Description of Work: They checked two units, all electrical, flush drain, filters.

Description of Work: Easy to schedule, on time, and friendly; however it was a very light duty, visual inspection of my blower and outdoor compressor. No technical checks, such as Freon or air temperature, were performed. Only opening a panel to look at the coils and checking the drain pipe. Will use them one more time since I already paid for 2 visits, but don't expect to use for anything else. It was wasted money for their 'no tech' inspection.

Description of Work: Our A/C died on a Sunday morning (of course). One company came out and diagnosed a dead compressor...it was clearly fried. Offered to replace for $1895. After speaking with a friend who installed A/C systems for years we decided to go with replacing the outdoor unit and air handler since our handler was approx 23 years old. |ATC quote was over $450 more for the same unit Aloha Air quoted. |Aloha came out and quoted on Monday morning, and installed everything that very same afternoon. |They kept us well informed from start to finish, tech worked at a steady pace and offered advice on keeping the unit running as it should. |Seemed much more powerful than the unit it replaced even though both were 4 ton units. I sent a list of questions to Aloha, they sent a supervisor the next day to review the installation and he wrote down an answer for every question I had since I was unable to be present for the inspection |They also drove to my place of work with the permit documents so I wouldn't need to take more time off...nice touch. |My only negative was that the unit was not fastened to the concrete pad, which I only discovered through my curiosity to see what fasteners were used (I work in the fastener industry). No-one ever answered what would have happened if I hadn't discovered this omission. It should be a part of the technicians check list going forward. |That said, they were a very good company to deal with and I would recommend to others, and use again (though hopefully I will never need to).

Description of Work: I needed a bid to clean coils on our ac unit. I called Aloha since I had known them from my past employer. They sent a very knowledgable man the same day to provide an estimate free of charge. He also talked to me about replacing the ac unit since it is 9 years old. Although I did not choose them I would consider using them in the future.

Description of Work: Tech came to inspect a/c unit. He was very thorough, and detailed. He climbed into the attic and inspected every corner taking pictures and notes. My a/c is very old and needs to be replaced. He and his team at Aloha put together an estimate for me that was fair and offered additional options for improving the efficiency of the the new unit by increasing the return and repairing some of the ducts ( the estimate for this work was reasonable) Overall, I am very pleased with their professionalism, pricing, and responsiveness. Tech also took my call late on Sunday and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, so I could reset my a/c unit. I will be using them to purchase and install my new unit.
