It started out great! Artie came out & gave us a quote but I still haven't heard back from him. I was really disappointed because I really liked him :( I wasn't even going to bother getting another quote from another company. Granted he was going to look into helping us out with the concrete sidewalk & get back to us but haven't heard from him. I even left a message a week or so later saying we would just like to get the ball rolling.

Very well. No problems. Artie was very responsive and prompt.

Did not get the work done as they never followed up with a price

We have a large driveway plus circular drive that was in poor shape from previous shoddy work years ago. They did a great job telling me what was needed and estimate was exact. Driveway looks amazing! It's holding up quite well so far!

Buyer beware. I am extremely disappointed in the work performed by Allied Paving. I met with Artie at the end of 2015, he seemed very professional and quoted me a very fair price. The work was completed on time but has quickly deteriorated. The parking lot in front of my fourplex is crumbling away and Artie will not respond to me. I have given him multiple opportunities to visit the site and fix the problems, but he has never followed through. After the fourth time trying to contact him, I even let him know that I would be posting negative reviews if he didn't respond. I am extremely disappointed in the work that was completed and would not recommend Allied Paving at all.

Like some of the other reviews I read here, they could not keep an appointment. When I called the owner after driving over to the property to confirm they were on the way because it was already past the appointment time, he blew me off and hung up on me! I manage many commercial properties and was looking for a new asphalt company to handle this work, so it's their loss.

The company was prompt to give me an estimate and they were punctual for the starting time. They also did a very good job of removing the little patches of grass that were just starting to show in a few of the cracks. Probably the most impressive service was the edging of the bordering lawn area with a hand held circular saw... brilliant idea. The crew worked consistently and conscientiously. So far, so good. The very next day after the resurfacing, white lines were showing along the cracks in the asphalt!?! I had not seen this before when I had our driveway resurfaced in the past. So, I waited a day and another day to see if they went away. They didn't... and of this writing, they were still there until yesterday (04/05/2016... 11 months later) when we had Collegiate resurface our driveway. The lines are not evident today, one day after Collegiate's service. I did call Allied when the white lines stayed visible and the person I talked to said they would come out and see what was happening. They never did. Or, if they did come out, they never contacted me about it. Things happen in real life. But it is what you do about it that makes the difference in how the incident is perceived. In my case, nothing was done about it. Hence, the D rating. They had done so much of the job well but chose to make an empty promise at the end. That and the white lines and the grass growing back through so quickly. I can only surmise that the liquid used for resurfacing was on the thin side. But that is only a guess. It does explain what I encountered, though. Why so late in my review? I forgot who did the job until I wrote the check to Collegiate and happened to use the same checkbook from which I wrote the check to Allied Paving. (I hardly ever write checks choosing to use my credit card instead.) So, trying to be as fair and complete as possible, Allied had several good points but they failed on the one that counted the most... the resurfacing itself. If it is too thin the job is a fail. And if they do not respond to inquiries about the service, what does that say about their belief in what they do?

Non-responsive to several phone messages requesting quotes. I have never been able to talk to a living person.

I live in a community with an HOA. My old asphalt driveway was cracking and I had a bad flooding problem when it would rain because the old driveway was pitched towards my home. The association installed some drain boxes near the driveway but they were useless since the driveway wasn't pitched in the direction of the drain boxes. I knew the only way to get this flooding problem fixed was that I needed my driveway removed and replaced. After calling several paving companies most didn't want my job because it wasn't "big enough" for them or they quoted me a very high price which they knew I wouldn't accept. I decided to look on Angie's List and saw Allied Paving and their perfect feedback profile. I called Artie and he came out within a couple days to see my project which was to remove and re-asphalt my driveway. He provided me with a fair price and we scheduled the work. His crew came out promptly and did what they had to do. I would highly recommend Allied Paving 100%. Today it poured for about 5-10 minutes and the water went right in to the drain box.. I even took a video of it.. I was VERY happy to see this... Thank you Artie.

The owner Artie and his head man (or one of them) Benny were easy to work with. I had done a little research and thought the job was going to be more expensive. His men showed up - cut out the portions of the driveway that had been lifted by vegetation, came back the next day and patched them and then came back the follow day, blew leaves off the driveway, and spread out the sealcoat. Benny has been working for Artie for 20 years, so you know that's a professional team. All the men were older and sure knew their business. I am a very satisfied customer and will hire them again. Highly recommend.

Very satisfactory job. Was a small patch, but I am happy and impressed with the result.

We called for an estimate and heard back from Artie the next day. Artie came out to give us an estimate promptly and quoted us a reasonable price. We were going on vacation so we scheduled it a few weeks later. In the mean time Artie worked on getting the permit. The workers showed up as scheduled and performed the work completing it by 1PM. They filled in the swale area the driveway with some extra asphalt which was a bit lower than the street and the main driveway making it more even. They cleaned up their mess - only small bits left here and there.....you could have hardly believe that they were there. We were real happy with the entire process and would recommend Allied paving. The driveway looks great!

Called company two days in a row and left messages with no return phone calls. Very unprofessional way to do business and no I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Excellent service. Artie arrived on time for all appointments, provided alternatives to save costs and provided high quality service. Very professional workers, ensured excellent work. Excellent work, fair price, on time - Artie and Allied are a rare find these days! Highly recommended

I called and left a mesg to get an estimate. No one ever returned my call. I guess they are that busy.

Artie had a crew of 6 that arrived promptly and did an excellent job removing old driveway, and they did a fine job preparing the surface for new asphalt and removing tree roots that were in the way. They were a respectful crew and cleaned up after they were done and told me how to take care of it. An excellent contractor and crew. And equal opportunity employer, employing all minorities PLUS a woman truck driver to deliver the asphalt and she did an excellent job too.

He came to finish paving after a month of waiting, there is a crater where it has sunk in and it is bumpy he told me he would come back to put the final seal on and fix the holes he hasn’t been back. I have tried to contact him several times and he finally responded that be out in two weeks but that has come and gone and I have not heard from him.

Went very well. Artie and his crew were professional, showed up as promised, and completed the repair quickly and with no neighborhood disruption. They even cleaned up after themselves without prompting. Overall..Great job!

Obtaining the permit was timely (it took between two/three weeks) before I was notified that they were available to re-surface the driveway. That morning the crew of about eight, with all their equipment, arrived early (as I requested). The old asphalt was totally removed, the rock underneath rolled down. Then, new asphalt was distributed evenly, rolled, tamped, seared and finally extraneous pieces cleaned up. I was amazed that the entire process only took about 4-5 hours. The road was clean. I gave them their check before the driveway was inspected, because I could see it would pass and it did. One tiny portion of the edge where the driveway meets the road, needed to be repaired. They came by later and fixed it. Nice job. I

They were very courteous, thorough, and professional. They came on time, and didn't ask for payment until they did the job.

I left a message requesting a quote for expanding my asphalt driveway. Arty called me back within a couple of hours. I explained the scope of the job I wanted and Arty asked where I live. When I told him I lived in Coconut Creek he told me he "stayed out of there" and does not get along with the city; "not my cup of tea" is exactly what he stated. Even if I did not live in Coconut Creek, it is apparent that this would not be a good fit. If the company can not be professional and deal with the normal processes withn the city, why would I believe that they have good customer service?

FANTASTIC! Artie's crew did a great job for a very fair price. Our driveway looks fantastic and has held up very well. We will not use anyone else to work on our driveway. Artie and his crew were professional and prompt.

They returned our phone call promptly. Workers were on time, hard working and courteous. We were satisfied with the results.

Artie was contacted 4 times for a quote; quote was never provided. Never called back until the 2nd request for quote; he said would quote, never did. Contacted for the 3rd time, Artie said he would provide quote by 1/3; never did. Contacted Artie for the 4th time (evening 1/3) said he would be out on 1/4 and I told him not to bother. If they can't provide a quote in time I would hate to see how long it would take to get the job completed. Signed contact today with another vendor (1/4/2014).

Went without a hitch. All five men working during the installation process. "Arty" the contractor was no nonsense professional and did everything he said he would do. found in the nearby grass the day afterThe only thing that could have been done a little better was the finishing cleanup of excess asphalt.
