I'll start by saying, I never write negative reviews so for me to have to leave a review, a negative one at that, my experience had to have been pretty bad. I recently purchased a property from a seller (older widowed lady) who got their roof done only 3 years ago by Almeida. The roof started leaking in two rooms of the house. I do want to mention that Chris and Almeida took advantage of her and charged her $33,000 to replace only a PORTION of the roof before I bought the property. I then asked the seller for the company who replaced the roof and called the company immediately. I didn't have any issues with the receptionists but I was transferred to Chris who is the "Manager." I told him about the leaking roof and LITERALLY the first thing that came out of his mouth was "We don't transfer warranties to new ownership." So right then and there there he is evading responsibility for their mistake of not installing the roof properly. Mind you, the roof was replaced only 3 years ago. So it should not be leaking. So after I mentioned to him to at least look at the roof, let alone fixing his mistake. I told him "don't you think it's a bit unethical to not correct your mistake. After i said that, he started stuttering and couldn't answer the question. He then said he would come look at the roof. It was quite difficult to get him out there because the unit is occupied with a tenant. However, every time I would call the company to try to set up a time i was spoken to each time in a condescending manor. Every time I called the tone and attitude was if I was a burden to them for a mistake THEY MADE with the roof. The seller also called more than once trying to help the situation, and Chris was rude to her. I confronted Chris about his tone and attitude and he continued to be condescending and rude. I literarily couldn't believe he was talking to a customer this way. I asked for a copy of the warranty and he refused to give it to me. He also said do "car oil changes come with warranties? So why would we fix the roof?" Like are you serious?! And there were several other things that really shouldn't be said to a customer. When he finally came to look at the roof he then lied and said someone went on top of the roof and messed with the roof which is why it's leaking. Nobody has been on top of that roof since they replaced the portion they charged the widowed lady $33,000 to replace it. He then went on to say that the only way to fix the roof would be to purchase a warranty from them... Lastly I would say as someone who fix and flips houses and buy's a lot of rental properties. I need a roof replaced or fixed every other month. You missed out on a potential client that could have been extremely valuable to your company. Instead, your ego and pride got in the way. It's seriously a shame. Chris, if you truly are the "Manager" I feel bad for the company. If you are the "Manager" the company is definitely in trouble.

They were extremely disappointing and they never followed through. They came for an estimate, I wanted to go over the estimate and asked them to return to the property and they never did.

We thought we might have a leak and wanted to have someone come take a look. We found Almeida on Angie's list and based on other positive reviews, I made a call hoping they could send someone out to take a look that same day. I spoke to Chris who asked a few questions, was very friendly and professional and told me he could come out or send someone that afternoon. He came through as promised and was very friendly and helpful in assessing our situation. Luckily we had no serious issues and he was nice enough to advise us on next steps. Very friendly and professional and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family and will certainly call them next time we have any roof issues.

They were prompt and reasonable. They did everything they said they would.

Job went very well. All workers very professional, courteous, and prompt with their appointments. All permits pulled, inspections done and kept in communication with me with each phase of job completion. We had used Almeida over 22 years ago to put new tiles on our house after Hurriane Andrew. Thank you.

The guy that I initially talked to was nice but he took a while to get back to me. When we made the schedule, it was a different guy who met with me. He didn't really know a whole lot and just gave me some basic information and he took the measurements but didn't really have a whole lot of knowledge about roof as compared to the other people from other companies that I called. It wasn't the most professional thing.

These guys were great. After getting estimates from 3 different roofers they were a little less than the others. They did a fantastic job, finished a day ahead of schedule and cleaned everything up afterwards. They definitely exceeded my expectations.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn’t like. They are professional. They are extremely customer oriented. They pay attention to detail. Their estimates are in depth and inclusive of everything. They gave me options for everything. I would absolutely use them in the future.
