Allied Roofing and Sheet Metal company provided excellent workmanship in stopping my roof leakage over my garage. Their roofing crew very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for any roofing issues and would use them again.

Allied roofing and Sheet Metal did an excellent job. A+. The only minor issue was the gutter group. Sloppy and ripped off some of the eaves. Allied fixed it. This the second time I have used Allied and recommend a neighbor. She too was very happy

Sent unqualified workers after 8 weeks, did not know details of estimate. Asked to not work further on house.

The initial call I was advised that the minimum charge for a repair is $750.00. Once they returned my call that minimum charge was not $1500. On the day they were to come out to inspect and provide I quote I received a call that they would not replace my flat roof but only if I replaced my existing tile roof. Beware they are price gouging - will report to the state of Florida as well.

They did an excellent job. They were very clean and professional. They did exactly what they said they would do and we would highly recommend them. We would definitely use them again.

Chose them because price seemed to be consistent with other quotes from well reviewed roofers, but they had slightly better warranty. No complaints. There was a slight mixup with tile order, but we felt they did everything possible to resolve as quickly as possible.

When I spoke with him, he reluctantly said that I needed to call the office to clarify what is in the deal. I have a tile roof and they refused to do it.

Bought the service. Sent them an email and never heard back. Sent another email and received a reply that someone would call to schedule a time. Never heard back. Sent a third email and received a call stating that they should have never been included in my area. i explained that i checked the service map and they were clearly included in my area and they stated that was an Angies List issue. He said he would look into and get back to me..still hasnt. They may be very good at what they do...i would never know. This may be an Angie problem, again i would never know because no one seems willing to communicate in a timely and professional manner. disappointing to say the least.

I had a good experience using Allied. It took about 2 months to complete my job from start to finish. Allied performed a top notch job and did not cut any corners. My only qualm was the abundance of left over material, make sure the calculations in the contract are correct before you sign.

After purchasing the voucher. I called them to only find out they don't service the area I live in. - Miami Shores - I suggest creating a visible section where you specify all the areas you don't support before users pay for your services.

Overall , the process went well. When Allied workers went to work they were very focused and performed like a machine. The quoted price was competitive and the written warranty was the best out of the group of estimates I requested. There was a last minute upgrade at the contract signing, 1700$, for a better primary layer. This seemed a bit of a surprise but made sense to do. The tear off the the old roof went very fast . During the tear off though, my newish garage door was dented in a small 3"x4" gouge about a 1/4" deep. The contractor took a few photos of it. Tearing off an old roof is very messy and yard debris is part of it. I found maybe a dozen tin cap nails afterwards, one of which I stepped on and it went through my croc and in to my foot. I saw the contractor do a sweep of the property with a magnet to pick up what they could. They did try. This was perhaps an unusual reroof job because the house was tented for termite/ bugs in-between roofing phases. After the primary layer was installed and before the tile delivery, the house was tented, by Petri pest Co.. This and a problem with primary layer that needed to be fixed led to a 6 week extension of the job time. There was a strip of top layer primary , over the hot-mop tar layer, the had bubble/blisters running it's length. After consulting with city inspectors, the decision was made to re-tar and lay over-lapping primary to the peak of the house. This fixed the problem and Allied very promptly finished tiling the roof. Overall, the roof looks tight and level. There are a few very small , detail , blemishes, that to me were disappointing. But, most people probably won't notice them...The flat roof portion looks very good. Anyway, the roof size was about 3000sqf, used Entegra tile, the wife is happy with the way it looks. Allied took a small amount off the final payment for some work that was not called for but was originally in the contract. Overall, Allied did good work and moved to solve problems as they were noticed.

Allied Roofing and Sheet Metal was recommended to us by a friend that had his roof replaced by them. John G. was the Allied representative that gave us the full estimate, walked through the options all the way to contract. Once we closed on the property work started nearly immediately. The old roof was removed quickly, damaged sections repaired properly, and was then just 30 lb.roofing felt (tar paper for us laymen) when South Florida came under a hurricane threat. Allied went through their protocol to secure our yet unfinished roof. After the threat was gone, work proceeded with the new aluminum roof installation. That specialty team worked with obvious expertise and craftsmanship. The result is a beautiful roof for a lifetime. The pricing was competitive to other quotes, and better that two. Allied's reputation was such and the job so important that price was not the only consideration, but they were where they needed to be to get our business. From beginning to completion, John and his team communicated with us at each stage. The property was left as clean as practical at each work day, care was taken to insure access to the house for other work going on, they stepped up and went beyond to make sure our home was secured against a potential storm. They did the work on time, on budget and with no flaws in workmanship. What more can you ask for? This is the second time we used Allied Roofing and Sheet Metal. We used them in the past for a minor repair at income property. The repair went very well and finished in about the time frame they provided. We had to wait for the matching tiles to come in, otherwise they probably would ahve finsiehd it in no time. I got estimates form 3 different companies. Allied was actually the most expensive quote. However, the scope of work listed were different for teh 3 quotes. Val Agra came to give the estimate. He spent time onthe roof and in the attic and emailed me the estimate the next days with details and pictures of what needed to be done. The two other companies only spent a few minutes looking on the roof and did not bother to check the attic. They said it was too hot and they cannot be sweating since they have other customers to see. I called one of the companies back that coriginally gave an estimate that was $400 less than Allied. For the same scope of work, the quote was $100 less than Allied. I decided to go with Allied Roofing & Sheet Metal because I felt that they really know what they are doing. This job was a small job, yet they took time to make sure they provided me with a correct estimate. Had I gone with other roofing companies, the job would not have been done correctly or I would have ended up with the "surprise additional cost". I will definitely use them again in the future.

This is the 2nd house that we have used Allied for. They did an excellent job, exceeding our expectations. From the beginning Johna was always available and informative answering every question. During the re-roof process Steve was amazing. He responded immediately to every concern with professionalism. We are very happy to highly recommend them!

They were on time and they delivered the quality of the materials.

I feel compelled to let other know my experience with Allied Roofing. I am very leery of any contractors in FLORIDA so I anguished over picking the right company. I meet with several contractors and I read the contract very carefully and compared them all. I chose Allied because of the contract and experience with several people in my neighborhood that had experience with them and some that had experience with other companies. My roof also had a "sag" that needed to be corrected. They took off the entire roof to the rafters and rebuilt it. (no extra cost, which I thought was going to be a ton of extra money). Had the entire roof corrected and put back the same day. My neighbors had the same sag and they used another company that "covered the sag with plywood rather than fixing the real problem which was the trusses. I have an entire new barrel roof in less than 2 weeks. Al the main supervisor and Steve the onsite supervisor along with all the workers were very professional, efficient, knowledgable. I am extremely satisfied with the work that they all did, from the start to the end.

I thought I brought a voucher for roof inspection with a $100 credit. The company stated that they did tile roofs in their description. A representative came out and said the the voucher was for a shingle not a tile roof. All he could do was look at then outside because they can't evaluate and certify a shingle roof.

The gentleman was prompt and on time. He went right to work. Took a little over an hour and the windows sparkled

This company could not have done a better job. I requested quotes from several roofing companies(4) to contract for a new roof. Several bids were delivered to me including Allied Roofing. At first , Allied Roofing was a little higher than most of the other roofing companies but after talking with the sales rep, he was able to bring the cost down to a few hundred dollars above the lowest bidder. Once that happened, it was pretty much a done deal due to the fact that a): the cost was reasonable and b): all other bidders only warranted their work for 5 or 7 years, where as Allied Roofing warranted theirs fro 10 Years. Couldn't resist after that. Once the contract was signed, it turned out to be one of the best dealings that I have had with any contractor. They contacted me on every step of the process from start to finish. At one point there was small leak after they had installed the initial paper on the roof and I notified them of the problem. They immediately had someone come over and take care of the issue. I was very impressed by the way Allied Roofing operated. These folks have a process in place that is text-book from start to finish. They know what they are doing and doing it seamlessly and with the best interest of the customer. They were so good that I recommended them to my neighbor. She only got one other quote from a bidder and decided to go with Allied Roofing after looking at what they did to my roof. Allied Roofing even gave her the same price as was given to me. She has a brand new roof now and is just ecstatic in the way the whole process went for her. I would recommend Allied Roofing to anyone who needs a roof. They run a very clean operation. I wish other contractors would have the level of operational abilities the way these folks do. It seemed pretty obvious after the fact, the decision that I made with Allied Roofing was the right one.

Overall the project was a success and would recommend using Allied Roofing for roofing projects. The team was very professional and completed the roof installationwithin a few weeks. We had some delays to due to the weather (rain in the summer month) but that was out of our control. The team made sure to clean up the site everyday and kept me in the loop as to what phase of the project was up next (i.e Roof teardown, hot mopping, Tile delivery, ect). Good communication is crucial when undertaking a large project, and Allied did a great job communicating with the customer. Furthermore, Allied accepted credit card for payments. This was very helpful and was an important decision when choosing a roof company due to the high cost of the project. Thank you!

******UPDATE****** issue has been resolved. I originally gave a review listed C for the service provided. The issue was that I was chasing the paper work required to renew my insurance policy for over a month (a letter byt he compnay stating the repairs as well as the pictures of the repairs). Job was done on September 17 and we repeatedly contacted them. Last contact was on October 1, 2014 before I wrote a review. The director of sales called me on October 14, 2014 after he became aware of the situation. He repatedly apologized and promised to get it corrected as soon as he can. My tenant called to let me know someone showed up to take the pictures at the house that night. The very next morning the director showed up at my work to hand-deliver the letter, along with flowers. I am pleasantly surprised that they actually read the review and care to rectify the situation. At the end, I am happy with the work and got the paper work I needed. I wish I could have given them A all around. The guy who came out to give estimate was nice and professional, the repair guy was good, the director of sales was great. Unfortunately someone at the office dropped the bomp and it caused them the grade.

We had worked with Allied Roofing in the past on smaller projects. My husband is a builder and he had very good experiences working with Johnna and the team at Allied in the past. This house, though was to be our own personal house and a high-end luxury home. We wanted to see who else was out there (on the luxury side of things) before making a decision. We met with several roofers before making a final decision. Interestingly, Allied had a great portfolio of work they had done - numerous roofs in luxury communities were done by Allied. We went with Allied, knowing and trusting the team and being satisfied that they have the skill to perform this caliber of work. There were several special features on this roof including a steep 8/12 pitch, aluminum dormers and two chimney caps. They fabricated everything absolutely beautifully. We could not be more pleased. For any kind of roofing work whatsoever, I recommend Allied without hesitation!

They showed up exactly on time. They listened first. They heard what I thought I wanted and proceeded to tell me what options were available and asked if I had considered X,Y and Z. They brought to my attention options I had not considered and offered to include them as Ad Hoc cost on the written estimate to review. Ultimatley I decided against a new roof as my career has potentially driven another relocation and I decided against making this type of investment without knowing how long I will be living a this property. John the sales person at Allied i really great. He took a lot of time to educate me on the process. Explained my options. He also explained that I may get a cheaper estimate and in fact he welcomed them saying it's a great way to point out how to avoid corners being cut or cheap materials being used. That made sense to me. I'm not climbing on the roof to inspect the job or know I'm getting what I paid for. If someone cuts corners in an estimate and doesnt detail out why it's cheaper or what type of materials are used then how can you trust that the extra time not spent on a $15k - $20k investment is actually going to be spent in the application of the materials applied on the roof? I thought that was a pretty good point. He was quite confident in an apples to apples comparision he would be the best deal. Through the whole process I never felt like I was being pushed to close a deal or to buy something I wasnt sure I needed. A very profesional company that values respect and transparency. I will definatly consider doing business with them in the future when the timing aligns should it in the long term.

The company sent Johna out on 5/5/14. She was on time and nice; however, she did not actually go on the roof to inspect the area in question. She was gone in 5 min. just saying that she knows what the problem is and that the company would charge $750 just to remove tile and look at the area further to detect the exact problem. She stated that she would send the estimate via email. It is now 5/15/14 and I never got the email. Meanwhile, got 2 estimates from other companies who actually had people inspect the roof. One gave a detailed estimate on the spot. The other sent it via email the next day. I would not recommend Allied based on my experience. Update: Received a call from Johna on 5/16/14 asking if I had received the estimate via email. I stated, "No". She stated that she sent it on 5/6/14 and read my email address back to me. Apparently, the original call taker at Allied took down my email address wrong.

I needed a new roof and called 6 different companies and John from Allied Roofing gave me the best price. They can out and gave me a new roof that looks like it will last 40 years. I recommend Allied to anyone who needs a new roof. They are very professional, give great pricing and do a great job.
