job done and were very professional, even making sure to clean up after. Long story short, I learned that Perry was on a religious holiday and was not able to have contact via phone or email. We talked the next day and all was forgiven. I had some shelves I needed to add and a laundry basket that didn't work out, he gladly helped me resolve this. In the end, it ended up being a great experience but got off to a rocky start. I would definitely do business again. Sometimes it's not how you start, it's how you finish, Thank You Perry and American Built in Closets!!!

Perry called to st appointment. He arrived promptly at agreed time, left a detailed estimate. We agreed on price and date to complete job. Perry had a cancellation and was able to finish the job 2 days earlier than expected. This was a huge help!

I had read reviews on Angies about Perry and really wondered if this guy was for real. He was all that everyone had said and more. I had a house under construction and had 2 other closet companies out to give bids. One did not even give a drawing or price bcause she wanted me to come into the show room to "sell" me on upgrades. What my husband and I liked best was that Perry sat and drew out the plans, was direct, gave us a price, negotiated, and we signed a contract that moment. DONE. The closets were in in 10 days. Professional. On time. Courteous. Quiet. Wore booties on request because I had new wood floors. The installers had a lot to deal with because of my older home having uneven walls. They didn't say a word. Just dealt with it. Perry's design for the tight kids closets are perfect. He even helped me out with my master closet that wasn't even part of the contracted deal ;) what a business guy. This man wants to make the customer happy. And he does. Please make your life easier and just stop looking further. I've already made a friend happy and she has used him too. Lucky you!!! You are done!

I bought a new home and wanted the closets done before my move came in. I called and Perry was there in no time. We reviewed all the work to be done, he explained many details about the type of materials, designs and options. We even walked to the model homes as I wanted him to convey and explain some ideas from details I had seen on the model homes. He provided a prompt estimate with all the drawings for each closet and cabinets, and we worked to get it to the point we needed it to be. We were not sure about the big desk (I mean, big) since it was by far the most expensive piece, but we did not want to deal with another contractor or leave it for later, so we went ahead and signed and gave ABC my deposit. I was not going to be available for the installation process, so I had someone come in and open the house for Perry's team, so the work was done with little supervision. I came in a couple of days later and everything was just perfect. At that point, I called Perry so that he could come and collect the remaining amount due. No pressure, all seemed pretty much like old-fashioned "trust" business. It is good to know that there are still people you can do business like that out there.

On the day of the install there were two people who came in and did their job. They were again very professional and cleaned after they completed the work. The work got completed on time. My wife wanted some changes as there was slight miss-communication after the work was completed. We called Perry and he accommodated our request next day at no extra cost.

The experience went very well. I think the guy that came was the owner. He did our estimate and worked with us well. There is nothing to complain about.

Perry provided us a quote in our home. He arrived on time and was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. We agreed on price and product, and his crew arrived on the date we set. They arrived on time and could not have been more polite, respectful, clean, and professional. They finished the job in less time than they had envisioned, they cleaned up after themselves, and installed some top quality closets, just as we had agreed to with Perry. We would recommend American Built-in Closets to anyone and would happily use them again in the future.

Perry came to measure, gave us and estimate and the job was completed within the next few weeks, at our convenience. The job was perfect, well done.When we moved into the house, I discovered that I didn't have enough shelves for shoes as well as a few other things. I called Perry, gave him what extras I needed and poof, that day, he not only had the shelves for me, but delivered them to my home. A terrific experience all around.... use him!

Perry and his crew created a fanastic organized area for my rental unit. Perry and the crew were on time for both the estimate and the job. The closet became exactly what I had envisioned and even more efficient than I had hoped. The space is more user-friendly with more shelving than I thought we would even be able to obtain. The crew did the work in two to three hours. Everything promised was fulfilled and I look forward to working with Perry and his team again soon.
