Always Green Sprinklers

We were in the process of landscaping our front yard. We showed Always Green our design layout and they adjusted heads to fit our landscaping needs. Everything was completed in a timely manner. We would highly recommend Always Green Sprinklers.

Great service I have used them several times since the first repair. They are quick, professional and very reasonably priced.

Two man team arrived on time and were very professional. Worked through a light drizzle. Quickly replaced the pump. Walked around and checked all of the sprinkler heads and fixed the broken ones. Even showed me how to set the timer. Answered any questions i had and responded to any concerns. I was given an estimate over the phone. Not only was the estimate exactly what was charged (including a 10% discount on labor due to being a angies list customer) I was also not charged extra for fixing and recalibrating several sprinkler heads. Highly recommended.

Phil was prompt, professional, and did an excellent job.

They were nice on the phone but as they started working, the prices began to rise. They went to Home Depot to buy a timer for about $55 and they charged me $224. They asked for more money to finish the job, but I eventually had to ask them to leave because they continually asked for more money. $500 more to finish the job! I was told a different price on the phone... Afterwards, they actually asked me to say good things about them online because he claims that people always say good things about him online. I called the owner to complain and in the end he said he would call back to discuss the completion; however, he still hasn't called back. I would not recommend this company to anyone! My sprinklers still don't work, even after paying them $936!

I was the property manager for a company that owned 60+ single family and small apartment buildings. Based on Angie's list I first hired them to check out two sprinkler systems at two townhomes in Ft. Lauderdale. They were prompt, efficient and very cost effective. Based on that experience I engaged them to work on a number of properties in Hallandale Beach and as in my first experience they were always prompt, efficient and very cost effective. Their persoanl were very pleasant to work with and I highly recommend them for their professionalism.

The owner is very knowledgeable, which makes it a pleasure to speak with him. They were quick to respond and completed the job thoroughly and professionally. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for all my properties.

They were good. They were fairly price. I had to wait a couple of days because it was the busy time of the year after the drought. It wasn’t the most prompt but it was in the fall. So it was just the time of the year and everybody’s lawns were drying up that time. I thought I had one issue and then when they came, it wasn’t that issue at all. So they were very honest. They didn’t try to fix something that wasn’t really broken.

After reading several reviews on Angie's List, I called Always Green. I described the problem, and over the phone, the person I spoke to speculated what the problem might be based on my description. He was UPFRONT about the hourly labor charges, explaining the initial hourly rate as well as the subsequent charges by the half-hour. When I told him I found them on Angie's List, he reminded me of the coupon that was available fo 10% off the Labor charges. He then gave me a 4 hour window for the crew to arrive the next day. 30 minutes prior to arriving, I received a call that they were on their way. As promised, Mike and Lawrence arrived and we had a short chat to confirm what problems I was experiencing. Mike turned the pump on and immediately noticed that the pump had lost its prime, and said that the check valve might be faulty. They headed down to the bank of the canal and noticed that where the pipe entered the canal that there were wheel marks dug in from our landscape company's mower. They dug up the pipe and found it to be cracked. They repaired this in minutes, and went to prime the pump. The hose connection to the pump was bad, so they replaced it. Once the pump was primed, they checked the zone valve and found that it was not switching correctly. They brought the appropriate parts from the truck and repaired the valve. They then checked and re-aimed all of my sprinkler heads, replacing 2 that were broken. Lastly, they checked that my timer was set correctly and operating properly. When all work was completed, Mike came to the door, took my Angie's List coupon, went over the charges and made sure I was satisfied with the explanation of repairs. Just one last note on the professionalism and honesty of this company. The job was finished just short of 1 hour from the crew's arrival. It would have been very easy for them to lag just a little longer and incur an additional 1/2 hour labor charge. Instead, it appears they made the effort to stay within the initial 1 hour. I appreciate all their efforts, and have found a sprinkler/irrigation contractor for life..

I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in services provided by Always Green Sprinklers. I contracted with this company because of their high rating on Angie?s List. I spoke to Phil (owner and sales representative) about the problem I was having with my irrigation system?s automatic timer setting, and that I have had this problem for some time and that another company had not been successful in troubleshooting the root of the problem. ( The challenge: when the timer was scheduled to cover four zones, the system consistently skipped the same zone?the front lawn. It went through the cycle, coming on 4 times, but skipping the same zone. Consequently, the front lawn never got water and one of the other zones received double. I varied which zone would come on first?it still skipped the front regardless of its position in the cycle. I explained that I could ?force? the zone on (manually), but on automatic it still skipped the front every time; though, as I reported, the pump made a noise not heard on other zones' start-up.) I gave Phil all the symptoms as I observed them. Phil responded that it is probably a value problem? it may need cleaning or possibly replacement. When the team arrived on the service day, there appeared to be no trouble-shooting in the plan?simply clean it out or replace the valve unit. I agreed on replacement, being assured that this would solve the problem. It did not! The problem persisted without any change what-so-ever?the same zone continues to skip. A call to Phil resulted in very little concern for the persistent issue. Finally, he sent another team out. Again, no trouble-shooting?they simply replace the valve stem. Needless to say, I still have the initial problem (it continues to skip the front lawn zone). Yet another call to Phil was totally unproductive. ?Our man checked the system before they left and it was working fine.? I reminded him that I never had a problem getting it to work ?manually!? The problem is the scheduled cycle! Phil?s response was that this is ?impossible!? I invited him to come trouble-shoot the system personally. He declined and suggested that I didn?t know what I was talking about. ?Do you stay up all night to see that all the zones are working? How do you know the zone is not coming on?? Frustrated, Phil said he would call back, but has not. We left for a month?s vacation, but gratefully it rained nearly every day we were gone. We returned to a green lawn, but no thanks to Always Green Sprinklers. I am not satisfied with this company's ?solution? nor the owner's ?attitude.? I sense that I paid for an un-necessary replacement, with the same persistent problem exactly as when I started. I regret that I cannot recommend Always Green Sprinklers.

I am a repeat customer and has been always satisfied with their work. This time I mentioned needing special connections in my flower garden to cover the garden pots. They did an excellent job.

The price wasn't the issue. It's just that they didn't inform me before doing the work. They didn't clean up after themselves. It wasn't that much, but they should've cleaned. I wouldn't recommend them.

The response time from when I left the message was good. The tradesman that performed the job were on time, professional and expeditious. The price seemed very fair. I would use this provider again and have recommended them to friends who also have been pleased with the service.

Excellent - service crew was prompt very polite and professional - all work was done and reviewed for my satisfaction before the crew left the property.

The biggest complaint I have is that the provider did not clean up the mess that was made during the installation. Additionally, I was verbally accosted by one of the provider's supervisors when I complained about the mess.

These guys are awesome. They started on time, even though I was an hour late to arrive. they were quick, but also very thorough as they discovered an underground break that I was not aware, dug it up and fixed it without question. The price was as expected and I would highly recommend them.

They are terrific. They have come out twice. They were here yesterday morning. They were done in twenty minutes. They fixed our sprinkler. They knew what they were doing. They checked all our sprinklers and adjusted everything.

Nice service, on time, they didn't leave until I was 100% satisfied with the service. I have already recommended them to friends.

They were on time and very professional. They gave us several options on how we could fix and enhance the system, some for little or cost. They completed the service and the changes we had requested all on the first trip. The system has worked very well, and we have seen a decrease in our overall water usage, however the landscape looks great!

We reached out to Always Green via web contact and got a call back within a day. The pricing schedule was clearly explained and the ballpark estimate was very close to the final cost. Due to conflicting schedules and travel the work was performed a couple of weeks later. The technicians arrived exactly as scheduled and worked every minute of the hour and one-half it took to inspect, adjust and replace sprinkler heads on our 6 zone lawn irrigation system. They also recommended adding a head to a spot that was not adequately covered and did that installation too. We also asked for an estimate to replace the system controller and received the estimate in writing before the technicians left.

This isn't the first time I've used Always Green Sprinklers. Although I've found that they are maybe 7-10% more expensive than others, I have found the extra cost worth it because they do a great job, are always on time, very courteous, and remember who I am when I call them in the future. This company is worth your time!

I have used this company before and they always do good work. The process went very well the workers arrived on time performing the work in a professional and friendly manner. They also sent a follow up letter to ensure I was satisfied with the service.

NOT GOOD I made my called based on what I read, that is why I called you. No where in the reviews said you charged by the hour, as far as the reviews that I read, which were the most recent at the time, otherwise I would not call or given this review . As I don't go around bad mouthing people. In any case, just wanted people to know you charge by the hour. It hard for someone to ask to come to do a job that we don't know how long is going to take to evaluate and not know what is going to cost prior to it, without not knowing how long it will take..it could add up to a lot of money, that the client might not have. If it take 8 hrs. and you charge $125 p hr. that's a 1k just on labor not counting parts. If someone charges a standard fee to evaluate and then inform the client what it will cost it will be a little bit more easier to handle.
